Darkstar Agvel is an Ord Trasi diversified conglomerate, with holdings in media, entertainment, and hospitality industry. The company is publicly traded, with 10% of the company owned by the Vel family, 8% through their family holding company (FHC). The Vel's FHC is currently only consist of Kastor Vel, CEO and Chairman, after sister Semele Vel passed away and his husband Thorgan Vör cashed out their 8%, while younger brother Romulus Vel sold his 6% and pulled out the rest off the holding. The company is famous for their sensational news channel, Outer Rim Broadcast Network, as well as their luxury cruise voyage offerings. They are considered by the general public to be an aggressive monopolist company, with toxic workplace culture and rampant predatory advertising practices. However, they also pays their employees adequately, which is the only thing helping their reputation. The company has not been performing as well under the leadership of Kastor, however they still have sizeable capital, and they have been trying to stabilize their profitability, as well as pump their growth that has been plummeting in the last 15 years. Recently, the company has successfully acquired Pearce Global Network, one of their competitor in the field of media, and integrated it to their portfolio. The company also has been trying to expand their business to the real-estate industry, so far with a mixed results.
RATIONALE
Darkstar Agvel was found by Luxor Vel, a carpenter who migrated to Ord Trasi to work on his uncle's small advertising company. After his uncle passed, Luxor pivoted to the media industry and found success due to his aggresive, yet charming approach to reporting and public relations. Under his guidance, Darkstar Agvel grew exponentially and expanded to multiple industries. After his death, the company was taken over by Kastor Vel, his eldest son (so far an NPC).

owns 2% of the company, all of it was inherited, yet has not been anywhere around the company in the last three years.
