Description:
The Z-7 was manufactured by KSLH - with backing from Taobh Dorcha Industries - and mass-produced to give KSLH a maintenance/repair droid to be sold on the market for anyone who employs starships but not starfighters. It's main function is to conduct repairs on ships that include repairing computers, making repairs to broken/damaged equipment, and to run a maintenance tests on computers and equipment. It can not conduct major repairs that involve using hand held tools. The droid is best suited for ships.
The droid cannot be uploaded to starfighters that utilize the aid of astromechs. It is an atsromech droid but it does not possess the ability to communicate with sentient species, only computers. Since the droid has no shielding or a weapon system, it should not be out in a position where it can be easily destroyed. However, it does posses a repair programming that can aid it in making small to minor repairs to itself.
