Dark Side of Onderon (complete until the next meeting)

Location Onderon

The last time Faith was on Onderon that had been an assassination and she was at that time a Senator. She returned her today to see what she could learn about the fate of Onderon and what had happened to [member="Cecily de Demici"] the woman who had been Head of State and would have been next in line to take the reigns of the Republic.

This visit she brought with her the Knight Errant of Aldera, and Mandalorian Commander [member="Draco Vereen"].

She made sure to wear something appropriate she was uncertain of what she would find and who she would meet. She looked about and for a moment she paused the events of that day not long ago playing across her mind.

She looked back at Draco making sure he was near she had to know what the state of Onderon was now, and was there anything that could be done to help.

Or was there something else that had led her to this spot, this moment, this encounter.

[member="Darth Vornskr"]

Draco stood behind Faith, on her left. Two paces behind her, one pace to the left. His armor wasn't specially polished or painted, and other than the favor of House Organa, bearing the familial symbol, he was wearing and carrying combat gear. Everything he might need just in case the Sith tried anything.

While Draco had a working relationship with the One Sith, dating back before the Invasion of Contruum or the Battle of Balmorra, during the time of the reign of the Dark Lord, Faith had a working relationship with the Republic, and was its Intelligence Minister. It was a prestigious enough position to warrant Draco's worry.

He smiled through the visor, and touched her hand reassuringly. "Don't worry love. Everything will be fine, I will keep you safe." His little sign of affection and reassurance in their last moments of privacy before arriving before the Sith Lord would have to be enough. Quietly, he ran through a short list of things he knew about the Dark Councilor she was meeting. "Vornskr is arrogant and egotistical. His people revere him like a deity, and he likes to think he is as well." Things to think about when meeting with the Sith Lord.

With what little information about the Sith Lord told to his beloved, Draco fell back into place as a protector, just behind her. He cycled through controls on his HUD and set his Light Shields to maximum size, one meter in diameter and readied himself for the meeting. Draco assumed he would be quiet for the most part.

Unifar Temple, Iziz, Onderon

Onderon. Once the fallback capital of the Republic throughout most of the long war against the One Sith Empire as it spread out from the Deep Core like a tidal wave, washing away all weakness and leaving behind those strongest to weather the storm. Now the streets of Iziz flew the banners of the Empire, and Imperial soldiers patrolled alongside repulsorlift tanks blaring Imperial rhetoric at hourly intervals that could be heard for miles around. Otherwise the city was quiet save for the bustling of the marketplaces and the distant braying of beasts beyond the towering walls of the city.

Thunder clouds rumbled on the distant horizon, threatening to drown Iziz in one of the planet's many frequent downpours, but that was not what drew the citizen's attention. Rather they were transfixed on the rumor that one of the Empire's leaders, a Dark Councilor, had recently arrived on Onderon. There was no information that belied the Councilor's identity, but either way the mere rumor of his arrival sent the locals into a flutter of gossip-mongering while underground resistance groups wondered if now was an opportune time to strike at one of the many heads of the beast that had come to strangle their planet. Of course that also means that the local garrison had been mobilized in order to dissuade any dissenters from making their presence known during the duration of his visit, and to act as rapid response should any rebels decide to interject.

But there would be no mass procession, no grand event to herald his being. Rather everything was kept tight-lipped and a curfew was enacted to keep the citizens confined to their homes. Only the Princess from Alderaan and the Dragon of Mandalore were given admittance to the Unifar Temple, the seat of Onderon's local government. The meeting place was, of course, the throne chamber where Darth Vornskr sat atop the throne typically reserved for the Onderon nobility or, in this case, the governor left by the One Sith to ensure that the nobility stays in line. There were no other occupants in the throne room other than the Sith Lord, not even the guardsman one would see flanking both sides of the throne.

Either he was completely confident in his abilities or trusted that his guests wouldn't try to pull something on him.

Faith felt incredibly small as she looked up it was an impressive structure it rivaled the palaces on Alderaan for certain. "I'll remember Draco" The bit of briefing he gave her as they walked along her guard left at the ship this meeting was to only be herself, Draco and Darth Vornskr.

