Dagobah Interference

[Felran Natri]

Ah Dagobah, one of the few places where Felran could be in tune with himself and the force. His saber staff was in pieces, floating around the Zabrak. The pieces orbited around him like if he was a star and the pieces were planets. Felran grinned, this is the few places where he enjoyed the silence and peace. Felran's grin turned into a frown as he sensed someone in the area. A force user? No. Just remain focused.

Hoping over a puddle and then another, letting out a whine of displeasure as she sank thigh deep into a brown mix of mud, twigs and who knows what else, Jedi Padawan Lirielith Zari truged through the endless swamps of Dagobah. "Go herb gathering they said.. It'll be a good adventure, they said.. Ugh. It's gotten into my boots.." A few bats flew away from the branches of the nearby trees after the Jedi protested, causing her to flinch.

After much struggling she reached the glowing mushroom cluster. "Now, not to inhale.." She took in a deep breath and then got closer and began to pick up the mushrooms with care, placing them in a bag.

The saberstaff slowly formed together, as the last piece fit into place Felran heard a voice in the distance. The focus was broken and the saberlanded onto the rock. Felran sighed "Every single time I come here to relax, it's ended by someone." The saberstaff flew towards him, landing into his hand. The sith jumped from the boulder he was on and landed in the murky water below. As he trudged through the swamp the voice got clearer. A girl? And no hatred or fear to be sensed. Felran reached his destination and looked through the large entanglement of vines, he was correct, it was a girl.

Lirielith continued wandering the swamp, peering down at the datapad in her right hand, staring at the next herb on her list and the information about it. She waited as the device scanned the area and then showed her in a map where the nearest of that herb was, and then went on. Focused on her task, she tried to avoid going into the murky waters, hopping with some agility between rocks. She shrieked when one of the "rocks" she stepped on tried to bite her, rapidly hopping off it with a little bit of help from the force to go higher and farther than she normally did. When she landed on a mossy batch she was panting lightly. She was catching her breath when the sensation lightly became noticeable for her. She quirked an eyebrow. A force user somewhere nearby, perhaps another Padawan she thought!

Felran grinned slightly Definitely a Force User, the question still stands though. What is she doing?" Felran followed the girl carefully making sure he didn't step on any of the wildlife. The zabrak slowly inched along until he felt a disturbance. Oh no...... Out from the vines, a large swamp slug slithered towards the Sith. "I DONT KARKING HAVE TIME FOR YOU!" Felran ignited the top blade of his saberstaff as force lighting danced across his other hand.

Lirielith turned her head towards the yelling and blinked her eyes, starting to jog that way, concerned for the person in the swamp. She jumped up with the help of the Force unto a branch of a tree and peered around and jumped to the branches of another tree and stumbled upon the sight of the Zabrak. She hopped down and then rushed over to try and use the force to throw a small rotten tree limb at the beast, mostly a distraction rather than actual harm. "Careful! Try to get away from it!..." She seemed obviously intimidated by the sight of the "monster" and seemed uneager to get closer, somewhat nervous and trying to help from a distance. She was wearing typical brown and white robes that Padawans were commonly dressed in. Though she was slightly muddied from the waist down, the young Jedi seemed delicately arranged, a necklace on her neck, and her hair carefully braided in a feminine way.

Felran looked towards the girl and then back to the slug. "Sorry, my ancestor would be disappointed if I just ran from this slug! He reached out towards the slug, causing a barrage of force lighting to arch towards the swamp slug. The slug twisted and shook as the lighting went into it. "Come on! I didn't hurt you that bad did I?" The slug quickly arched its 'head' towards the Zabrak if it was angry and charged as fast as it could towards him.

The Padawan clung to the tree who's branch she was standing on and yelled down at the Zabrak "It's probbaly just being defensive of it's territory, you don't have to kill it!" She seemed a bit unsure if to go down and help not very eager to face down such a foe when they could just leave. She hopped down after a moment and stayed close by incase he needed aid. For now, she seemed oblivious over him being a Sith. (Unless he was wearing obviously sith-like clothes!)

Felran smiled as the slug was lifted from the ground by the force. Felran lifted the swamp slug higher and higher until he let go, causing it to slam back down. Felran jumped up onto its head and dived the blade of his saberstaff into the beast, instantly killing it. The Sith took deep breaths and rose from the corpse "I never back down from a fight." He steeped of the body and moved towards [member="Lirielith Zari"] "What's your name?"

Lirielith flinched as the beast fell down and, nearly stumbling and then frowning with some displeasure and sadness at the dead beast. "Lirielith, and you?" she said quietly. "Did they send you to gather herbs too?" She kept a bit of distance from the Zabrak in a coy way.

Felran laughed "I am Felran Natri, and who are you talking about? I came here by shuttle to relax." The saberstaff's ignited blade went back into the hilt and Felran buckled it back into his belt.

"...Oh, huh. Really? Well, I suppose the solitude can be somewhat relaxing.. I guess.." She held her hands together in front of herself. "Do you plan on staying here for long?" The young padawan took a few steps towards Felran. She turned to look around the swamp making sure they weren't going to be a swamp slug's dinner any time soon.

"No, I was going to leave after mediation was complete anyway. Why do you ask?" The zabrak kicked the slug corpse and chuckled slightly.

"I brought some food, more than enough just to be safe. I was wondering if you would like any." She frowns lightly at the kick. "I suppose you brought some bug repellent like I did, otherwise meditating must have taken much focus!" She smiles a little bit and reaches for her datapad to look for where the herb she's looking for is at.

Felran had to laugh "No, I did not bring bug repellent. Its better to train in the harshest way and tune your self to the force." Felran hummed as he twirled his saberstaff in mid air.

"..And you wouldn't like some food?" She motioned at her satchel, which did look a bit stuffed with containers and vacuum flasks. "I even brought some pumpkin spice latte if you're fond of that, I know a lot of people are." She timidly looked up at the Zabrak before taking a peek at her datapad, which beeped as the nearest herb appeared on its screen.

Felran shook his head "The force gives me all I need to survive. So what is a young girl like you doing in Dagobah?" The sith sat down on the corpse

[Valeria]

"Well, since the Council thinks it's good for us padawans to go out on adventures, I asked a few Jedi Masters what would be a good thing of that sort to do, and I they suggested I came here to gather some rare herbs that are starting to lack over in the Academy. I'm hoping I finish before the sun sets so I don't have to camp.. But I don't know if that will be the case." She seemed a bit uncomfortable with Falran being uncovered on his chest and avoided looking at him or at the slain beast. She didn't seem pleased with the corpse and him sitting on it!

"The...Jedi......council?" Felran gave a blank expression for a moment before going back to his senses "So, how many more herbs do you need?" A Padawan huh? She could be possibly converted.

"Hm.. I think I need two more and that'll be all.." The young Jedi clicks on her datapad's screen. "Yes, I need two more and I'll be done. There should be one nearby says the datapad. ..And um, it's nice to meet you. I didn't expect to run across anyone here." She carefully places the databad in her satchel and peers shyly at Felran for a moment. "Are you a Jedi Master, sir?"
