Description:
Designed in house by Damoriann to replace the expensive Halcyon they worked to make deals for. The Damorian SLAM is built as a duel system with the solar panels designed to collect energy to store for the accelerator booster able to double the speed of the ships it is used on. Unlike the overdrive banks of the star destroyers that charged weapons it does not.
Nor does it draw as much energy from ship weapons having a second power source. The work on the slam from Damorian is to make it smaller and more compacted to fit in starfighters or capital ships increasing in size as needed with the amount of panels used increasing. The smallest is designed for a small fighter or airspeeder of sufficient size.
In starfighters and speeders without access to using the solar panels a secondary power cell and energy recycler are generally used to create small bursts of accelerated speed over using the power until it is drained. Isis has worked with the Halcyon style reactors for their swift class and the Rac to hopefully make a likable product that sells.
