Cutting Old Ties (Invite)

Corellia
Southern Sea: Vreni Island
The time. The time. The time. It always came down to the time. Night fall was soon to pass on the beautiful isles. Time had come for a job to become well done. The job? A large party held an interest in Coronet Durasteel. The name of the company was beyond old and the family that now owned it being among royalty for a reason. To this wonderful fact was why they had called Ladro. 'The Faceless Man' was who they actually knew him as. Other than that they hadn't known who they had been put in contact with because it was a friend of a friend who had gotten in contact. Still half payment had already hit a secure credit line and the other half was pending. In total he would be looking at 300 million credits wealthier after the split with [member="Soulfire Ticon"]. Not a bad chunk of change and enough to get the ball rolling on a few projects in the near future.

Ascending the side of the building had taken some time but his nimble ways had brought him to the floor housing the company's ten board members who were set to vote on the family remaining in power of the company. All of these people were looking to gain fortunes upon fortunes in the next year alone. Due to this number of how much they stood to gain allowed Ladro to drive the price up for each members head. Eyes watched the timer counting down right before his eyes thanks to the holovid connected to his hood. 5 , 4 , 3 , 2... "Move." Ladro's calm voice spoke into the comm that spoke directly to his partner on a secure link. His bare hands that were holding him securely on the ledge of the first room jolted his body upwards over the railing and boots landed silently. A plan had been established for the five that were his problem. Rendevousing back at the hangar bay to catch a shuttle back to the beautiful Capital City of Corellia to lay low for a few hours before catching passage off planet side again on a Coronet Durasteel vessel. Ladro planned on picking out something fancy as a bonus.

It happened all at once. A violent storm unleashed across the hall as the explosives Soulfire had placed detonated into a ball of fire and smoke. Red hot shrapnel and debris soared through the air, cutting down two of the guards outside the door.

A nice distraction, He mused to himself.

"Distraction set, execute second phase." He spoke into his comm device.

As if out of the shadows Soulfire himself stepped forwards, twin slughtrower pistols drawn and squeezed the triggers. Hyper sonic slugs ripped through the air with a crack, exploding flesh and bone before the guards could react. Both bodies hit the floor with smoking holes as alarms blared inside the conference room. The game was on now. With a silent determination and clenched jaw the Pirate Lord strode up to the double doors and gathered the force about him, preparing to bust them wide open....

Splicing through the encryption coded doors that separated the deck and the room was done before the explosion sent shudders through the building. The noise masked his entrance. A male something was standing in the center of the room with a small blaster aimed at the door. He whipped around to face the danger already telling him he was a goner. The agility of an assassin was faster than the board member could have anticipated. Two bounds forward before Ladro was sliding across the slick surface on the outer side of his thigh happened in an instant. Boots connected with the man's legs causing him to fall forward. His neck clutched in Ladro's right hand. A vibro blade exploded upon the contact into the man's throat. A gurggling pain filled cough shot blood and mucus from his gaping mouth. A quick jolt of energy shot through Ladro's limbs to push the bleeding out body off of him before the guards could reach the room. Already his next victim was consuming his mind. Guards had to be making their way to each room by now; surely. Luckily they weren't ready to respond or the explosion in the hall had been worse than one could imagine. A microdot explosive was left on the dead man's forehead before leaving through the door Ladro had come through.
Looking at the engage button on his holovid prompted his eyes to scan across the screen. Another explosion ensued sending debris and fire out of the room he had just exited. "One down four to go." He leapt across railings one after another before ending up at the next targets room. A firm kick forward released all of his power through the partially open door. Initial reaction slammed his right side against the exterior wall for cover while his blaster peppered the room cutting down two guards in civilian cloths and a woman in elegant garb. Blood splatter hit the wall behind them all. Time was ticking and Ladro was right on schedule. Running in for another microdot to be placed. This time the front door was needed as an exit. Moving into the hallway where five guards were stationed. Fun was about to be had. Their eyes turned to him. Arms raised while Ladro took a step backwards while the engage scan was prompted. An explosion blew out the door sending debris in front of him into the hallway and cutting off visual. His holovid switched to thermal scanning while covering the entirety of his hood face at his silent command.
(OOC I am taking down the stragglers. Go ahead and blow the socks off of the conference room.) [member="Soulfire Ticon"]

"Excellent, I’m breaching the main chambers now, Catch up with me and I'll hold off any guards wile you do your work."

When the words were finished, Soulfire unleashed the small amount of force energy he had gathered, focusing intently on funneling it into his leg and the door collectively. As his black booted foot hit the door, the force push exploded off of it, busting the locking mechanism and sending the double doors flying wide open. His white robed figure was met with screams of terror and alarmed looks.

A savage grin came over the Pirate lords face as two guards charged him from each corner. Both pistols swiveled to point towards them, muzzles hungry for blood and carnage. His arms crisscrossed, Soulfire pumped them full of slugs, and crimson blood sprayed in an arc across the entrance, covering him in droplets of ichor.