Every breath she took she held and counted till 5 wanting to keep her heart rate low instead of having it pound from her chest. "Draco" she turned to her Knight Errant, "This building this was built to boost importance, and quite possibly ego"

Faith entered the temple she could hear her own shoes echo on the floor as she walked it was hallow, she found most temples to be so. No life within them, no soul and for a temple with no soul the people too would be bereft of these things. "This may have been a bad idea"

She walked on a path that led her to the throne room high up to elevate the man over the people sat [member="Darth Vornskr"] . Faith stopped and gave a deep curtsy part of the protocols for meeting nobility, and rulers. While she was not sure that he outranked her in that area she would give him the courtesy of the curtsy.

"Greetings, I am Princess Faith of the planet Alderaan and this is my Knight Errant [member="Draco Vereen"] we have traveled a long way to speak with you"

Faith was not very good about negotiations but she would try anything once.

Draco followed Faith closely, building the Thought Shield around her and about his own mind. For the Mentalist, guarding himself and someone he shared a very strong bond with wasn't difficult. He would see to it there would be no illusions, mental probing, or mind tricks against the pair of them, and with his focus on shielding them, he wouldn't be able to play serious tricks on the Epicanthix warrior on the throne, assuming the rumors he had heard about the species were true. Either way, Draco had no intention of trying it today. Today there was much more important things to worry about. "Don't worry. I've got you, cyar'ika. We will be fine."

When Faith curtsied before the Dark Councilor, Draco gave a nod of his head in respect, offering him a warriors respectful greeting, not that of a god. Surely the Epicanthix would understand, but unless it was demanded of him, Draco had no intentions of kneeling or debasing his honor and pride for the ego of a madman on a throne. He had done that enough for one life. He hadn't even bowed or knelt for the Dark Lord, so surely showing him the same respect he had showed his former master would be enough.

Draco for the most part stood behind Faith, noticing that her outfit complimented her very well, and stood quiet. Perhaps this would turn out alright and they would all three get what they wanted without either he, nor Faith having to be humiliated. He didn't take the Sith Lord for one to request an audience only to gloat and break down what had been a very beneficial relationship for the Sith.

[member="Faith Organa"] | [member="Darth Vornskr"]

His fingers gently rapped against the arms of the rather standard looking throne as the Princess and Knight-Errant entered the large double doors at the far end of the chamber, a rush of air accompanying them as the pressure began to equalize within and without. The Sith Lord rose, his black zeyd-cloth robe rippling with the movement, and he began to descend the dais upon which the throne was raised. Each step made the trinkets he wore around his neck and waist jingle, and the light shining through the paned windows behind the throne made the jewels set on the rings that encircled his fingers shimmer and sparkle. He looked every bit the king he carried himself as, and he walked with the swagger of noble arrogance down to meet his two guests.

"Ah, Lady Organa. A pleasure to finally meet you at last." His words, despite the gravely nature of his voice, were as sweet and smooth as honey, but his eyes were cruel and burned with hate not specifically directed at anyone in particular. He towered above the Princess by over a foot and was only a few inches taller than her Mandalorian protector, and when he bowed it brought himself eye-level with the Princess. "I am Kaine Zambrano, Dark Councilor of the Sith Empire and King of Panatha." He was not on his homeworld nor any of the planets adjacent to it, so he dropped all pretense of divinity while in their company.

"My servants have prepared a dinner in your honor, Princess. If you and your friend would join me this evening we can ease into the more important matters at hand."

[member="Faith Organa"] | [member="Draco Vereen"]

She would admit to anyone that would ask her what were your first impressions, holy feth time to go home. Instead she put beskar into her spine and looked him directly in the eye as he looked at her. She knew she was holding her breath waiting for him to swoop down and devour her on the spot. It was great relief that washed over her when he merely stood before her at eye level.

"Kaine Zambrano, I thank you for the invitation and accept it on behalf of myself and my Knight. I do not wish to offend you but I have found with titles it is best to ask, what should I call you during this time together" She assumed it would be Lord but to be certain she would take the safe way and ask.

Yes his voice could have been of the highest angels and spoke only of rainbows but there were old tales told of the sweetest of angels and all the havoc he created when he bucked against his lord. She was so glad right now that Draco was with her.

