Elara Amadis
Red headed Wild card
They weren't feral she did not care what they all said. Elara sat back down on her hunches looking towards the group of children who stared back at her. They whispered to one another, pointed at her and she narrowed her eyes and growled.
The children screamed and ran, a slow satisfied smile appeared on her face. She shook her head, then looked down at her arm. The scar had already turned silver which made her frown. Her mother would not be happy if she saw that, all she had to do was wait a little longer. Then she could head home, rather get yelled at for being late than for fighting.
She fell back to sit on her backside, flopping backwards to look up at the sky. She smiled her tiny canines glistened in the sun, her skin already golden took on a bronzed golden look. But it was her hair that seemed to be wild and untamed, no matter how many times she combed it. The strands of yellow mingled with the orange red given her that fiery redhead look. Her eyes green with yellow flecks scanned from right to left looking for anything moving, a bird, a bat, a ship something, anything.
Hearing nothing close her ears seem to twitch and every third blink the nictating membranes on her eyes would open and close. Anyone that would have taken notes on her to analyze would certainly have marked her inhuman, feral.
It wasn't true.
She had cognizant thoughts, and speech even if she did speak with a slight accent. But that was from traveling that wasn't because she couldn't speak.
Elara sat up and put her head into her hands. Yeah. She licked her lips and then stopped. that probably doesn't help my look She sighed again, and looked at her arm, almost gone she could go. It would take about 15 minutes to walk home and by them the scar should also be gone.
She skipped along like any child would on their way home.
Present Day
Location: Nar Shadaa
There were looks she smiled a broad smile ensuring the tips of her canines showed the woman who was staring her eyes widened for a moment and then she quickly turned away. Elara laughed.
Shaking her head and still visualizing the look on her face made her laugh more. Yes there were still those that that she would eat them, while protein was an important part of her diet she had not taken to eating anyone. Bantha steak worked well with a side of almost anything. Course now going to a restaurant and eating also caused a few looks, not that she ate with her mouth open.
More like when she was eating each time she chewed her teeth tended to show, giving her that animal look again.
She saw others of her species not many but some. They all seemed quite normal quite accepted, so was it her, or something else.
"grrrrrrr" she stopped bad habit she growled when she was thinking. Then she purred and smiled.
"damn" then she laughed again, if she couldn't laugh at herself then no one could laugh at her.
Most everyone was headed into any one of the drinking establishments, she found them extremely loud, it hurt her ears, and the lighting played with her eyes. She preferred the food cart right here on the square.
There were several offering proteins and vegetables. She could get her fill right there. She started with what the vendor promised her was good bantha, it had better be. She nodded and paid for it, they had covered it in some kind of white sauce, which she wished they hadn't.
She picked some of it apart with her fingers, the sirens were going off again.
Someone muttered, "nother gang shooting down a couple of levels,"
Elara blinked, she wondered. Gang shooting.
She was curious.
