Strengths -
Zaren is an amazing lightsaber duelist, and this has no changed with his new undead features. He also works well alone, and has a level head about himself. Due to cybernetics Necros can reattach any body party to his own, and his death has made him feel no pain.
Weakness -
Though Zaren's connection to the Force is strong, his abilities within it are average at best, relying more on his skills with the saber than his abilities with the Force. Zaren is also has no memory of his past, due to the new features of his undead state. Zaren is alone in this galaxy, and is, for the most part a pacifist which makes him look weak to other Sith Lords compared to him. Necros has an intense fear of fire.
Biography -
Zaren grew up on Axxila as a child without any parents, the rough nature of the planet made him learn how to survive on his own wits quickly. He always found himself in a situation where he had to be a hero, and was able to stop crimes from happening a many of times. With this, the boy's good deeds were not left unseen. A Jedi by the name of Rahl Cereas found Zaren among the slums of Axxila. He then began to watch the boy's deeds, believing he could become a great Jedi one day, he gave the boy a choice to return to Tython with him. With wide eyes, Zaren took this chance to become something greater than an orphan without a purpose.
When he began his training, Zaren knew that it would he a hard change to adapt to, but none the less he put all his might into it. As he trained with other Padawans, many of the masters noticed he did socialize well with them, but he also did not fight with them. He could work with them when the need arose and that was enough for them they assumed. When the boy was chosen by Rahl to become his apprentice, the boy was socializing more with his master than he had with the others. As he continued his apprenticeship, Zaren and Rahl went on many missions against the darkside.
Further into, Zaren showed signs of becoming a successful Sentinel and Shadow of the Jedi. When the Jedi Trails to become a Knight was presented to him, Zaren passed with flying colors, and was made into a Jedi Sentinel. Zaren's conception to battle the darkside was obsolete and made him a force to be reckoned with against dark warriors of the Sith. Zaren was used to being alone so his ability as a warrior of the light was highly praised. Zaren was given the chance to become a master, to which he took.
Zaren then started to over see the training of other Sentinels of the Jedi. Sadly, though, Zaren was dispatched to the front lines of the battle against the One Sith. Zaren was killed in a duel against another Sith Lord. With the loss of a new Jedi Master, Zaren's body was taken by the Sith for experiments to which they pumped his body full of the darkside.
During the events of the Netherworld, the barrier that separated the physical world from the undead world was broken, and Zaren's spirit was instantly returned to his body through a ritual used by the Sith. When Zaren awoken, he was filled with pain, and sadness. His body was torn, and sown back together using cybernetics. And though he was alive, his body was not. Through the massive energy pumped into his undead body, Zaren was now a warrior of darkness without a heart beat. Only the darkside kept him alive.
Using the chaos of the Netherworld happening, Zaren donned a new name as he took up the mantle of Lord of the Sith: Darth Necros. Under training to understand his new body, and it's limits, Necros became disgusted with the One Sith after his own studying on them and their history through greater details. Necros abandoned the One Sith, and the Republic.
It was shortly after that Necros would meet a Mirrorverse of himself. After a long discussion with the Mirrorverse of himself, Necros realized that this version was a Sith himself, and that in another universe he was tainted by his own greed. Necros killed this Mirrorverse of himself, and wished only to be left alone.
