Diovalin in winter was a realm of ice and frost, of snow-covered trees and frozen lakes, so it was no wonder that it’s inhabitants loved the snow. So much so that they wanted to share them with their guests, with the strangers who found their way into that magical wonderland. As welcoming and playful as they were, they knew that to fall in love with the snow in the same way they had you would have to really experience it first hand.
It was a labour of love more than anything, the smiths crafting the beautiful jewellery they could add that touch of magic that would let their guests experience the ice. But, tricksters they were, nothing was ever so simple. That power would quickly drain, and to return it...you had to return the light and warm to recharge.
One way or another, they’d get you to love playing in that snow.
