Grim is more often than not found in his armour usually without his helmet on. A visible red tattoo is plastered on his nose and part of his face.

BIOGRAPHY:
BASIC INFO ON THE BLACKLAKE FAMILY AND ESTATE:
The Blacklake estate is a vast compound that sits on the edge of a lake which water's are black, it is a place where slaves are mentally and physically defeated, as well as a private training ground for those who are brave enough to learn from. The Blacklake family is well known for their donations to charities and the poor as well as their 5 well trained private guards who look over the family's activities and do their dirty work. To the public they seem like beacons of good, often helping the poor and other nobles freely.
-CHAPTER ONE: A Dark Secret-

Daniel Grim Blacklake second-born to Wallace and Kathleen Blacklake, two nobles who owned a large private estate from which they trained people to fight...Granted that they agree to a contract that binded them to the Blacklake's Training camp. From there, they'd force the participant to do grueling tasks that would strengthen their mind and bodies. Along with that, they'd train them in self defense and dirty fighting. Throughout the process they were subjected to much trainer participant brutality, trainers would often beat the participants to near death just to build up their pain tolerance. That was just the training, it was worse if you got caught up in their slave trading business.
They would often round up travelers from the spaceport kidnapping them and bringing them to the estate to be broken.
That was only what happened on the inside of the compound.
On the outside, the Blacklake family had the upmost respect from other nobles for their giant donations to the poor and even larger donations to anti slaver organisations. For years this was the process: If it was a group that needed to be trained, they'd train them.... Harshly. If there were travelers that they weren't expecting, they'd follow the head of the house's orders. Kidnap them, break their will to be free...Then sell them. Even way after their second and third child was born.
-CHAPTER TWO: Withstand-
"You have to be able to withstand punishment and deal it back twofold, or you'll never be able to stand up to those you hate..."- Angel Blacklake
Grim was ten when he first got roughed up by the other kids at the private academy he attended, even having the Blackwell name wasn't enough to stop the bullies. He came home with a black eye and a few bruises. Nobody noticed but his father who instantly lashed out at him and had thrown him through a glass table. Later when he was in his room, his brother visited. His brother was one of the trainers on the outside he was one of the people who beat initiates to near death. He broke slaves. He was his father's right hand. Yet on the inside he had a sense of compassion and was willing to to anything for his family. The eldest would utter one phrase: "You have to be able to withstand punishment and deal it back twofold, or you'll never be able to stand up to those you hate." That made the boy think.
The next day Grim made his decision and signed the Blacklake Initiate's Training contract. So would begin his journey.
-Chapter Three: Submit, Learn, Grow Stronger-
"Stay down, Listen and you live. Disobey and you die." - Trainer Axis
Trainer Axis was something else, he was a brute that only lived to torment those under his charge. It had been six years since he'd signed the contract...Six years of going to school, coming home and going straight to the training grounds where he would instantly take the role of one of the initiates where he'd go through the same training. The phrase was drilled into his head "Stay down, Listen you live. Disobey and you die." He lived by it. Any time an order was spoken, he would follow it. Soon the teen would learn the ins and outs of being a warrior and finally be released of the contract. His training took longer, way longer due to him being so young, and the training not being as harsh.
At school the teen would find other nobles staring at him, to the students there, Grim Blacklake had transformed from this wimpy kid to a cold hearted student that avoided everyone. He had changed enough to a point that people no longer bothered him.
In his heart this is not what he wanted.
