Rationale: After spending several years working as an engineer in research and development for other firms, Sunny Lee decided that it was time to begin putting her energy towards her own projects. She spent some time developing ideas for her own technical textiles, and eventually took the plunge into creating her own enterprise. It took two years to fully realize and bring the company into the market. However, it was worth the wait to ensure that Daehan Industries had a solid foundation to build on. The company was named for her late brother, Daehan Lee.

The company has forged many local government contracts, and is proud to manufacture products that are used in support of their troops, medical, and government agencies. Daehan has a solid reputation with vendors and partners, and is steadily increasing resources to meet the commitments made to their customers.
In terms of textiles, Daehan creates anything from armored vests to delicate medical implants. Their textile mill is equipped to process natural fibers, and produce their own synthetic fibers. The research and development division in Sejong, Seoul is constantly working to develop new concepts and compounds to round out their product lines.

While Daehan Industries has the ability to produce standard fashion fabrics, most of their work specializes in technical textiles that are manufactured for their performance and functional properties. At this time, the company’s various locations are spread throughout Seoul. However, with the arrival of the First Order, Daehan Industries is looking to expand throughout their territory.
