Dark Disappearances (The Order of the Grey)

The sky darkened as night closed in, a strange fog hung below the trees of Alderaan's forests. Around the Grey Temple's students, worry spread about some of them going missing, maybe kidnapped. [member="Veino Garn"], [member="Hakora Shin"] and [member="Talos Riga"] were left a message, telling them to go to the front entrance of the temple at 11pm. There, Minna waited for them.

Minna's grey hood was up, shielding her face from the chilling breeze of the night. It made her look like a grey Jawa, but that wasn't her concern right now. She was sat down, cross legged on a rock beside the temple gates. Her mind was bustling with the possibilities of where the students had gone, but she tried to keep her mind at calm. This would be a smooth 'mission', since she would have her trusted friend, and Knight, Veino to help her, aswell as his two students; providing they turned up. It would be a good chance for Veino's students to experience what a mission was like, but Minna hoped that it didn't involve any fighting, because that would mean the missing students were in danger...
Working on keep her mind clear, Minna waited for anyone who would come.

Veino checked his chronometer. The time had come. He stood for where he had been sitting, deep in meditation, and concentrating on what was to come. There were new wrinkles in his face, and the tips of some of his hairs had begun graying. This was a grave situation, and as the only Knight present, he was responsible for all that occurred, including the possible deaths of some of his students. He straightened his tunic, checked his lightsaber, and pulled his coat on, taking comfort in its battered familiarity.

He strode out of his chamber, exchanging pleasant greetings with the few brave students who were out now at night, and headed to the gate, fog clumping and drifting around his ankles, almost sticky. He grimaced.

He slowed as he neared the gate. He could see [member="Minna"] standing there at the entrance, cloaked in grey. As they all were, to so,ex degree, although himself less literally. He paused next to her, turning to stare out into the forest, chewing on his lip.

"Minna," His greeting was short, but still kind, worry making his voice as sharp and brittle as glass. He rubbed at his forehead. He was different now. Harder. There seemed to be a but more of an edge. The idealist and empath born and shaped through travels had stepped aside. The warrior, crafted by the Jensaarai, and then hardened by the Fel Imperium, had taken his place. A soldier now.

Minna sensed the difference in Veino, although it wasn't much of a concern for her. She had been meditating ever since she sent the message for the others to come, trying to see whether she could work out what this impending darkness was. Of course, with only her limited power, she had come up with nothing. Never make assumptions. She had been taught, yet she heavily assumed this was Sith work. "Do you think your students are prepared for whatever might happen? Dangerous, this mission could be." The Yodaling asked, it was obvious she was concerned about losing anymore students.

A whirlwind of green surrounded the area between [member="Minna"] and @Veino Garn. A swirl of ghastly green leaves appeared, and brightened. As the light grew to its peak, the leaves formed into skulls and a black cloaked figure stepped out. Eyes glowing green in contrast to the black clothing.

Talos stepped forth and the swirling skulls flowed into his chest, disappearing in a whisp.

"You summoned Us?"

"You guys are far too loud, how is anyone suppose to sleep with you guys all active and what not. Good thing though is Veino hasn't tripped yet today so thats a plus, i think." She smiled at those she looked down on from where she stood before jumping to the ground in the silver robes she wore far more often than not, orange and red continuously shifting in her pupil. She had changed in the past time, though that much was clear to all that it had happened and Alexandra said nothing as a physical change occurred only so often that she cared not about the chance.

Minna's eyes snapped to Alexandra as a smile formed on her face. Despite the troubles ahead, this was magnificent occurance. "Master, just in time you are." She wanted to say so much, but she realised they might be working against the clock, and she had to focus on the mission. "Time, we do not have. Make haste we must..." The Yodaling peered around as she stood up, looking at everyone gathered. "Without Hakora, we might have to proceed." Maybe it was for the best? Hakora was a skilled fighter, yet if he had decided not to come then Minna would understand. The darkness ahead would not be easily conquered. "Go now, shall we?"

Veino hesitated at the question from Minna. He wasn't entirely sure if they were or not. Talos probably was. Hakora was most likely skilled enough. Tough if that was readiness, he didn't know. He certainly wasn't ready when he first faced the Dark Side in battle. But perhaps nobody ever was.

