Strengths:
- Assistant Suite: Darcy has full access to an array of assistance programs typically found in protocol droids, allowing her to place calls, receive them, make notes, take holorecordings, ETC.
- Systems Access: Darcy has access to the Sensors and Security systems of whatever ship/armor she inhabits.
- Network Relocation Protocol: Darcy can move between servers, allowing her to relocate to the most convenient location.
- Combat/Tactical Analysis: Darcy is capable of analyzing combat scenarios and make tactical recommendations on both ground and space engagements.
- Data Analysis: Darcy is capable of analyzing data and assembling relevant entries into an easier to process format.
- Medical Analysis: Darcy is capable of reading Medical data, and assessing a patient's condition based on this information.
- Facial Recognition: Darcy is capable of referencing faces from cameras/sensors against a database and matching the relevant data with exceptional accuracy.
Communications Capabilities: Darcy is capable of accessing Communications protocols to both access Holonet information, as well as send and receive Holocalls.
Multiple Server Locations: Darcy has a number of servers accessible, and can be moved between them at will.
- Server Based: Darcy is based within a selection of servers, limiting her range to the broadcast capabilities of the server.
- Manual Move: Darcy cannot automatically transfer to a different server, and must be moved manually.
- Jamming Issues: Because Darcy is broadcast from a central server, Jamming signals can cause interference in her functionality.
- Limited Presence: Darcy is capable of interacting with multiple users at once, but no more than three.
- Loyal: The AI is coded to be loyal to Voph, and will refuse any orders that can be translated to specifically target him, or a designated list of allies.
Shortly after being appointed High Councilor of Vylmira, Voph was approached by John Locke with the proposition to construct a Locke and Key Mechanics facility on one of the uninhabited moons of Vylmira. Voph agreed, under one condition: He wanted Locke and Key to design an AI for his personal use. Locke agreed, and began work on the AI, as well as retrofitting the available Octarchy ships to host it.
Darcy was designed to be an aid to Voph, both in combat, and in his daily tasks as High Councilor of Vylmira. With female programming and a relaxed Imperial accent, Darcy is both a blend of proper and snarky, the latter being programmed in by the request of an unknown individual upon learning that the AI was intended for Voph. She displays the proper behaviors and procedures when speaking with dignitaries or nobility, or during combat encounters, but often takes a relaxed and snarky attitude during the downtime.
Designed to host on a dedicated server, Darcy can interface with armors and ships alike, provided they have either a server host, or an uplink that the server can broadcast to. Her connection to the Holonet allows for access to a wide array of databases beyond those aboard the ship she is hosted on. Though her capabilities are only beginning to be explored, Darcy has already begun to prove an invaluable asset to the Octarchy, and Vylmira as a whole.
