Curiosity Killed The Dragon

office.jpg
Kalor-Tech CEO Office
Coruscant
Quartermaster of the Assassins, a role only Killian held so far. It had it's advantages, especially since the Sith were powerful friends. Money and Protection, what more could anyone ask for? The answer for him was simple; meaning. Truth be told he felt empty sitting behind his computer terminal, running admin for Kalor-Tech and providing intel for the Assassins on the field. Do not be mistaken, he knew the importance of his role, but he wished to do more.

Another advantage of Killian's position was access to the Assassin's data, although he had pretty much granted himself such. The names and profiles of each recognizable member usually classified to those without the clearance or power. He scanned and scouted, looking through each one's mission history to find one suitable for the task he had in mind. A few stood out, but one more so than the others.
Kitty.

A private, secure message to be sent to straight to her personal terminal.
I request your assistance on a matter of secrecy yet great importance.
Please, come by my office on Coruscant, I'll supply the transport for you should you be elsewhere.
Be careful who you tell.
Blunt, yet polite. It would confuse her for sure, but cats were known for their curiosity, and he only hoped hers would lead her to come...

Kitty yawned waking up in her luxurious bed within the Royal Palace of Felacat. The first thing she did was check her messages. Every day she checked her messages hoping for something from Ferus for some news that the scattered assassins were doing alright and were making progress towards finding a new home. Instead she found the only assassin member she didn't know the scent of messaging her.

"A secret important something." Kitty thought to herself. She was interested and supposed she probably should be doing more for the assassins than just sitting around. Grabbing [member="Treck"] Kitty boared her Phasma and had her pilot droid set their destination for Coruscant the planet Kitty hated most yet seemed to be continually drawn to for one reason or another.

Kitty recovered from they hyperspace trip shortly after they landed on Coruscant. Kitty and her apprentice made their way through the loud and stinky busy streets. The damn planet almost caused her as much stress as hyperspace did. Her ears and nose were overwhelmed with unpleasant information she would have rather not known. It was quite literally painful burning her nose and hurting her ears.

Eventually Kitty would find some reprieve from the harshness of Coruscant inside the office she was told to go. The young sith looked around for [member="Osaji Killian"] the person she was suppose to be meeting.

Treck was in the Cockpit of the Phasma when Kitty set the destination to Coruscant, Treck raised a brow at the sudden transfer between planets. He was wondering why they were going to Coruscant anyways. Treck absolutely hated Coruscant, it smelled, it was crowded, and there was alot of crime. Well, any other planet had alot of crime as well. But Treck thought to himself as his master took him through the streets of the planet, "Why Coruscant?" Treck asked his master. He wondered why he was even here, couldn't he just stay on the ship? Well, maybe it was training or something, something Treck didn't have alot of. He then arrived to Kitty's destination, she was seeming to be looking for someone, but who? Who was of Kitty's interest on Coruscant?
Treck had thoughts racing through his mind as his master looked for the person.

Killian sat by his desk, giving a smirk to the two assassins who entered his office.
"I'm glad you could make it." He complimented, standing up and moving around his desk closer to them. "No doubt you're wondering why you're here."
His smirk maintained, enjoying the few moments before sating the curiosity of the cat and her apprentice.
"Lockdown Office, Authorization: Redhawk." With these words a shutter began spreading across the window, before the outside view of Coruscant's skyscrapers were seen no more. Instead the room illuminated orange from various holographic screens which appeared on the wall, but Killian paid no attention to them.
"I'll get straight to it; I require training in the force." He spread his hands outwards as he explained, as if it were a grand reveal. "But in secret. You and your apprentice may know, but once I'm ready to work in the field I maintain a disguise. A whole new persona." His hand rested on his desk, which suddenly sunk into the ground to make the office a large open space.

"Are you willing to keep the secret?"

Treck would sit down at one of the chairs he found in the room. Placing his hands under his chin. He was still pondering why he was here, but he sensed something in this man, was it the force? Or was it just a strange feeling? He /was/ on Coruscant, he had a strange feeling about everything.
He was then asked if he could keep a secret, which he could of course do. He was very good at keeping secrets.
"I won't tell anyone even if I'm being interrogated."

"I don't know." Was Kitty's response to her apprentices question.

While Treck took a seat Kitty remained standing.

[member="Osaji Killian"] seemed content to tease Kitty's curiosity by confirming questions she had. Thankfully he didn't leave her in suspense for too long as he said something to his computer office thingy. Apparently this was his office's lock down mode and put Kitty on edge, her ears twitching at the sound of the window shutters. With the recent betrayal of the assassins and the loss of her home the young feline was more than a little suspicious of a trap. Thankfully such fears were debunked as the man explained he called her here to ask for secret training and Kitty visibly relaxed.

"I have no problem keeping this secret but why me?" Kitty asked. "I am still new to this whole teaching thing and I take a bit of a different approach to being sith. Why not Ferus?"

Kitty imagined her current apprentice must be pretty board right now. She knew he was eager to train, but Kitty liked to take things slow. She was also a social feline. so he would just have to learn how to be patient. He seemed to be doing pretty well so far. [member="Treck"]

Killian smirked at the mans comment, giving a nod of acknowledgement.
"I appreciate your loyalty." His gaze then turned to Kitty, waiting a few seconds to think of his reply. "If you didn't already know, I have access to the Assassin's database. Mainly because I helped secure them, but also as part of my job. I've seen your file, and you are quite unique. Not just because of your species." For a moment Killian's eyes scanned up and down Kitty's body, as if examining her form. The corner of his mouth flickered up into a slight smile only for a few seconds, before he returned his more serious attention to her face. "I could have trusted Ferus with this, but something told me he wasn't right. Something told me you were right."

