So as it is, standard master vote rules apply. If you vote yes alright if you vote no offer constructive advice for what they can do to improve.

I say yes, primarily for her efforts in our dominions and such where she's proven to be capable of being left to her own devices in posting without severe back-to-back posting even when nobody was there to tell her otherwise as a new writer on the board. She's organized a dominion herself, something I was impressed with (It never occurred to me to try to do so, so she's better than me in that regard).

Although I needn't include it, I will provide constructive criticism even though I am voting for her promotion:

• When making quality posts, it is not so much about getting the point across or simply extending what could be one post into two posts. Try to tell a big piece of a story with every post you make - make it vivid, make it real. Give raw emotion where it is needed, and be monotonous where it is not. Don't just paint a picture with your words, create life.
• Try to go back and re-read your posts before you submit them, check for grammatical errors or repetitive words. Although it is an elementary thing, to reduce these to nearly none makes a better writer than one who elaborates to no end.
• Have restraint. This is the most important thing for someone that intends to write a force user, or anyone with anything that makes you a walking weapon. Even though you may believe yourself to be more skilled than your opponent, never dismiss an attack or a portion of a post as unimportant, and never pull out equipment that has gone an entire duel without use in order to avoid a hit. There are times where it is better as a writer to take a hit than to not, and contrary to popular belief it is far harder to see when that is than when it is not.

I want to see you succeed as a writer, so please don't be offended if anything I've noted sound critical of you, I want simply the best from you. (Assuming you read this.)

Everyone has different standards.

Thread count is too low, character could use a bit more development, some of the posts in the duels I read were troublesome in nature (power gamey) though the majority were fun reads, also not enough duels, also a large percentage of listed threads are labeled as 'ongoing.'

That said, quality of writing is very excellent. Fun stuff. Resub in a month with continued activity at current rate and a couple more duels against more experienced duelists to show a test of metal and I'd say yes.

But if we're listing reasons behind our decisions now, I think it would be beneficial to for the other Lords who said yes to list their reasons, as it's educational to the individual being voted on, indicating what he/she is doing right, but its also educational to the other Lords reading the thread, and gives an indication for those who might be gearing up for master as to what each individual Lord is looking for when they examine a master application. [member="Mordecai Zambrano"].

Typically, if it's constructive criticism then such measures aren't needed.

It's all about story for me. On my previous master account, Dranok Lussk, I never did any PvP duels or whatnot to become a master or had any requirements. As long as the member is active, supports the faction, and strives to grow further even as a master, it's more then well deserved. Darth Arcanix meets all of these requirements that I listed and has also been nothing but a delight OOCly and is willing to work and adapt with other members.

PvP never plays a role when I vote for master. If I wanted tons of PvP, then I would play an MMO. I'm here to write stories and I'm sure Arcanix is - especially since s/he's doing such a great job at it on top of some badass character development.

I was pretty on the fence about it until I read your comment. I am voting Yes. However, that is with the stipulation that I think more work needs to be put towards actually getting into the depth of development, beyond just the goal of development. It's about the journey, not necessarily the destination, and I would like to see a bit more movement towards that.