More important matters there were so many on her mind right now which ones did he wish to discuss, her home world, the Republic, or that they Sith had Draco on speed dial.
[member="Darth Vornskr"] [member="Draco Vereen"]

Draco had seen the Sith Lord before. Same with Reverance, Vrag, Sage Bane. Even met the Dark Lord once. Darth Carach was technically the man who had Draco on retainer, and for a time, it had appeared as though Draco, as Vulkan would join the One Sith. Those were times long gone though. All that was left was his strategy of appeasement to the Sith. If they were appeased, they wouldn't want to upset what was at the moment a powerful ally.

Draco stood just behind Faith, ready to provide her safety and security if she should require it, though it seemed that the Sith Lord was also in the mindset of appeasement. Mandalore wasn't as strong it once was, but it was beneficial not to make an enemy when there wasn't one at the moment. If there was one way to secure Draco's loyalty, it was through Faith. Only she commanded his absolute loyalty, and only she could offer it. But, perhaps the Sith Lord didn't seek that. Not everything was about Draco after all.

Until otherwise needed though, he was simply at the ready, holding the Thought shield for the pair of them, and standing calm, still and serene. Focusing intently on slowing the passage of time, watching it slide past him like molasses on a cold day as he concentrated on the thought shield, being as unthreatening as he could given the circumstances.

[member="Faith Organa"] | [member="Darth Vornskr"]

He chuckled amusingly, "For you, Princess, you may call me Kaine." Ah, the lure of informality was a strong one, but was the Sith Lord just being conveniently casual or was there a darker agenda to his mannerisms? His mind and face revealed nothing, and with a great sweep of his arm he gestured to another set of double doors at the throne room's western wall, which opened a moment or two after he had acknowledged it. Beyond the towering threshold was a magnificent table carved from wroshyr wood harvested during the Empire's brief occupation of Kashyyyk before the Akala Sundering. Plates of food had already been assembled across the table while three chairs had been set out for the Sith Lord and his two guests with one at the head of the table and two flanking either side, while alluring servant girls carrying plates of drink beckoned for their audience.

Kaine would lead them through the doors and proceeded to take his spot at the head of the table, "Sit, drink, and eat my friends." he implored as he plucked a single goblet of purple wine from one of the servant girls. He brought the chalice to his mouth, and drank deeply of the liquid within until a ring of purple encircled his lips. He drew forth one of the many napkins that had been spread about the table and gently wiped the excess drink from his face. "So, Princess Organa. You have come seeking my audience because of your homeworld, yes? And the fact that the Empire encroaches closer and closer to Alderaan with every passing rotation as well? I heard of the Mandalorian's attempt to ensure your sovereignty and your succession from the decadent Republic, but that didn't go exactly as planned now did it?"

He laughed again, this time with a hint of mockery lacing the amusement, "That does not surprise me. The Republic would rather keep its claws dug into your world, sacrificing your people's freedom in order to have a steady cache of phrik readily available."

[member="Faith Organa"] | [member="Draco Vereen"]

"Kaine, a name that seems to warrant iconic revelations" Faith smiled she liked the idea of being informal but she knew from the moment she stepped foot on this world that everything would be subterfuge she needed to be at her best, she needed to watch each gesture and listen to each word. She needed to think outside the box that diplomats normally could.

Faith wanted to have a glass of wine, just one she looked over to Draco not seeking his permission but letting him know she was going to have a drink and he needed to not go off the deep end. She picked up a glass of a red wine, why was she not surprised to find blood red wine on his table.

"I have come on two things, my home world, and to see if you have any knowledge of what may have happen to [member="Cecily de Demici"] the last known Republic Senator of Onderon. I've not been able to locate her for sometime" She lifted the glass and took a draw on the glass. The wine was surprisingly good, not some sickening sweet fermented grape but close middle of the road spices and fruits hit her warming her blood, and perhaps giving her a bit of courage.

"No it did not, though many spoke eloquent and my mother made her wishes known. We had hoped to fall under the protection of Mandalore." Now how did he know all of that, was his Spinmaster better than she was. Possible, but then Braxis Zambrano. Holy Feth. The Sith Minister of Intelligence was related to Kaine.

Tip toe Faith she told herself.

"It is amazing what governments will do just to lay claim to resources" She smiled again.

