HISTORY:
Born as Alana Celestia, the young woman grew up on the backwater world of Dantooine, and fell into jedi training relatively early in her life. She disliked the order however, as it clashed with her ideas of freedom and that power should be used to protect the weak and punish the wicked. Tradgey struck her early, as during her time as a padawan, pirates found her family on Dantooine and slaughtered them to the last. Alana attempted to persue them, but her master at the time reasoned with her, telling her that the force would deal with the pirates in due time, and that to directly go after them would only bring shame upon her parents memory. While Alana struggled with this concept, she let her master have his way, but there was a part of her that resented being kept from having her revenge. In the years following, she rose to the rank of jedi knight, and went about the galaxy seeking to bring harmony in her wake. Still, as she traveled, Alana found herself unhappy with how she was to resolve issues for the people of the galaxy; letting tyrants go free, having to spare the lives of criminals. This ate at her, undermining her faith in the order time and time again, as it felt they were being negligent in their duties. As time went on, one mission to Onderon changed everything. Alana fell in love with a minor noblewoman during her mission, and even having complied it, she found herself considering the idea of leaving the order to serve as her lovers personal bodyguard. She indeed pursued that route, and for a time everything seemed to go well. Alana felt rather happy with her lot in life, being free of condemnation by the order, and left to her own devices, it was only a matter of time before things went south.
Alana's lover died from an attack, not on her life, but on the ex-jedi's, as a rogue darksider sought to kill the knight as a rite of passage. The ship they had used frequently was rigged to explode, and Alana's body was severely damaged from the fight, chemical burns wrecked her form, and she found herself giving into her hate and rage to power through her wounds to win her battle. She placed herself into a sensory depraving suit, protecting her exposed and venerable form from the rest of the world around her. Her eyes and face were badly damaged from her battle as well, so Alana turned to cybernetics to repair the damage, losing her signature red eyes in exchange for cybernetics, as well as losing her hearing in favor for enhanced hearing devices. Looking into the identity of the darksider, she learned he was a fallen jedi, one that the jedi order had let loose, hoping that exile would serve to guide him back to the light. It was that day that Alana died with her lover, and took on the mantle of Darth Malevolum. She made it her goal to topple the Jedi Order, hold them accountable for their lack of control of it's members, and seeking to restore balance within the galaxy; aiming to create a galaxy that might have saved her loved one from dying. Several years have passed since the tragedy with her beloved, but while Malevolum's wounds have healed, she has refused to step away from the persona she has created for herself. To her, there can be no return to a normal life, not until her work is done.

APPEARANCE:
Malevolum used to be seen as a beautiful woman, and in fact she still is underneath all of the armor. Her face has been marked from that fateful day when her lover was slain, and her skin under the suit holds a strange hue to it, as without the first layer of her skin it's easier to see the veins within her body. Her hair has morphed from a snow white into an almost ashy grey, and her eyes hold a strange light to them that comes from her cybernetics. The jawplate around her chin and up to her ears is partly for cosmetics, and partly to protect her ear implants; though both purposes are served rather well. Malevolum encases herself in a black metalic sensory depriving combat suit, which initially she required to allow her wounds time to heal. She has long since grown past the point where she needs it, but the protection it gives her is something she is unable to let go of; the inability to feel.

PROS & CONS (Required: 2 Cons Minimum) :
Pros:
Force Sensitive: Malevolum is skilled in using her force powers, and has no reserves about holding it back if she is in danger.
Cybernetics: Malevolum has had to have her eyes replaced with cybernetic implants after her injuries, as such she can cycle through several different vision types when it suits her.
Tracker: Malevolum used to be a hunter back on her home world, and still knows how to hunt and track, even without her force abilities.
Djem So User: Malevolum relies on Form V, leaning on using her rage and power to overwhelm an opponent in lightsaber combat.
Enhanced Strength: The medical treatment Malevolum has given herself has resulted in her muscle tissue being reinforced and augmented beyond normal levels. Using Cardio-Muscular implants to repair her damaged body, she is far stronger and tougher than she might appear.
Martial Combatant: Malevolum, true to her Echani nature, is a skilled martial combatant in hand to hand combat.
Cons:
Raw Nerves: Malevolum's injuries have healed, but the damage to her top levels of skin is rather permanent. Given her time within her armored suit, she feels extremely venerable given the sensitivity of her skin underneath the armored shell she wears. If her suit was to be breached in combat, or being encountered outside of it, Malevolum is very easily agitated and unsettled by this vulnerability.
Emotionally Venerable: Malevolum does her best to limit emotional attachments with those near her, knowing all to well that it is something that makes her drop her guard.
Own Worst Enemy: Malevolum suffers from a degree of insecurity, believing herself to be a monster who kills anyone who gets too close to her. For this reason, she keeps people at an arms length, and keeps her armor up in order to scare people away.