"But please, enlighten me on your 'different approach' to being a Sith..." He folded his arms, curious to see how she explained herself and her ideologies.

Kitty examined Killian just as he examined her. But while he was examining her body she was examining his intentions. Her mind couldn't help but wander to this could be a trap. The way he had said she was unique, she knew he didn't mean for it to bring up memories of when she was a slave but it did. Not very pleasant those memories were. In any case she couldn't figure anything out. It felt like he was hiding something. Course he was hiding all of this and sharing it with her. Maybe that was the vibe she was getting.

"Well to put it simply I'm not as cruel as other sith and I care for more than just myself. I also don't train myself to hate or fear everything as a method to connect with the dark side. I look at that as cheap cheating with some very negative side effects and also find it contradictory to the sith code. I use whatever emotion is present weather it be passion or compassion to connect with the dark side. Hate or love both are conduits." Kitty explained and waited for Killian's reaction.
[member="Osaji Killian"]

Killian smiled at her response, along with a slight movement that would suggest the tiniest of an interior laugh. "And you asked why I picked you?"

"I think your method is much superior to Ferus', I'd very much like to learn from you. Be your apprentice, you could say. Although to remind you, I'd have to be disguised if we do any work in the field. But that's no stress on your part, I very much have a disguise in the works." He stopped for a moment, flickering his gaze between [member="Kitty"] and [member="Treck"]

"So what do you say? Will you take me as your apprentice?"

Kitty

The Attention Seeker
It was one thing to believe a sith could be trained differently which that alone gave Kitty all sorts of warm fuzzies. For someone to actually ask for training different from the usual and call it superior, how could Kitty refuse. She was almost bursting with excitement. Soo much so she didn't even think about how she is suppose to handle all of these apprentices. "Sure I'll take you on as my apprentice. Tell me a bit about yourself and then tell me what you know about the sith. Do you know the sith code and much training do you have?" Kitty would ask. [member="Osaji Killian"]

Killian smiled at Kitty's acceptance, turning slightly for a moment to think about her question.
"I did some research before approaching you, of course. I know the Sith code, and I managed to uncover some of the techniques the Sith use to... 'connect' with the force. As for physical training..." He turned to a table in the corner of the room, extending his hand out to a pen on it's edge. With seconds of concentration and a slight movement in his wrist, the pen rolled the few inches to the edge and dropped to the floor. "That's as far as I've got. So I'm afraid there's some work to be done."

Turning back to Kitty, he attempted to reassure her.
"Of course, I can train in my own time. You won't have to babysit me, I assure you."

Kitty listened as [member="Osaji Killian"] told and demonstrated what he had learned so far. "Good, you're about as far along as my current apprentice is. I won't be baby sitting you, but I will be baby sitting your training. I may be training you secret but if you want to be trained you will have to be my apprentice through and through, which mean I will have to keep an eye on you. Now if you are up to it we can start some training now. I think Treck here has been itching to learn how to hold a lightsaber for awhile. What equipment do you have here?" Kitty asked her new apprentice.

"I'm glad you asked." Killian said, turning to the wall behind him before Kitty could see the smirk on his face. As he placed his hand on the wall, a small compartment opened seemingly out of nowhere, containing two cylinders. Pulling one out, he held it to the light to reveal it in more detail. The cylinder was in fact a lightsaber, which ignited with a crimson red blade as he activated it. "It's a wonder what you can find on the black market."

"Will Treck be needing one?" Killian offered, gesturing to the other hilt inside the compartment in case the other apprentice wished to take it.

Treck looked up as the lightsaber was activated, it's crimson red glow showing around the room. Treck was indeed itching to learn how to hold a lightsaber properly, at least show he had one. He did start from scratch anyway, so he'd have to learn alot of this stuff. He responded to Killian with
"I'll take one... If my master believes that I am ready."
"Thank you for your offer.
Treck then turned to his master, awaiting her approval.

Kitty nodded her head in approval. She was just going to let them use the two lightsabers she had. It was even better [member="Osaji Killian"] had his own lightsabers though. Still she questioned the quality of these lightsabers, weather the were built properly or not. "Do you have any blasters, preferably with low stun settings?" Kitty asked. Once she received her answer she would then continue. "Alright so you may have learned to use the force a bit, but my guess is you've been having the hardest time learning more. My guess is you haven't properly learned how to sense the force. So I am going to go out and grab my droid. While I'm doing that [member="Treck"] I want you to teach Osaji what I taught you on Felacat. While I'm gone don't mess with the lightsabers just yet. I don't want to come back and find you two have cut your limbs off. They are trickier to hold than you think." With that Kitty would leave. She also planned on grabbing some guns if Osaji said he didn't have any or at least the kind she needed with a low level stun setting.

Deactivating the blade on his lightsaber, Killian nodded to his new master.
"Stun settings aren't my thing, so I don't have anything like that." He replied to her question, assuming she had some outside with her droid to use. When she mentioned [member="Treck"] teaching him 'what she taught him on Felacat', he turned inquisitively to the other man.
"What did you learn on Felacat, hmm?" He asked, waiting to learn whatever it was whilst Kitty retrieved her droid. As a precaution he holstered the lightsaber on his belt, not wanting to chop any limbs off. Atleast not today...

Treck nodded as his master had left the room. He was wondering why his master had asked for blasters that had stun settings. He then looked up to Osaji Killian, the new apprentice that Kitty had made. He was asked what he had learned from Kitty, which was not much, but he could tell Killian.
"I learned how to sense people who can use the force. Strong with the force and weak with the force."
"But before that I learned the Sith Code, which you already know."
"That's all I've learned so far. Oh, wait, I actually know how to hold a lightsaber, I use the form Sith Shien."