He turned as Talos appeared, and nodded. "There is a darkness here somewhere, one we beeline to be connected to the missing students. This is an investigation team."

He cracked a small smile at Alexandra's joke. Indeed. He hadn't tripped today. Or recently for that matter. "Glad you could make it. Things have been it'll quiet around here without you." He turned back to Minna and nodded, stretching himself out with the Force, "Indeed, we should. We might have already delayed too long."

Without waiting any longer, Minna turned and started walking towards the forest. The fog made in nearly impossible to see inside. "Use the force, we must, to stay on track." Minna stated, as she entered the forest once everyone else was ready to follow.
...
After a few minutes of walking, Minna led the group to a clearing in the trees where the fog didn't reach. At one end of the clearing stood a small hill, with a cave leading underneath it. The edges of the cave entrance were painted with red symbols, and anyone well-connected with the force would feel a dark-side aura eminating from within. "Found this cave earlier, I did. Here, is where the students might be." She said as she took off her grey robe, hanging it on a low tree branch. Only her black combat tunic and two lightsabers remained, allowing for more movement if needed. "Be ready for anything we must."
Just after Minna finished speaking, sounds came from within the cave.

Alexandra walked slowly and carefully as she moved through the fog with graceful steps, her hand never leaving her sabers which remained hidden in her sleeves rather than at her belt for quicker use and activation of the saber as well as a way to surprise those unsuspecting of such. It didn't take long though for the aura to be felt by those in the party, its tendrils drilling through the air and corrupting all it touched as she stood there and looked on at the cave for a few moments. "Very interesting, i wonder how this has eluded us in the past, then again it is a rather recent creation i would suspect..."

Two humanoid figures became visible through the shadow of the cave. They both stepped into clearing, almost in unison, showing that one was a Rodian, while the other was Human. They both wore simple, black sleeveless robes and their arms were tatooed with red symbols. Each one held a lightsaber in their right hand. "Jedi?" The Rodian asked, speaking more to the other man than to the group. "No... Their aura isn't the same..." The human spoke, narrowing his eyes at the group. Both of them ignited the red blades of their sabers, assuming their combat stances. "It doesn't matter either way. They must be sacrificed."

The Human had assumed a Makashi opening stance, then without saying anything sprung forward with a horizontal slice aiming for Veino's chest, and if he could, he would then try to stab down at Minna, aiming at the middle of her chest. He seemed to be adept at lightsaber combat.

The Rodian however had assumed a basic Shii-Cho opening stance, seemingly less-trained. He ran forward, bringing his lightsaber up sluggishly and aiming to overheard slice Alexandra, then if he could, flick his lightsaber towards Talos's legs. It was clear the Rodian wasn't very good at lightsaber combat.

Veino stopped, frowning at the proximity of the cave, and then nearly staggered at the dark side aura. That was concerning. He should have been able to detect this easily, with this strength. The two figures stepped out, and he scrutinized them, the human seemed to be the more dangerous one, but the Rodian could be a threat.

A sense of danger surged through him, and he pulled his lightsaber to his hand, activating it at the same time, and bringing it up to block the sudden slice, wincing slightly at the jarring impact. There had not been enough time to get in a proper stance. He remedied that, placing his feet about shoulder length apart and bending his knees. Now he'd be able to absorb those stronger blows.

He thrust out with the Force at the man, seeking to push him back to gain a few spare moments. Two to four was it? The odds were slanted heavily in their favor, unless there were others lurking nearby. The students would be in the cave, most likely. Assuming they were still alive. Chills ran down his spine. Sacrificed. Had that happened to the students? Or had he not failed quite yet? That would be the goal. Keep these two Dark Side users away from the cave entrance.

Tensing his legs, and digging deep into the Force, he jumped, passing over the other's heads and landing with his back to the cave entrance. He lifted his lightsaber to a Soresu stance, and took a deep breath. He would have to duck into the cave to check on the missing students and see to their safety.

