- Mini Power Cell Slugs - These unique ammunitions power the weapon during use, sending energy to all needed parts once trigger is pulled.
- Dissipation chambers - each blaster boasts 6 dissipation chambers, 3 on each side of the barrel. Energy is intentionally and safely dispensed through these chambers during use, which counters the recoil and reduces it significantly.
- Stopping Force - These blasters are known for having an extreme damage output, meaning that you don't want to be on the receiving end of one of these, even if you are wearing armor.
- What Recoil? - Due to the intelligent design which utilized dispense chambers, 90% of the recoil is dissipated, meaning that not only are the blasts heavy hitting, but that firing this weapon is also incredibly easy on the user with minimal recoil experienced during firing.
- Small Stature - It is a small and light weapon, easy to hide discreetly.
- Dormant - The weapon only requires a quick blast of energy while being fired to operate, meaning that when not in use, there is no active technology that needs to be powered.
- Wasteful - In order to achieve the reduced recoil, a significant amount of energy is dissipated. This means that a significant amount of the energy in the Mini Power Cell Slug's simply goes directly into the dissipation chambers.
- Costly Ammo - While not exorbitant, the cost of these Mini Power Cell Slugs is not cheap.
- Capacity - Each blaster can only hold 6 rounds at a time.
- Loud - A very elegant and concealable weapon... until it is fired.
A Notorious Pirate, famously referred to as "Tatooine's Wild Fire" that goes by the moniker "Savage", was owed a significant debt by a high-ranking engineer within the Morellian Weapons Conglomerate. The Engineer galvanized his team of engineers in an effort to design a unique pair of weapons for the flamboyant pirate, hoping that such a gift would satisfy his debt. These weapons are now referred to by their unique model name: D-1 VOID. Only two ever produced, there is some unique design and technological concepts at play, most notably being how small and concealable these weapons are despite their heavy hitting power. Such was achieved by not including and area for a power cell, as none would be needed. Instead, the weapon would be powered by it's ammunition, Mini Power Cell Slugs, or MPCS ("m-picks"). When fired, the energy is immediately dispersed to a variety of systems. Much of the energy is channeled directly into the weapons Dissipation Chambers, which released the energy safely out the sides of the weapon in the opposite direction of the natural pull of recoil. This process drastically reduces recoil and greatly improves the firing experience. Most of the energy is translated into a very powerful and loud energy blast that would knock most things right off its feet. Ammo capacity is limited of coarse, with only 6 rounds being loadable at a time in a revolver-type system.
The Weapons proved to be worth enough to compensate for the debt of the engineer, Savage being truly mesmerized by them. They remained his primary carry until the day that he was shot dead by a brilliant gunslinger in a duel. The gunslinger took the prized weapons and held them in his own armory for numerous years, until deciding to part with them as he gave them as a gift to Dominik Borra, a trusted and respected associate.
