Run by a grizzled biker and his buxom beau, the Starving Kath Hotel is frequented by bikers, scavengers, and tourists who are looking for a quick bite to eat and a best to rest in. It is a multi-story building There is a bar and grill which has a selection of greasy deli items, barbeque items, and pizzas. The biker owner Marty can usually give details about the goings-on in Dantooine, but his ability to remember information is significantly increased with a donation of credits. The accommodations are sub-par, but they are meant to be temporary.
INSIDE DANTOO TOWN - SWOOP BIKE GARAGE
Swoop bike racing is a popular past-time in Dantoo Town, and some racers are even good enough to make it to the Dantooine Space Station's "Dantooine Open" professional racing cup. The swoop bike garage can fix not only swoop bikes, but most other types of terrestrial vehicles that use repulsorlift technology. Although the swoop bike garage will probably struggle to fix exotic vehicles, most regular vehicles can be repaired here. The owner of the swoop bike garage is a human woman named Ashley, who once raced swoop bikes "on the Space Station".
INSIDE DANTOO TOWN - DROIDEKAS R US
This is a droid repair and maintenance shop owned by the Aphri family. It developed a reputation for fixing droidekas and other CIS style droid models during the Sith Era of Dantooine as an effort to extract some humor from their bad situation. The name stuck with the residents. Droidekas R Us can repair almost all types of droids, AIs, and personal digital assistants, but you may need to stick around in the city while the Garang City freighters pick up the parts and deliver them back to Dantooine.
INSIDE DANTOO TOWN - DANTOOINE MULTI-FAITH TEMPLE ENCLAVE
Dantoo Town's residents are so welcoming that they allow any force user that needs it to use the mutli-faith temple enclave, even if they vandalize it or destroy it. Dantoo Town is highly spiritual when it comes to the force, and they scarcely interrupt force users or speak to them unless spoken to. The Dantoo Town people recognize force users when they see them, and they will not shy away from them, but instead wish them a good morning or a good day.
INSIDE DANTOO TOWN - BLUE KATH HIDEHOUT [SECRET LOCATION]
There is a swoop racing group called the Blue Kaths that have taken up residence in Dantoo Town in order to swoop race along the praries near Garang City. They usually commit minor crimes like vandalism, theft, public nuisances, and so forth. When arrested for a major crime, it is for illegal swoop bike modifications. Their competition is the Red Kaths. There is no actual difference between the Blue Kaths and the Red Kaths in any meaningful way, but the two swoop gangs constantly compete and rival each other, and they insist to anyone who will listen that they are separate and distinct.

DANTOOINE MILITARY BASE [SECRET LOCATION]

Low. The residents of Dantoo Town are able to assemble a militia of between 100 and 1000 fighters in the event of an attack (randomly determined by d100). They have an AT-ST that they use to ward off very large wildlife such as rancor dragons, but it has never seen use in a defensive battle. There is a swoop bike garage that has swoop bike which could be used to defend the town. Some Sayu Ni Temple Acolytes live in Dantoo Town and at the military base, and they will rush to its defense. The town does not have a shield battery, laser guns, or missiles. However, the town does have basic air defense in the form of anti-air laser turrets near the spaceport.
The town's one saving grace in the event of an attack would be to send a commslink message to Dantooine Military Base and to the wider military, asking for reinforcements.

- Wealth: Poor. The town is isolated, and located in a jungle savanna far outside of the borders of Garang City and past its prairies. The primary demographics of Dantooo Town are scavengers, the homeless, the transient, the deviant, the bold, and the daring. The inhabitants often dream about becoming wealthy so that they can "buy a ticket to the Station" (that being Dantooine Space Station) and live in the Middle District.
- Stability: Low. Dantoo Town has been conquered and used as a barracks numerous times, by numerous military forces of all kinds. Dantoo Town has frequently found itself surrendering and abruptly switching hands, so that the conquerors could peer inside of Dantooine Military Base.
- Freedom & Oppression: The city is poor and it is beholden to the planetary government for funds. They basically receive enough money to run the farms, but little else. The Dantoo Town residents are focused on getting by and on connecting to the main trade routes in Garang City. The spaceport is minimally functional and does not connect to the hyperlanes. There is no mayor, and so the Commander of the military base - whoever they are - usually gets to call the shots around Dantoo Town. The Commander can be a good person, or a bad person; a reclusive, or a regular figure. Typically, the Commander of the Dantooine Military Base is physically located so far away that the actions of the Dantoo Town residents do not matter much in the grand scheme of things. Dantoo Town is usually unperturbed by the authorities, and there has scarcely been conflict between the residents and the various governments over the centuries.
- Description: Dantoo Town is a unique fixation of the galaxy because both Dantoo Town and its hidden Dantooine Military Base has been held by Jedi, Sith, Mandalorians, Dathomirian Witches, criminal elements, scavengers, the Rimward Trade League, the Braxant Covenant, and even a Bounty Hunter's Guild. The permanent residents are almost all survivors, refugees, veterans, or former fighters in these various skirmishes. Despite the stability of Dantoo Town being small, the residents have heart and determination.