"Welcome to the end gentlemen, please be seated!" He exclaimed in booming voice...

Dropping to a knee meant safety and death for the faceless guards dropping like flies. They were without faces thanks to his blaster fire hitting them in the face one by one. Each of them looked frantic in their dying moments and would have fled but where would they have gone? The entire hallway was flat walled housing door after door after door. Turning on his heals when the work was done sent him running into the room at full speed behind his comrad who had busted in and dropped two guards. Ladro dodged to the left of the Pirate Lords body before cutting in right again and jumped onto the conference table. His blaster firing on the two board members sitting on the left side of the table. Both of them having one thing more in common. Their solar plex had just been exploded inwards and were poring blood on the massive polished wooden table.

"HA HA HA!" Soulfire roared as bodies began to hit the floor in earnest. He drank it in, the death the destruction, the massive amounts of blood now painting every surface of the conference room. The assassin was skilled man, and the darkside was strongly rooted here, in this very room.

Behind him Soulfire could hear the sound of muffled boots striking deckplates. It was all so subtle, but to man who lived to conquer it was so sweet. More victims.

He whirled as the squadron of armed guards fired and lifted his hands before him. In the split second before the bolts struck a silver hilted saber flew into hi hands and the golden blade sprang to life with a hiss. The noise of plasma meets plasma echoed across the walls and the screams of two guards dying from their own bolts punctuated it further.

Now fully immersed in a voretx of darkness and delight Soulfire launched himself down the hall with unnatural speed, blade weaving an infinity pattern about his frame. Legs and arms flew against the walls and doors. Bodies fell with smoking holes. He reversed the blade and slashed again, before the guards knew the peril they faced. A head flew now, eyes locked in shock and mouth gaping.

Still more guards were coming, and some were going, not wanting to be the next victims....

The doors behind the man at the head of the table busted open. Guards pored in. They never even had a change of heart thanks to the man before them dropping dead instantly as soon as he walking through the door. Ladro's weapon's barrel was smoking hot in his hand. An elderly humanoid sitting at the head of the table was shitting his pants. He was being saved for last. A sacrificial delight for the comrade who was screaming out his joy through laughter. The same experience was releasing pure ecstasy into Ladro's veins but the assassin within held his tongue.

Face after face moved through the double doors. Fast twitch muscle fibers and tendons were responding with extreme pace and precision. The assassin's right outstretched arm was weaving the blaster in a pattern of death. Blood was beginning to pool beneath the dead carcasses of guards while it flowed down the walls. All in all thirty seconds of continuous firing was what it took for hope to be all but lost within their enemies. Silence except for the sobbing tears from the old man in a luxurious suit gripped his ears. The moment caught the true experience for him. True fear had taken over the board member like none of the others had felt. LAdro walked down the table menacingly while heavy steps fell one after another. He stopped right in front of the man. His eye looking down on him.
"Execute this son of a queen." [member="Soulfire Ticon"]

As the last body hit the floor the saber faded, and Soulfire whirled on his heels. Determined strides took him right through the double doors to witness the destructive quality of his partners work. They were like peas in a a pod. Not much for words, but all for killing.

When the words left Ladro's mouth Soulfire nodded silently and stepped up onto the table. Black boots and white robes whirled in the wake of his passing a sense of dread began to paralyze the old man. The sounds of Soulfires steps marked the drums of doom for him. Within arms reach he paused, black eyes glaring out from beneath the hood.

"You reek of fear and piss old man. come let us end your misery."

Soulfires outstretched hand trembled as the old man was lifted from his seat. From deep in place ebneath the surface a silent rage poured out from Soulfire, lighting a blaze around his body.

As the man wretched and struggled against the invisible tendrils of the force, he held firm, choking the life from im. His eyes bugged, and his heart thumped, trying to force oxygen which was never to come. In the last second of his life he reached for the holdout blaster at his hip, but it was no use. With a simple wave of Soulfires hand and dose of concentration the vertebrae of his neck snapped, killing him instantly.

"The deed is done Partner. What now?" He asked in a casual tone. Beyond the walls of the palace he could sense a disturbance brewing...

Indeed everything had been done. Video footage had been captured during the slaughter and the final sacrifice was all that had been left to gain. Jumping down from the table with a soft thud caused some splatter to shoot out. Pools of blood had gathered deeper than others on the floor. A micro-detonator was placed on the foreheads of the board members. Walking in a sea of blood brought a strange sinister smile to his face. The doorway was open and charred blood stained walls lined the hallway that he moved into. The reasoning for his exploding the faces off of the dead was due to it being in his best interest to remain anonymous. His suits jammer had taken care of cameras but if any eyes caught the two of them their would be a reason to chase people and fingers could be pointed. Things his client wanted nothing to do with but were surely unavoidable. If fingers had to be pointed why not make sure the direction was far from your own skin? Swift running strides took him down the hall a ways before he threw his weight into a door on his right. He had remembered where he had come out from in the very beginning.