[member="Darth Vornskr"] [member="Draco Vereen"]

Draco sat quietly beside Faith, his sword in his lap as it was uncomfortable, and nigh impossible to sit in an arm chair with it on his side like it had been. It was still sheathed, just adjusted for comfort. The Mandalorian continued watching the Sith like a hawk, though his visor turned slight as though to regard each one as they spoke, his eyes remained locked on the Sith Lord across the table. This being was known for three things on Mandalore. The killing of Mandalorians and children, his power and skill, and having his throneworld turned into a wasteland because of the other two. Everything else was fluff and extra to the Mandalorian warrior.

His heightened senses caught every twitch, every flex of every muscle, their voices were distorted and droned on, lingering on each word as food was placed on the table and drinks were brought. Through his peripheral vision he watched Faith take a wine glass and have a sip. He wasn't worried about her drinking alcohol, she was intelligent and conserved. He worried slightly about poison in the drinks. He suspected that wasn't Vornskr's style, but the Sith as a whole had made a name for themselves by not having a style they held to. She would be undergoing a molecular level medical scan when they got back to the ship though, just to be sure.

The Mandalorian did not eat, did not drink. He had considered using Coomb Spores on his enemies before, but Kaine had given him something he may not realize. Kaine had let the Mandalorian feel his presence, up close and personal. Let him study it, memorize its feel. That could be a dangerous thing to give a man like Draco, someone who would go to any lengths to protect the ones he cared about.

The Mandalorian sighed at the mention of Alderaan's current surroundings. He had hoped to bring it under the protection of the Clans, to build a wall of beskar and courage between it and the Sith who had vongformed it, tore it down, and disheveled it once before. Draco operated under the opinion that appeasement would be healthier a relationship with the Sith, and secure the worlds he cared about better than attempting to fight them. But, Faith was not of that mind, and his loyalties were to her, before any others. "Indeed. That's why I rarely use inhabited worlds for my business. Keeps everything and everyone happier."

[member="Darth Vornskr"] | [member="Faith Organa"]

"Resources win wars, Lady Organa, and by the looks of it the Republic could use all of the resources it can get its grubby little hands on." Meanwhile the foundries and shipyards of the Sith Empire were churning day and night, pumping out weapons, armor, and various other technologies to bolster the Imperial war machine as the Empire pushed deeper and deeper into Republic territory. Everyday the Republic lost more and more ground to the Empire, further legitimizing its claim to the Core and the surrounding systems. And even now a new power was emerging from the ashes of the Techno Union's dissolution, the Sith Triumvirate, a coalition of Sith Lords and other miscreants who were once part of the glorious Sith Empire. For whatever reason, their hearts or their shoes, these Sith Lords broke off from the One Sith to pursue their own agenda Vornskr could not immediately discern, but so long as they could be used against the Republic he would overlook their heresy.

"And I am deeply saddened that you and your people could not escape the pitiful yoke of the Republic, but their grasp on that region of space is waning. Perhaps Alderaan will be freed from the shackles that drag them into the grave, and be free to pursue their own destiny once again. The good man [member="Isley Verd"] and I have been speaking at length of what the future holds for both our people, Imperial and Mandalorian, and we have begun to put aside old grievances in favor of prosperity between the Empire and the Clans. That same vision for the future could be shared with House Organa."

[member="Faith Organa"] | [member="Draco Vereen"]

"I'm sure my mother and sister will do their very best to keep the Republic at bay" She smiled noticing how he had skipped over her inquiry about Cecily this omission lead her to assume he chose not to discuss it because he knew where she was.

She listened intently the next words uttered by Kaine, remembering always that he was a Sith and Sith always seemed to have an agenda, some hidden meaning to their intentions. Anything talked about here, well it would be hard to know if there was hidden meaning.

"Yes I was not present when [member="Isley Verd"] made his speech to the Republic and my mother, but I understand that he was eloquent and brought out all the points that were not addressed by our Family." She placed her hands into her lap as she often did when contemplating words.

"Are you saying that the Sith, or just yourself would be willing to make agreements with Alderaan. What exactly is the vision that you see?" The last Sith vision was nothing like what Alderaan looked like right now, she would have to take anything he said and discuss it with the Queen and with [member="Alyesa Organa"] . But what could the Sith offer? Certainly not protection. Perhaps he spoke of non agression against Alderaan.

She must be careful there is always a price, what would be asked of Alderaan for this vision?

