"Dray" Therin

  • Age: 26
  • Species: Pantoran
  • Gender: Female
  • Height: 160cm
  • Weight: 57kg
  • Force Sensitive: Mildly So
  • Eye colour: Yellow
  • Hair colour: Pink
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Data Security and Behavioral Science, Enarc Institute; Master's Degree in Political Science, Teed University
  • Current role: Field Agent, Republic Intelligence Bureau
  • Faction: Royal Naboo Republic

Profile:
As purported, Agent Therin is a confident and astute young woman. She carries herself with a poise and grace that is more akin to a Naboo Royal than a transplant into our culture. She has keen attention to detail, and a surprisingly disarming personality.

Soft spoken, yet firm and confident in tone, I got the general impression that she is well used to controlling whatever turmoil may reside within. It is important to note to later reference that, in my judgment, there is indeed turmoil beneath the surface. She is an expert in hiding her true feelings and intentions.

I note from her records that she spent time learning from the Daughters of the Scar. This explains why my empathic senses were unable to see much beyond what Agent Therin would permit. This makes her an extremely good candidate for further field work, though regular evaluations would be recommended, specifically if she were willing to submit to clinical hypnotherapy.

She is hard to read, and as such I can only recommend caution going forward.

Physical:
Agent Therin possesses many qualities that would be considered attractive. So far as traditional feminine dimensions are concerned, hers are above adequate to gain the attention of targets. Should she have adequate funding and support, she would be able to pull the attention of any high profile target at even the most prestigious event.

She keeps her hair short. When asked about this, she simply answered that she liked the look. I cannot disagree.

So far as her facial structure, she has an innocence and youthful femininity to her. This may prove useful with regard to wealthy, yet aged, targets. Her youthfulness would also see her fit in well with some of the grassroots youth movements that have been of concern lately.

Although not overtly strong, she is skilled enough to complete the agent trial course in the 90th percentile. I would not yet recommend her for missions requiring combat, but her martial training is progressing and she is a fierce competitor.

Strengths:
Keen intellect - I have met few agents with the sharpness of mind and attention to detail as Agent Therin. It would not surprise me if she was later considered a once in a generation talent.
Emotional control - Despite a tempest that I am convinced brews beneath the surface, Agent Therin is the most composed and controlled individual I have met in some time. Even her laugh seems prearranged to convey a specific intended emotion.
Computing - Agent Therin is as much an asset in the office as she is in the field. She seems to understand code like it was Galactic Basic.

Weaknesses:
Personal Identity - I am not convinced that Agent Therin knows who she really is. She is so good at acting, that I wonder if she has lost herself in the script.
Ticking time bomb - Whatever is beneath the surface will come out at some point. It will be our responsibility to manage her so that we get the best without creating the worst.
Superiority - I sense a degree of disdain that she holds for people she considers beneath her. She hides it well, like most things, but I am concerned that this may develop into full blown narcissism.

Background:
Her file indicates that Therin was born in [REDACTED] on Enarc. This could be something to look into. They are not known for their star pupils. Her parents are listed as deceased, as a result of an accident in her third year of university studies. I cannot say definitively, but it may be this residual trauma is what I sense beneath the surface.

Her family life seems to have been fairly uneventful, aside from one incident. When she was nine, Therin contacted emergency services to report possible domestic violence. It was later deemed that Therin had made a false accusation, no charges were laid.

She was valedictorian of her graduating class both during her secondary and tertiary schooling. The second of those should be considered of extra note as she worked to this status even through the loss of her parents.

Her master's degree seems to have not been given the same attention, as she had already been recruited by the Republic Intelligence Bureau and had begun work with the cyber security division. She still graduated with honours, despite what appears a lack of focus on this degree.

She seems to have quickly impressed with her security subroutine work, finding numerous trojan horses with Royal security databases. Rumours persist that she won the unofficial, yet prestigious, though highly illegal 'Royal Pea Data Breach Tourney'. This underground tournament is purported to pit programmers against each other to find each other's code within the Royal Mainframe.

When asked how she managed to win this competition, Agent Therin denied involvement, but suggested also that not all programming had to be done remotely. I would suggest reviewing security measures around the Royal Mainframe, just in case she found a breach.

She moved into analyst duties after highlighting that behaviour of certain attempt data breaches had common signatures. We were able to apprehend the offender due to Therin's assessment. She quickly became one of the foremost analysts studying the unseen threats to our security.

It was apparent that she was not meant to be behind a desk, and her aspirations refused to accept it either. Therin pursued field work with the same passion that she had given all other endeavours. Having passed her field training, and now with a few smaller missions under her belt, she seems poised for greater things.

Recommendations:
Challenges - Agent Therin must be constantly challenged to keep her engaged with her work. If there is no challenge, she may seek the challenge elsewhere.
Companionship - In order to break through the walls she has put up, I would recommend assigning, or nudging, an agent toward the end of giving Therin an interpersonal connection to help her work through her trauma. She mentioned several names of people she has met through the programme, though none she would call friends.
Further combat training - She is physically capable of more, but needs further training. Perhaps both of the previous two can be accomplished within this third recommendation.
