The CZ-836 Assault Rifle was designed to be the first of Czerka Arms' new line of products. The purpose of this line is to provide a capable competitor to the energy-based weaponry which has dominated the Galactic Market for quite some time. As such, the CZ-836 is adequately equipped to act as a standard-issue assault rifle for the various militant factions across the Galaxy; in addition to being an exceptional personal defense/offense weapon. As a whole, the CZ-836 is a high-powered slugthrower whose strength lies in its penetration abilities. In fact, when utilized within its effective range, a well-placed spray of rounds can penetrate a 3/8" inch plate of pure durasteel. Furthermore, another strength lies in the availability of a variety of Slug types to get the job done, regardless of the opponent or situation.
However, this weapon is not without its drawbacks. To begin, when compared to a blaster rifle, the CZ-836 relies upon physical ammunition and has a magazine size of thirty round. While, in the context of a slugthrower, this particular sum of rounds is a relatively decent sum; when compared to blaster rifles there is an incredibly large gap due to blasters being able to fire hundreds of rounds without carrying around numerous cartridges of ammunition. Despite this, the CZ-836 has a strong selling point in the fact that it is versatile, reliable, and has a large number of optional attachments which suit a variety of scenarios. The assault rifle can house a single scope, a single front-mounted attachment, and a single underslung armament at a time.
It is to be noted that this weapon is classified as select fire and boasts three firing modes. The first of which is semi-automatic, followed by three-round burst, followed by single-shot.
