  • Material:
    • Alchemized Sarrassian Iron (System housing and frame)

    • Echo-Wrought Iron (Emotionally reactive targeting matrix)
    • Sacrificial Echo Nodes (Pain amplification and ritual feedback)

  • Sith-Prediction Matrix: Calculates targeting solutions using ritual foresight, emotional signature tracking, and precognitive mapping techniques.
  • Autonomous Ritual Integration: Functions independently of a Sith user during combat, synchronizing with ritual-based weapon systems such as Painwave Emitters or Void-linked fire control nodes.
  • Pain-Seeker Protocols: Targets enemy systems generating the most emotional distress, such as bridges, medical bays, and life support, amplifying terror and chaos.
  • Dread Calculus Engine: Uses dark logic cores and Sith mathematical doctrines to anticipate enemy patterns, formations, and vulnerabilities based on historical pain responses and battlefield entropy.
  • Shadow Mind Sync: Fully compatible with the Shadow Mind Integration Node, allowing centralized fire control across a Sith fleet with reflex-based coordination.

  • Precognitive Targeting: Anticipates enemy movement and tactical patterns through Sith sorcery and instinctive response algorithms.
  • Emotionally-Aware Fire Control: Prioritizes high-impact targets based on fear, pain, and command hierarchy signatures, making strikes devastating to enemy morale.
  • Ritual Combat Synchronization: Acts as a focal node for ritual-based fire control across multiple systems or ships within range.

  • Force Disruption Vulnerability: Severely weakened in Force-null fields or under voidstone/ysalamiri interference, loses access to predictive features, remaining just a bleeding edge system.
  • Ritual Calibration Burden: Requires initial sacrifice-fueled attunement and regular metaphysical upkeep, often involving pain and blood rites.
  • Aggressive Target Bias: Lacks conventional AI discretion. May focus on emotionally charged targets even when tactically suboptimal.
  • Fleet Dependency: While capable of standalone use, it performs best within a networked Kainate command structure linked to ritual systems.

The Dark Command Core Mk. I represents the Kainate's commitment to merging warfare, ritual sorcery, and emotion-guided instinct into one unified targeting philosophy. Created by the Shadow Mind Division under the direction of Darth Prazutis, the Core isn't simply a processor, it's a dark oracle, interpreting pain, fear, and tension as fuel for fire control decisions.

Encased in alchemized Sarrassian Iron, its heart is constructed from Bloodsteel neural processors and stabilized with Sith Blackstone to contain the volatile surge of metaphysical activity within. The inclusion of Echo-Wrought Iron gives it its edge, this alchemical metal, forged from the psychic residue of battlefields, reads emotional intensity like a bloodhound. The Sacrificial Echo Nodes amplify this further, letting the Core respond to battlefield trauma in real-time.

It predicts movement, its doctrines allow it to strike where it hurts most. It doesn't just destroy, it terrorizes. While extremely potent, its reliance on dark side rituals and psychic clarity makes it susceptible to metaphysical disruption. It is best used aboard Kainate vessels that already employ metaphysical command nodes and fleet synchronization, where it can serve as a terrifying centerpiece to the ship's offensive power.

To the Sith, targeting is not data, it is domination through foresight and fear. The Dark Command Core ensures every strike lands where it matters most.
