Dark meetings.

Location: Dragon Palace Casino

Lisa had kept her word to the dark man after being trumped by him during the battle of Makeb. He was a strange figure and she didn't dare piss him off. In fact she preferred his strangeness to the strangeness of others.

As she strode through the doors of the multimillion credit multi acre casino she breathed deep. Home, and it was nice to be back after so much work over the past week.

"Weapons?" One guard asked.

Lisa shot him a glare that would kill a baby on sight.

"Darkwater Security, Lisa Ticon, on a mission for Lysle so get lost nerfherder."

The guard simply turned away.

"Apologies miss Ticon, didn't realize it was you, he's waiting for you."

"Good."

She pushed past the massive guards with her crew in tow and went down an elevator. As it opened she was gretted with the familiar view of the Ravens secret suites beneath the casino. Lush and cavernous.

"Take a seat weirdo, Lysle should be by soon."

"You are an amusing woman, Lisa Ticon." Vilox lifted his hands to the cowl of his robe and lowered it back onto his back, as he entered the casino with Lisa. He did not know what had happened to Tahl. Presumably they had left him at the ship.

He complied with her order and took a seat, waiting for Lysle to make his entrance.

The Dragon Palace casino had been a place of many gatherings. Lysle had been glad to have some moments of peace and quiet, but when a waiter called him away once more, he was slightly displeased. Lysle sat in his luxurious office. His office had been spared no expenses and boasted a large area at which he could relax. The area contained two large lounges, big enough for a party of five on each should they need to entertain guests privately. Between the two lounges sat an elongated coffee table. The place where he chose to serve food and some of the casinos finest alcohol when he had a meeting. The area served to make their guests feel more comfortable or 'at home'. Delegates were more likely to agree when shown the excellent hospitality the Ravens provided. Not to mention, when they had a few glasses of top shop liquor in their systems.

Two immense Herglics flanked Lysle Rigger, heavy blaster pistols holstered at their hip that looked like playthings in comparison to their size. DD-S1's stood as silent watchmen around the doom, submachine guns sitting in their holsters, and outside a dozen stood before his door. The casino itself had three-thousand of these droids crawling over the premises. When you were a multi-billionaire, and wanted by just about every authority in the galactic community, you had a well deserved battalion of security. Lysle stood, buttoning up his vest and tightening his tie, a Herglic offered his jacket and he slipped his arms in. Departing his private office for the conference room, the DD-S1's fell in line behind him, and the Herglics remained flanking him. Literal meat shields. He moved down the corridor, left, right and a final right before entering the room with Lisa Ticon and a stranger. He took a seat opposite the unknown being. "What do you want."

Lisa didn't leave the room. On the contrary she was still fired up about the mans force use earlier against her. She knew the force could stop many things but it could not simply wave away a fifty caliber slug. And if he moved that's what he would get.

Silently she walked up behind Vilox and pressed her silenced sniper to his back, pushing into his body hard. One false move and she would shoot him point black. The muzzle was angled just so that the round would miss Lysle completely as well.

"Watch out for this one, he aint safe. Now speak fool!"

It was as he expected. The room was full of furniture, comfort and the aura of relaxation, which all served the facade to what it truly was. This was the center of a mans domain, where meetings were conducted to serve a fledgling criminal Empire. His yellow eyes averted from Lysle to the pair of Herglics either side; and he was briefly reminded of what it was like to find your entire body cramped underneath one; and their teeth cramped around one's head...

He reminded stood, silent and rigid when Lisa moved behind him, gun cocked right at his back. He presumed at this range that it would hit him, severing skin, flesh, muscle and bone. His gaze lifted back to Lysle to answer his question. "I need your help."

Choden Yonten had seen the crowd moving into the conference room, and the nosey man he was, he followed them in. He moved past them as his boss took a seat, and brushed past Lisa. He moved to the bar, reaching over for a large bottle of a brownish liquid, and taking two clear and clean shot glasses, he filled them up - and not without splashing some of the alcohol on the table itself. "Ooh," he purred, "That's going to be sticky if someone doesn't clean it up." He turned, clicking two fingers at Lisa, "Honey, clean this up will you?" He waltzed towards Lysle, and moving past he handed a shot out towards the guest, "Drink up darling." Choden downed his own glass, slamming it down he exclaimed with a rigorous groan of delight. He rested an arm over the shoulder of Vilox, "If you want our help you'll need to be more specific. We may be criminals, but we're not diva's."

"I need a ship, with a hyperdrive rating for 1.0. I need a crew and enough consumables to last one year. The ship would preferably be a cruiser, with a compliment of starfighters and transports for loading and unloading." He fell silent. His gaze remained on Lysle.

"No, no, no," Choden said, clicking his fingers with each no he announced. "You don't make the demands," he walked around Vilox for a moment, eyes weighing him, diverting up and down. He completed his full circle and moved back towards the bar, empty shot glass in hand. "Tsk, tsk, tsk," he clicked with his tongue, throwing a look to Lysle and Lisa, "They never learn." He spread his arms wide to rest on the bench, throwing the shot glass onto the ground where it shattered. His hair fell in his eyes and gave a toss of his head to flick it back. "You tell us why, or we tell you no." He turned to look towards Vilox, "Do we look like the Republic Navy, sweetheart? We don't throw our resources willy-nilly because some hot shot tells us too."

"You asked what I wanted." He remained sombre in expression and he resonated an ice cold aura, both to the Force-sensitives in Lisa and Lysle, as well as to Choden, who did not possess the talent. He simply resonated cold. The type of ice coldness that the darkest of Force users could resonate. Of course, Choden had decided not to ask what he would give. He wanted to know what he wanted first, so as to learn how much it would cost Vilox Pazela for the Red Ravens assistance.

Price would not be established. It was just how they would go about the business. Asserting himself as the dominant power in the exchange, Choden and his employer, Lysle, waited for Vilox would exchange for the cruiser, crew and consumables that the Dark Master had requested. It was time for the pitch.

"My name is Vazela. I am a scientist. I create and take away. This is the essence of my science." He lifted his arms to the side in gesture. "I require the cruiser and the hyperdrive I have requested so I may convert said hyperdrive into an other space drive. Therefore, the cruiser in question will have the ability to open a rift in space that will allow it and those on board to transfer themselves from real space to other space."

"There are three realms in space. There is real space, which we exist in. There is hyperspace, which we use to bend real space, allowing us to travel to other worlds and star systems. Then there is other space, a realm where it is said worlds and people live in. People that we have never met or heard of before."

"I will take the cruiser to other space, so I may conduct an experiment on a world in other space. The experiment will convert the world into a vast reservoir of metals and ores. If the experiment is successful, then this reservoir of metals and ores will belong to the Red Ravens."

"This is the price I will pay for the cruiser and crew. I do all the hard work and you take all of the profits at the end. If I fail, then you simply kill me and move on. At the very least, you will have an other space drive, a piece of technology that is extremely rare because, well..." He lowered his hands back to the sides, coming to an end of his pitch. "...only the Red Ravens will have one."
