Allyson had messed up. There was no way around that, and the Corellian knew it. She sat in the middle of the room she had booked under a new alias, one that the SIA hadn't known about. She sat there and sighed softly, trying to gather herself. After breaking her bond with Kaili and accepting the identity that had gotten her into this mess, she felt more in control of her mental state for the time being. Nightmares continued to plague her, but she had been writing them down, keeping tabs. Allyson knew the nightmares weren't things that her mind was making up - they were all memories that she continued to deny.
Pacing in the hotel room, she held her hand to her chin. She continued to try and figure out a way out of her predicament, but no one in the Alliance would side with her, she had burned enough bridges there with the choices she made on Borosk. Part of her feared where she sat with Jorryn, but something was bonding them together as well. Only one person came to mind, only one person she knew she could reach out to.
Opening her hand's palm, she stretched her fingers, moving them to activate the direct line to the Echani woman. Jyoti had been her confidant for years, the woman being the only one who could ever find Allyson even when she fell off the grid. A part of her felt nervous contacting the woman; their line was secure primarily through the specialized comm Allyson had created with her cousin's help. She exhaled, trying to find the words, on how to explain everything.
Allyson moved to the mirror in the room and pressed her palm against it to open up the video comm feed. Allyson looked at herself and sighed, stress was starting to get to her. The device feed shot forward to alert Jyoti that Allyson was calling. The device was used only in the direst of situations or when Allyson decided she wanted to disappear into the unknown region as she did a few years back.
Pressing her lips together tightly, Allyson waited and then spoke, "Hi Jyoti. I hope things are well…" She paused and wondered if things would have been different if she stayed with Jyoti, helping out with the Enclave and just living a healthy life. Coulda met someone who probably wasn't the Lord Inquisitor of the Sith, though Allyson, after seeing another side of the woman, there wasn't much regret with her actions there. Her thoughts returned briefly to her, breaking the bond she had with Kaili, one the Corellian had held onto for so long. The wound still hurt, but a weight felt lifted - no longer was Allyson wondering or searching for the lost girl. She didn't want to be found, and Allyson had finally accepted that.
She continued, as her free hand pinched the bridge of her nose. "I really messed up, everything just metaphorically blew up in my face...I just really need a friend right now."
