Chapter I: The Sleeping Wolf
Sarlow Zambrano was born into the oppressive grandeur of House Zambrano on Panatha, the son of the feared Dark Lord Kaine Zambrano and his wife, Salara. From a young age, Sarlow exhibited a dangerous blend of arrogance and haughtiness, traits that set him apart in a family renowned for its ruthless ambition. His life took a dark turn when a woman, seeking vengeance for a slight he had unknowingly inflicted, attempted to seduce him. When he rejected her advances, she cursed him with lycanthropy, branding him a monster. His father, ever the enforcer of the Zambrano will, swiftly executed her, but the curse had taken root in Sarlow's heart.
Consumed by a fearsome rage and a desire to escape his destiny, Sarlow fled from the oppressive shadow of his family. He renounced his heritage and embarked on a new path as a gunslinger and mercenary. His life as an outlaw was marked by a relentless drive to deny his past and forge a new identity far removed from the Zambrano legacy.
Fate, however, was not done with him. Sarlow's life took a pivotal turn when a woman, claiming to be his daughter, sought him out. After confirming her lineage through a DNA test, he reluctantly returned to the Zambrano house, bringing her to meet her grandparents. His daughter, Ara, would eventually ascend to the throne as Queen of Panatha. Her departure from the throne left Sarlow feeling unmoored, but he remained at his parents' side, taking his place once more as a Prince in the Zambrano court when his father reclaimed power.
The destruction of Pancath Reach by the Eternal Empire was a turning point that deepened Sarlow's resolve. As his homeworld was ravaged, he shepherded his people to safety, but the loss fueled a vengeful fury within him. He vowed to exact retribution on those responsible for the devastation. Later, he encountered and fell in love with Lina Djo on Malsheem. Their whirlwind romance culminated in marriage, and Lina bore him a daughter. On their wedding night, Sarlow was gifted a powerful ally by his father: Leliah. The bond between Leliah and Sarlow was unbreakable, and together they had triplets, marking a new chapter in his dark life.
However, the truth that shattered his world was the final blow. The revelation left him further entangled in the dark side, his heart hardened against the world that had betrayed him. Embracing his Sith legacy with renewed fervor, Sarlow—now known as Darth Garoul—turned to his cults for strength and vengeance. The Nightclaw Covenant, alongside the Moonfang Order, Bloodbound Disciples, Vargulf Ascendants, and the Dreadpack, became instruments of his wrath.
As a Dark Lord, Darth Garoul's ambition and vengeance drive him to dispatch his cults across the galaxy, sowing chaos and destruction in his wake. His goal is clear: to exact a reckoning upon those who have wronged him and to solidify his power as the true embodiment of the dark side's wrath. His journey from an arrogant prince to a vengeful Sith Lord is marked by a relentless pursuit of power and a profound distrust of all who might stand in his way.