[member="Darth Vornskr"] [member="Draco Vereen"]

Draco was the first Mandalorian to work to shepherd in a new era for the clans, though his were less towards favoring the Sith, and simply favoring fighting. He had wanted the clans to fight for anyone and everyone that they wanted to, help both sides of any war or conflict as each Alor saw fit, and simply not care about the rest of space.

Then that vision faded and became cloudy, muddled with the schemes and plans of Darth Vulkan. For a time, Vulkan had yearned for a seat on the Dark Council, but those had been filled with others and Vulkan turned to other things. Then his vision became different, more focused on himself and his close loved ones. And now he didn't care for the Sith as much as he had used to. Too many of his allies, no, all of his allies within the One Sith, were gone now. Carach, Adekos, Reverance, Vrag, Sage Bane, Jacen Cavil. All gone from the One Sith, and his personal loyalties shifted elsewhere, towards Faith than any of them anyway.

Draco had heard this bit before. Next was when he asked for something she couldn't give or else. Draco knew these meetings normally went like that, it was why he had liked those six. Meetings with them normally ended with mutually beneficial compromise. Perhaps Zambrano would surprise him, this whole meeting had been fairly surprising already.

[member="Darth Vornskr"] | [member="Faith Organa"]

"I hold great sway within all aspects of the Empire, Lady Organa. When I talk people tend to listen to what I have to say." He had summoned a silver fork with a flourish of his hand and an acute application of the Force, and proceeded to spear one of the pieces of steaming cut meat from a nearby plate that had been garnished with sauce. He let the piece of meat rest on his own plate before beckoning forth a knife in the same manner in which he acquired the fork, and began to slowly cut the meat down into bite-sized squares that he could easily devour with one bite. He proceeded to do just that and allowed himself, at least outwardly, savor the taste of the finely cooked meat and the sauce that accented the flavor to orgasmic levels. But the terrible truth was that everything he partook in, food and drink, tasted like ash in his mouth.

One of the cruel side effects of dying several times was that at one point or another you lose your taste for food, and that was not the only thing. He found himself struggling to grasp some of his more distant memories, their shades blurred and gray and often illegible. The faces of his detested mother and father had long since departed his mind, and in their place was only blank skin pulled taut over misshapen skulls. Sometimes he would catch a glimmer of a memory that was not his own, seeing through the eyes of his own mother who's consciousness he feasted upon in that foul realm of the nether. And for a brief moment a flicker of worry shimmered across his otherwise immaculate and generous features, but as quick as it came it vanished.

"And the vision I have for your people is relatively simple, and beneficial for all parties involved. Pledge Alderaan to the Empire, and I will destroy House Thul for you."

[member="Faith Organa"] | [member="Draco Vereen"]

She imagined that one thing he did not have any need to embellish was that people listened when he spoke. She had met many over the years in her position as a Senator she recognized confidence and arrogance at the same time a very fine line between the two.

She enjoyed the wine but knew she could not have much one it would take away her clear thinking and two well it was personal wasn't it? She drew a breath as she thought about how to respond to him. What could she say without sounding arrogant, ungreatful, or rude.

Faith set her glass down, tenting her fingers she looked to Kaine, "Perhaps a different deal, how about leave Alderaan in its current neutral state, or allow the Mandalorian forces to become our protectors?" She would take one issue at a time Alderaan and its safety was first, so she would take the bull by the horns so to speak and try to do what she had been trained to do.

Negotiate.

[member="Darth Vornskr"] [member="Draco Vereen"]

Draco coughed a little bit, on of the first unwarranted interruptions he had made. Offering to eliminate one of the few houses that stood against House Organa wasn't a terrible idea, wasn't even a half bad offer. But House Thul was a fraction of its strength a few months ago, and its power since it fell out of favor with the One Sith was basically non-existant. "You mean the house I buried in an afternoon. House Thul is as much a threat to Alderaan as a worm a threat to a man. Pledging Alderaan to the same people that Vong Formed it and scarred it for nearly a decade will need a much greater offer than squashing roaches for the Princess. She has people that can do that for her already in her service I'm afraid."

House Thul had already betrayed the Sith on several fronts and were now supporting both the Galactic Republic and the Galactic Alliance, but was being held at arms length because of their past. If it was a sleeper cell, it was too valuable an asset to be traded away for Alderaan, a planet which meant little to the One Sith compared to Carida, Brentaal, Kiribi, and Borleias. Seeing as he had made the offer, either he never intended on fulfilling his half of this agreement, or the Sith Lord thought nothing of House Thul, much like Draco did.