Hakora stood in a forrest way after curfew, but he was never one for rules. He was practicing the force and a technique he read about called a Force Scream as he had memory of using it to bring down a house and knew with that power he could protect the Galaxy. He practiced for hours as he never got the message and it was waiting for him in his room. He then felt the presence of the dark side and rushed towards it as it was ether a chance to learn the dark side or fight it; both sounded great. He jumped from tree branch to tree branch as he was getting very good at this and then saw his sister and the others fighting two sith and smile. He ignited his saberstaff and used a light saber throw from the trees at the human one. He continued his quick movements to the other sith and sent a powerful, at least powerful for him, force punch to his head. He used his free hand to catch his lightsaber as it returned. To his thoughts he thought he made up this move, but didn't know it was called Lightsaber Throw.

Minna saw the Human stumble back from Veino's force push, and then a few seconds later a saberstaff flew into him. The Yodaling brought out her lightsabers, igniting their white and gold blades. While the Human was distracted by the double attacks, Minna sent both of her lightsabers into his chest, aiming to finish him if the other attacks failed to do so. After finishing her attack, she made her way over to Veino with a force jump, then cast her gaze to Alexandra, Talos and Hakora who were fighting the Rodian.

Alexandra smiled as the Rodian swung his blade, her own saber shooting from inside her sleave and to her hand as it ignited in a familiar silver glow, its sound humming in the air as she swung the blade up to catch his blade above her head. Her left hand sent the second blade to her hand from within its sleeve and she ignited it before attempting to send the blade up into the arm that held the Rodian's saber, hoping to only disarm him and not need to do more.

The Human only grunted as he was force pushed backwards, yet when the saberstaff hit him he screamed in pain. It sliced the front of his stomach, the pain making it too hard to stand. Once the saberstaff had returned to it's sender, two lightsabers entered the humans chest, ending his life rather quickly.

Hearing the screams of his friend, the Rodian turned to see what had happened. In the few seconds he lost by doing so, his arm fell from his shoulder. He too screamed in pain, yet it sounded different through the Rodians mouth. Falling to his knees, he started mumbling for mercy to Alexandra. Before anyone could decide, a powerful force punch hit him in the head, knocking him out cold.

Minna holstered her lightsabers by her waist, letting out a sigh of relief once everything went quiet. "A small victory, we have achieved. But over, this is not. Still here, the dark side is." The Yodaling turned to look into the cave, a long, seemingly man-made tunnel that went on for 30 or 40 metres, before opening out into a bigger area. She closed her eyes, attempting to use the force to sense what was inside the larger area, but something blocked her thoughts. "Go in, we must. Is everyone ready?" Minna asked, looking at everyone else for their answer.

Veino turned to the two fallen, feeling nothing, and then turned to enter the cave. He kept the lightsaber ignited, just in case there were others inside, as well as for a light. Darkness roiled within the cave, making him want to vomit. His was not going to be a pleasant walk. Or excursion, for that matter, either.

He gave a short nod in response to the question from Minna.

Minna followed behind Veino after his reply, signalling for the others to follow. No doubt someone might want to stay behind and clear up the mess. Her small feet made little sound as the two of them made their way to the end of the tunnel. Once they reached the entrance to the larger area, Minna grabbed Veino's leg, whispering quietly. "Wait for the others to be here, seen, we must not be yet." She nodded her head towards the larger area, specifically the two figures stood on the other side. "All together, we must do this."

[member="Hakora Shin"]

The larger area was the size of a grand hall, obviously man-made. It's walls were covered with the same red symbols as before, illuminated by torches fixed into the stone. The first half of the room was taken up by six equally placed stone tables, on top of all were bodies. Only four of the bodies were alive, grumbling as they helplessly tried to resist the iron restraints on their wrists and legs. On the farthest side of the room, two figures stood facing the far wall. One of them was dressed like the men outside and he seemed to be writing on the wall. The other man was Prince Aros, tatooed fully white except for the red tattoo running up his back and round the front of his face. It was unclear how many lightsabers the painting man had, but it was clear that Aros had a saberstaff holstered on his lower back. Neither of the men noticed Veino or Minna at the entrance, luckily for them.

Hakora turned off his lightsaber and grabbed some force restraints to bind the unconscious enemy. He then began work to heal the severed arm enough so he wouldn't bleed out and the lightsaber already did most of the work in searing the arm. Hakora stood and faced the others. "So whats going on here and why are these guys here?" Hakora was still oblivious to the mission, but if it provided a fight he looked forward to it; though he preferred one on one fights over one on many.
