- Block This!: The bolts fired by particle beam blasters explode upon contact with solid objects or energy fields, meaning even a blocked bolt is potentially capable of injuring the blocker.
- Quick-Draw Friendly: The light weight of the Marshal allows it to be drawn and fired quickly, which can be a lifesaver for many a lawman.
- Kicks Like Whiskey: The Marshal's light weight means less counterbalance to offset the force generated from the powerful particle beam bolts, resulting in higher-than-average recoil.
- Ammo-Hungry: The low capacity of the pistol, far below the standard 50 shots of a DL-44, means that reloading in a protracted firefight will happen often.
The latest addition to Morellian Mechanica's line of blaster pistols, the CV-94 was designed to commemorate one of the Outer Rim's old legends, Cobb Vanth. Modeled on Vanth's own HF-94 heavy blaster pistol, the affectionately nicknamed "Mos Pelgo Marshal" is a hard-hitting particle beam blaster pistol designed for the lawman who needs to stop a perp in their tracks, whether they be a vibro-shiv-wielding thug or a saber jockey drunk on the dark side. The particle beams fired by the Marshal are more powerful than your average blaster bolt and react with explosive bursts when they make contact against solid objects or energy fields, making them much more useful against a lightsaber-wielding foe, and the scope, about equivalent in magnification to that of a DL-44's, allows the pistol to be used at longer ranges, while the weapon's lighter weight allows its wielder to draw it faster than they would be able to with a heavier pistol, like Morellian Mechanica's own Mule.
This power is not without its downsides, of course. The power of each blast means the rylith power cells must be replaced every six shots, and the weapon's light weight means less weight to offset the recoil. It wouldn't be Morellian Mechanica without a little flourish, and in the Marshal's case that flair is a comfortable synthwood grip that can be replaced with a variety of genuine woods at the buyer's request. All in all, Morellian Mechanica is confident that Vanth would approve of the weapon commemorating him.