Draco's helm turned toward's Faith, listening to her, paying attention to the dull, low pitch drone that came with his dilated sense of time.

[member="Faith Organa"] [member="Darth Vornskr"]

"Forgive me if I'm skeptical, but as Alderaan has known to harbor pro-Republic sentiments for centuries I find it hard to believe that you'll remain neutral for long. The Mandalorians may be reliable mercenaries, but ultimately they don't care for the interests of the Republic or the Empire." He picked up his dining knife and jabbed the air accusing at Draco, "And from what I can tell this one has taken a liking to you, Lady Organa, how can I be certain you won't persuade him to commit acts that only benefit the Republic rather than the Alderaani people or your dear neighbor, the Empire? Alderaan was allowed to be ravaged by the Yuuzhan Vong because of their unwillingness to bend in the face of change and compromise, a situation that I assume you wouldn't want to find you or your people in ever again. But I'm an amiable individual, so I'll make you a new deal."

He slammed his knife into the table, blade down, with such force that even despite the dullness couldn't stop it from embedding several inches deep into the polished wood. "The Mandalorians will be allowed to become protectors of Alderaan, and Alderaan will be able to keep her independence and declare herself neutral in galactic affairs, but in exchange the Empire will be allowed to appoint an adviser to supervise that the Alderaani government does not abuse the veil of neutrality to plot against the Imperial government and its people and the Empire will leave you and your people in peace. I think that's an exceedingly fair deal that benefits both of us, wouldn't you agree?"

[member="Faith Organa"] | [member="Draco Vereen"]

He certainly had all the information correct but then Alderaan history was known for anyone that had the ability to read, or see.

"My mother nor my sister have any love of the Republic, neither truly wish to have anything to do with them." She looked at Draco, "Draco is a mandalorian who are mostly known for working for anyone who can pay. I do not control who he works for, I certainly don't want him shooting at me, and I'm sure he wouldn't want to shoot at me." She would not deny nor confirm that there was anything between them.

Everything [member="Darth Vornskr"] said did come to what her family wanted, except the advisor, "If you will allow me I would like to present this proposition to my mother the Queen, and my sister [member="Alyesa Organa"]. What you proposal has merit but I alone do not make such decisions for Alderaan. Though I have voice in it." She thought on a piece of information, "would you be thinking of someone from House Gaultier as an Advisor or perhaps a better position would be as one of the members of the High Council."

They could be neutral, have mandalorian protection but one step to show any favoritism or work against the Empire or Imperials and war would certainly visit them.

It was now her turn to play with her food as she thought on this more she was not a fool neutrality was what they had longed for.

[member="Draco Vereen"]

"I had assumed there would be more trust between us." Draco said quietly, hearing the subtle distortions. "The Mandalorian Clans will never recognize a One Sith's position within their territory. They hardly recognized me when I was mercing out to you and your former masters." The loss of many Sith Lords, the rebellion of the Yuuzhan Vong, the schism of the Sith Triumvirate and the Sith Empire on Ruusan and the Outer Rim respectively must not have registered fully. The One Sith Navy was having to make up for significant losses, and that would take time. A long time.

"In the very recent past, I had considered myself an ally to the One Sith, to the point I almost considered myself a part of the order. I'm disappointed that the feeling was not mutual, as your faith in me has been so easily shaken." It wasn't like Draco cared what this Sith Lord thought, but what sane, rational being went into negotiations insulting a long time loyalist without serious facts to back it up? So far Draco had never attacked One Sith Space in his long life time. In fact he had lead numerous battles in their support, and supported them as Foreman of the Techno Union for a very long time. Given his track record it was more believable that he would bring Alderaan into the fold, than be lead away from it, but nonetheless, the assumptions had been voiced.

"Princess Organa has to take your offer to the Crown Princess, to the Queen, and to the Noble Houses before anything can be formally agreed upon, perhaps it is time we made our leave to deliver your message." Draco wasn't pleased that years of service and alliances were so quickly brought into question by the Dark Council. Alienate a long time ally to ensure he stays neutral? It wasn't the brightest of tactics. Not with three major Galactic governments still pressing down on the One Sith, and the One Sith quickly running out of official allies and allies they didn't fund.
