- Trapped grip - The integrated biometric authentication access system allows only the designer of the weapon to wield it. The hilt will discharge a powerful electric shock in the event the weapon is used by an unauthorized wielder, with the potential to cause severe electrical burns to the culprit.

DESCRIPTION
The personal weapon of Darth Vyle was designed during the end of her Sith training, shortly before her promotion to Sith Knight. Its hilt is decorated with rancor bone from her homeworld of Dathomir, and given a curve to comfortably fit her palm. The weapon produces an odd, sickle-shaped blade, reflecting Vyle's unique relationship to the Sith Order as a sorceress trained in the ways of the Witches of Dathomir. Her blade resembles the lightwhips that many witches favor, though it is functionally no different from any ordinary lightsaber. As a Knight, she modified the weapon to be functional underwater; gave it a power adjustment knob, allowing her to dial down its powers for training purposes; and trapped the hilt itself to prevent unwanted or nosey outsiders from attempting to steal or use her weapon against her. The kyber crystal at the weapon's heart was bled towards the end of her training, forcibly attuning it to her through the dark side of the Force, giving her both an affinity for the weapon and the ability to more easily locate it if it is lost.
