DESCRIPTION
Danthe Artifice, Ltd is a medium sized manufacturing company, which is aimed at producing a range of droid systems. These range from interfaces, personality matrixes, A.I neurological units and other complex internal systems. Additionally, the company has a side business that allows direct sales to consumers for persona chips. Danthe Artifice also completes research and development, working on complex engineering and technological pursuits, to perfect their droid-centric focuses. In the galaxy, few could claim to equal such a dedicated and developed company, when discussing internal droid functionality and system components.
As a subsidiary and major contractor of Arakyd Industries, Danthe Artifice is largely controlled by its parent corporation when it comes to development cycles or direction. While Arakyd Industries tries to avoid too many disruptions, they still utilize Danthe Artifice as the main supplier of all droid internals and interfaces, which requires the smaller company to adjust cycles as required - though they are still large enough to have multiple divisions working on different projects, as needed.
RATIONALE
Arakyd Industries, being a manufacturer of droids primarily in its earlier corporate dealings, required a well-developed company to use for the complex interfacing and internal components. With Danthe Artifice, they were able to get not only a skilled company dedicated to the task, but also a research and development group that had high aspirations to pursue droid perfection and artificial intelligence.
Being a large corporation, Arakyd Industries initially started as a major contractor, before buying out Danthe Artifice as a subsidiary. This kept Danthe Artifice doing what they did best, but with more funding and resources - a win-win.