The room they ran through was char colored thanks to the detonation that had covered the tracks of his crime. Running out onto the balcony showed the planets three moons rising together out on the oceans horizon. A sight he would have loved to remain witnessing but action was already being taken. Ladro climbed up onto the railing and jumped catching the balcony above him. Pulling himself up again once more brought him balancing on the metal rails. He looked behind him to check on his comrad who was keeping up nicely. Legs twitched sending him into full sprinting stride, four per balcony, while thy ran across the face of the massive resort. South East corner corner getting closer and closer. "Trust and you will be received!" Boots hit the very corner of the railing and Ladro dove spread eagle outwards into the open night sky before vanishing. Not waiting to see if his ally had followed the ENGAGE command on his holovid scanned across following his eyes before another detonation could be heard within the building.

Soulfire was mostly using the force to keep his balance. Every step was measured, pre envisioned. Every leap force enhanced to stick his landings. Normally a fearless pirate lord and savage Dark Jedi when he saw his partner take a leap off the balcony he paused.

The pause was not fear, but contemplation. Where had he gone? Why had he jumped.

As another explosion ripped the building and the sounds of soldiers massing about on nearby streets began to grow, Soulfire decided this was not the time for thought on the matter. Throwing all caution to the winds he got a running start and somersaulted off the exact spot the other man had, falling into the night....

Momentum. Momentum was what it felt like slamming into his body which didn't hurt thanks to his armor but he hadn't seen the Pirate take the leap of faith. So the result was both men laying on the floor of a Coronet Durasteel private camouflaged vessel where they had landed. The pilot spoke through his comm, "Package acquired." while hitting controls and taking the vessel into a dead sprint out over the ocean. Ladro began to visually manipulate his holoscreen to scan through his memory drive. Footage was copied, two sets were always needed when it came to information, then filed away on his private memory storage where no one could find or hack. Work always came first but then again when your jobs paid upward 300 million credits for a nights worth of work why complain.
"Pleasure doing business with you. This shuttle is going to take us back to the Capital City where we will receive the final portion of our payment and have the chance to lay low for a few hours. If you have any wounds from past jobs or due to this present venture they will address those for you. After that you will be given a ride off planet on a Coronet Durasteel vessel as a crew member and from there you will be in control of where you are dropped off."

Deeply satisfied Soulfire kicked back and enjoyed the ride. As tey came into their final port he rose from his silent spot and turned to Ladro.

"How much do we each get?"

With a sum this hefty he could buy a whole damned ship. Which was only a part of his intentions, the other half was to upgrade his existing vessels.

Soulfire waited as the docking tubes unrolled, black eyes scanning the scene, and keeping note of possible threats. It was time to get paid...

"We will soon find out." Came the response to the question through partially opened but not moving lips. A woman was standing on the launch pad waiting for the men who had just sealed her families wealth for the remainder of their days. Moving towards her after landing with a sense of ease was all on the surface. Underneath the gears were turning and turning. It was who he was. He could no easier turn it off than feel the force everyone raved about constantly. Stopping only a few feet from her and looking up to show his face allowed their eyes to meet. Her features were stern and he could tell that she wanted nothing more to do with them. "The payments have gone through. Shuttles await you." the manner in which she spoke was stern and controlled. In her eyes she held the power. Everyone made these false assumptions. Ladro looked to his side where his partner stood, "Don't you feel like we should have gotten more. I mean splitting a measly 150 mill isn't worth what we just did right? Especially considering the fact she now stands to make trillions in the next standard year alone, right?" the questions were rhetorical. Eyes caught the woman's again. She was far from pleased. "Black mailing someone in a position of power such as mine is unwise. This is not good business." "Tell that to your board members." Ladro's dry tone spoke volumes. The woman's already strong posture tightened another notch. "You will receive only what we agreed upon." "No you are going to give us exactly what we want or this will go to every news corp from here to Coruscant." Ladro removed the memory stick from his hood and tossed it to the lady. Expressionless features on the woman's face turned to horror as the clips from their endeavor played before her eyes. "How dare you show this to me." "You might want to pay attention to the fact that we are no where to be found in this footage and you are suspect number one. Even if you aren't convicted for the crime your life will be over."
The woman's face remained blank and silence fell on the air for a few moments longer than average. She had been bested. "You will receive your payment if and only if you have given me the only copy of the footage." "Deal." Her hands began to move across her holopad that was held securely with one hand. A few precautionary procedures and an awkward wait before an update showed on his hoods screen stating the recent transfer of 900 million credits just hit his bank account. "Now where was it that we will be finding our shuttles?" Ladro said in a friendly tone while walking past the woman who's scoul would have killed him where he stood had she been born a force user.
