Biography: Dane was born on Alderaan to Bail and Freia Teraan. Bail was an ex-military officer and a member of the Church of the Force, while Freia was a medical nurse who tended to the wounded after battles, which is where the two met after the former was wounded in the knee. Both of them were very happy with their lives and what they had accomplished, of which Dane was the culmination. Freia joined her husband's church, and was all the more happy because of it. When they learned that their son was Force-sensitive and was to be a Jedi, the moment was bittersweet, because they knew that he would have to be taken away despite the glory that the Order had attained. On the night that the baby was to be taken to the Jedi Temple, a vicious Dark Jedi named Djek, who worked as a bounty hunter, broke into the Teraan household and killed Bail and Freia based upon their position in the Church. Just before he was about to kill the baby, a beautiful Twi'lek Jedi named Ponko'ket, who was sent to retrieve Dane, intervened, chasing off the Dark Jedi. She brought Dane back to the Temple, caring for him for a two-month period, though she died during a mission to Endor afterwards. The boy grew up in the Temple just as any Jedi would, and grew accustomed to training his body through a great amount of excercise throughout the years. The fact was, however, that there was still someone out there that was looking for him - the Dark Jedi that killed his parents. Meanwhile, Dane grew in age and strength, and eventually passed the Padawan Trials. Soon, it would be time for him to finally been paired with a Master, so his real training could begin.
