PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
all things considered, Hawk has a generally chill personality and is usually pragmatic, usually the type to crack jokes while under heavy blaster fire. he is just a general reliable clone you can expect to help you, even if he isn't great at it.
STRENGTHS
Excellent Marksmen- Originally trained to be the marksmen of the group, even after all these years, his aim is still true
Veteran- He has seen the worst of the Clone Wars had to offer and is battle-hardened by the experience, don't expect him to get shaken easily
Stealth Expertise- he is a commando, after all, he's pretty good at keeping out of sight
Demolition expert- Thermals, Charges, you name em, he can use em
Good Hand-to-Hand and Melee Combat- Never hurts to get up close and personal
WEAKNESSES
Follower- He was never much of a leader, best you take orders from someone else
Reckless- He tends to charge into battle when he probably shouldn't
Lackluster Tech Skills- never been much of a tech head, used to blowing the door down
Bad Mechinal Skills- aside from his armor and weapons, he's never been one for maintenance
Morality isn't part of the job description- Being a part of a black ops team, he made some not-so-moral decisions during the war. so to him, being moral isn't what a solider is, it's about getting the job done
HISTORY
CT-9219 "Hawks" was a first-generation clone trooper, Created in 24 BBY, and was assigned to a Clone Commando squad called "Ionic Squad" more commonly referred to as "The Black Stripes." Hawks training would mainly involve marksmen ship and demolitions, as he was the group's sniper and demolitions expert. After years of training, he would get his taste of action during the First Battle of Geonosis, where his squadron was tasked with data collection and sabotage. their squad performed admirably in the sabotage part, managing to take out some Core ships before they left, but the data collection was a bit of a bust since they were unable to gather anything really important. Throughout the years, Ionic Squad would mainly act as a sort of black ops unit, taking care of various enemies of the republic, whether they be internal or external. however, during the early third year of the war, The Black Stripes were called to the world of Maridun to a secret Republic science base. when they arrived, they were told that would be a part of a special project that could turn the tide of the war, but they would need to be cryogenically frozen in a special pod as normal anesthetics were deemed too weak for the procedure. After being cryogenically frozen, however, the project was soon scrapped as the resources needed were not yet available and the science team began to fall under some flack for "Dubious ethical concerns." with the project scrapped, the clones were simply left in cryogenic stasis, even long after the facility was abandoned. many years later, an operative of the Empire of the Lost would find the facility, originally believing it to be an old republic armory. what he found instead was an intact Old Republic Commando from the days of the Clone Wars. after unfreezing the lost clone, he was brought up to speed about all of the events that happened in the past 900 years or so. he also learned that he was the only survivor of Ionic squad as the other pods had malfunctioned, which killed his trapped brothers. it wasn't long after that he was recruited into the Empire of the Lost, after all, he is a soldier and what is a soldier without a faction to fight for
