Darth Nihlus
The Despoiler of Souls
As the bulky World Despoiler careened through hyperspace, its crew gathered in the hangar. Clad in their black armor and their helmets removed, they formed a makeshift ring around a clear area in the hangar with more climbing atop ships and catwalks to get a glimpse of what lay at the center, for tonight it was time for some entertainment. That was not the aim of the exercise, but it was more than these men and women got a lot of the time, as their work often consisted of little more than scouting and security detail. The Sith Lord that commanded this crew didn't mind an audience. It reminded them of whom they served and the power that he wielded.
At the center of the circle, Darth Nihlus removed his cloak and tossed it aimlessly to the side where it was caught by a crew member. His under clothes fit loose yet snug like tactical armor. His hand stretched out from his hip and the black hilt of his saber flew through the air from his hip and into his palm. Immediately the crimson blade flashed to life and began to sizzle and crackle as the unstable energy lashed out at the air around its edge. A fanciful flourish was performed and then the blade rested at his side.
“Come on, Aegon. Show me what you got.” He spoke rather plainly rather than using the elegant speech many Sith Lords used to display their superiority. He knew full well Aegon was the better duelist when it came to raw skill with a lightsaber, but that didn't mean it was a breeze to best Nihlus. In fact, the Sith Lord made up for his own lesser skill with a saber through his talent in the force. At times, the two were evenly matched and these spars were far from one sided. As if on cue, the men around the ring began to make bets.
“Let's see if today’s your day.” Yog-Sothoth grinned, his dead eyes focusing on Aegon as if they still worked.
