DESCRIPTION
Czerka has gone through different business models throughout the years with various levels of success. But in reality it hasn’t quite come back from its destruction at the hands of corporate intrigue about a decade ago and has been floundering ever since.
Last year a corporate meeting between the remaining stakeholders was held and a new strategy developed. It was decided to step out of the oversaturated market of weaponry and instead focus on one of the eldest branches in their history.
The prospecting and exploitation business.
It was quietly decided to reconnect with several old contacts.
Bounty hunters, mercenaries, the occasional mapping organization and the reactivation of several mining concerns that have been laid dormant for the past few years. All of this put together allows Czerka some space to maneuver in an increasingly more competitive market, give them more leeway when dealing with undiscovered planetoids and options when the criminal underworld mixes with their business.
As a result they have also decided to rebrand away from Czerka Arms and reassume their old name of Czerka Mining and Industrial. To signify new beginnings and opportunities
RATIONALE
The Czerka Mining and Industrial concern focuses mostly on the exploitation of resources and assets it discovers. It’s official mission statement and the PR department mostly shifts that into an organization that focuses wholly on the uplifting of uncivilized regions and establishing civilization wherever it goes, giving galactic society a hold-out in the wilderness of undiscovered space.
Most of its legal revenue flows from several mining districts owned and operated on Barab I and the industrial zones on Nar Shaddaa. Furthermore, Czerka owns large waste disposal units on the moonlet, which grants an additional source of revenue.
The shares are split 10% to the employees, 39% publicly traded and held by several trusts and 51% by a council of private individuals.
