Dancing with Death is Fun, but a Little Slow

Gray stretched as he got to the spaceport in Coruscant yet again. The shuttle pilot had gotten familiar with him by this point and was pretty nice to him this time around. That might be in part though from the fact he was actually NOT in his armor as he got off the civilian shuttle for once. He had to deal with frightened citizens and paranoid police officers too much whenever he came here. He thought they would have been more use to him by this point, but they weren't. He headed out of the gate and headed towards his new romping grounds on this planet, the Entertainment district. Who didn't love a good drink and pretty girls after all?

Gray was walking down the street with his leather duster covering his gray tunic and pants, both trimmed in dark blue. His armored boots were on his feet and his gauntlets on his hands still because he had seen a few too many fights break out and people always wanted to stomp a foot or stab a hand. His blaster pistol was strapped to his right leg as always also. He wasn't sure how intimidating he looked in his mostly casual clothes, but he certainly wasn't getting the amount of attention he got when in his armor.

"You can shove this place up your ass"

Aurelia's crude demand echoed through the street causing people to turn and scorn at a young girl saying such things. Another long day at the evening bar she worked at had ended and like always the conclusion was an argument with her boss. This time the argument stemmed from her boss's disapproval of her attitude. In all honesty, Aurelia was becoming bored of what she did so this caused her to often be quite blunt and sarcastic with the bars customers even when they simply wanted to compliment her.

Aurelia's boss scoffed at her and closed the door causing her to childishly stick her tounge out at him. Not wanting to wait around at her place she left in the outfit she danced in that night which was a short white sparkly dress which she had covered with a short white fur coat.
Letting out a deep sigh Aurelia turned and began to make her way down the street rather quickly, this place could get pretty messy at this time of night. When walking down the street a drunk man propositioned Aurelia which she would usually just ignore but her temper had flared so she commanded him to "get lost", this did not sit well with the man so he began to follow. Aurelia noticed the time and let out a moan, if she did not hurry up she would miss the shuttle bus home. With that Aurelia decided to take a dark alley which was usually a good shortcut unaware that the man had followed her down it/

Gray wasn't sure where he wanted to go tonight, so he began to wander around aimlessly. He began to think of everything that had been going on lately and had to admit that it wasn't going so bad so far. He had only almost died once recently which was a big improvement from once a week. He eventually found himself turning down an alleyway which was a little too dark for anyone's safety. As he walked down it, he noticed a figure coming his way. Wait that wasn't just a figure, it was a curvy figure in a white coat. Now that got his attention away from his thoughts. Gray was about to say something when he noticed a second figure behind the woman. He didn't like the looks of that. He popped his duster to straighten it out and moved toward the woman.

Gray said as he got close with a smile on his face, " Honey bear, what are you doing taking the short cut? I told you I would come pick you up. It isn't safe out at night for pretty young things like you. You never know who might be following you." He shot a stern look towards the man that said 'walk away or else' for a brief moment before he was back to looking at the woman with a friendly smile.

Aurelia was not paying much attention to her surroundings at all, she was wondering down this alley with her arms folded tightly across her stomach and staring at the ground. The girl at this point was in a world of her own and was barely present herself causing the two men in the alley to escape her notice. Her day dreaming was cut short however hearing the words "honey bear"

"huh?"

Aurelia said as she snapped out of her gaze and stared up at the tall man who spoke to her. She stared at the friendly looking man for a few moments and then registered his sentenced.

"Oh, yeah i think you have the wr..."

Aurelia's sentence was cut short with the sound of footsteps behind her. Aurelia sharply turned around to see the same drunk ass from earlier. She stared at him with a widened expression for a moment then a light switched on in her head and she put two and two together.

"Oh yes i forgot....um...darling"

However this did not stop the man from approaching with an angry expression. Aurelia knew this meant trouble so she slowly backed up until she was standing next to the man.

Gray was glad the woman caught on to what he was doing, but a little disappointed the guy didn't. He looped his arm around her arm and was happy she decided to stand on his left instead of his right side. He looked to the drunken man and said, " We are going to be blocking the alley for a bit, I suggest you turn around and head out the way you came. It would be in your best interest. The very best of your interest." He slipped his hand down to the hilt of his pistol and got ready to quick draw on the man if need be. He might have been able to just punch the man out, but he felt his hand on the gun got his point across better.

Gray turned to Aurelia while keeping an eye on the man and his hand on his gun as he said, " So honey, how was your night? I hope no one has given you too much trouble." He got a terrible idea into his head as he finished talking and couldn't help but add, " You just look so beautiful this evening, how about a little kiss for your big, strong man?" He winked at her and smiled mischiefly.

This was a situation that Aurelia had never came across before, the whole thing was confusing and a bit worrying. Aurelia stared at the drunken man approaching them, for once she actually felt scared which was not a common feeling for her. Suddenly she felt the man who towered over her make contact as he wrapped her arm around her causing her eyes to widen in surprise. The man spoke again warning the man to back off, Aurelia looked up at him then looked back at the drunken man confusingly nodding her head in agreement whilst failing to notice the pistol.

Aurelia looked back up at the man protecting her as he spoke. She was about to respond to his question when the request of a kiss caught her by surprise. She was already going along with the act so she decided to accept his request.

"yeah sure...darling"

Aurelia stood on her tip toes and pressed her soft lips against the mans cheek. The drunk finally got the message. He scoffed at the two, turned around and stumbled off. Aurelia pulled away and just stood in silence wondering what the hell had just happened.

Gray had done it. He had met his goal he had set when this situation had started. He had gotten her to kiss him! Okay, maybe that wasn't the actual goal so much as getting the drunk guy to back off but he his horrible plan for a kiss did work. He couldn't help but enjoy the success of both right now.

Gray smiled down to the woman as his hand left his pistol. He said after he had checked to make sure the man was actually gone, " Well honey, now that that man is gone. What might you name be pretty lady? Whatever it is I doubt it could ever be as beautiful as you are." He gave her a wink to go along with the smile.

Aurelia let out a deep sigh as the man left. That was the closest she had ever been to any sort of danger and she was not eager to experience it again. Aurelia's expression softened as the drunk left their sight and vanished into the night, she hoped she would never have to see him again.

Aurelia's attention quickly turned back to the man as he spoke, she left his side and stood directly in front of him staring him in the eyes. Aurelia would usually turn down this kind of chat but the man did pretty much just save her, so she decided to go with it.

"My name is Aurelia...thank you for the help by the way. that was pretty cool of you"

Aurelia continued to talk as a clock on a building caught her attention

"so what's your na-"

Her sentence cut off by the realization that her shortcut wasted her time.

"ugh crap, i have missed the last shuttlebus"

Gray wasn't sure why, but he felt like every woman he ran into was always so much shorter than he was that he ended up towering over them. It got very annoying at times when the other wanted to kiss him or even just dance with him and the difference in height got in the way of that. He just stood there studying her with a smile as she spoke to him. The mention of the shuttlebus being missed gave him an idea.

Gray said, " You missed your shuttle? Where do you need to go? We can find you another one that goes to there or close to it. This is Coruscant, the city of endless shuttling!" He gave her a smile and a wink after he added, " And if not, then I guess I can always just take you home with me."
