The CSX-002 Bomber, otherwise known as the "Hunter Bomber", is a durable starfighter designed by the engineers of Druckenwell Shipyards. Crafted with the role of general assault in mind, the CSX-002 was enjoys a reinforced hull and plating composed of reinforced Durasteel and Duraplast. Through this, the vessel can withstand a moderate sum of punishment in the event of a shield droppage; thereby allowing the pilot precious seconds to either launch the bomber's payload or eject. In terms of armaments, the CSX-002 Bomber houses a duo of warhead launchers. The first of which is a proton torpedo launcher, which excels at impacting capital ship hulls, starfighters, and ground targets alike. The second is an intruder missile launcher whose payload excels at addressing shields. Through this selection of armaments, the Hunter Bomber is capable of conducting bombing runs against a wide variety of targets with relative ease. As a whole, the vessel is a durable and reliable addition to the Confederacy of Independent Systems' Naval Forces.
