STRENGTHS:
-Sage: Dasead has spent years in study at the Jedi Archives. His wisdom is equal to the brightest of the Order, though few know of his existence.

-Gifted in the Force: Dasaed has yet to find himself in combat, though he has acquired many powers of the mind during his training. Not fond of lightsaber combat, Dasead seeks to trick and confuse his enemies in battle.

-Introvert: Preferring to spend most of his time alone, Dasead does not work well with others.

-Blunt: Dasead sees no issue with speaking his mind. He often is not aware that he states his opinion as truth, potentially harming his relationship with others.

APPEARANCE:
The arachnid Harch were not a common sight throughout the galaxy. Their six red eyes and eight limbs were enough to intimidate most species, and, despite his bookish personality, Dasead was no exception .

BIOGRAPHY:
Dasead was taken from his home-world Secundus Ando by a Jedi Master Attaus Maxio. The Quarian Jedi sensed an anomaly in the force from the neighboring planet of Ando and decided to investigate. Among one of the lesser nests, Attaus found Dasead, a young hatchling. A midi-chlorian test confirmed his suspicions. With the blessing of the nest’s leader, he took him to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. There, Dasead officially became a Jedi initiate. After years of training, Attaus selected Dasead as an apprentice. By that time, Attaus was of advanced age and had trained many Jedi to knighthood before him. He was a fierce warrior as a young man, but during Dasead’s apprenticeship his time was strictly devoted to study of the force. As a result, much of Dasead’s training was spent in academic work. He took great interest in the knowledge and wisdom contained in the Temple’s Archives. When he ascended to the rank of Jedi Knight, Dasead took the path of the Jedi Consular. Sadly, Attaus died shortly after the Knighting ceremony.

Dasaed had few acquaintances during his time in the Jedi Temple, and his only close friend was his Master. After his passing, Dasaed devoted even more time to studying the seemingly unlimited knowledge the Archives provided. While other Jedi his age explored the galaxy or joined battle against the Order’s enemies, Dasead remained in the Temple. His only social interaction came with elderly Jedi who rarely traveled, the librarians responsible for care of the Archives, and the projections of the many holocrons he studied. Dasead learned a great deal of force abilities over the years, but never got the chance to act on them. In fact, after he crafted his lightsaber as a Padawan, he placed it in storage as he saw no need for it.

Dasead was granted access to the Sith holocrons stored in the archives, and had studied them for several years under the careful watch of their custodians. However, the secrets of one holocron eluded him. A Sith Lord by the name Pelicus has unwilling to give Dasead access to his knowledge. He demanded his holocron be returned to his resting place on the planet of Garel, only then would he allow him in. Jedi Masters who also studied these holocrons considered Pelicus to be a Sith of little importance, and none bothered to make the journey. It was an obvious trap they said. Dasead become increasingly frustrated, he had never been denied a learning opportunity before. Pelicus knew exactly how to get under his exoskeleton. One night, after others had long left the Archives, Dasead departed the temple for the first time, Pelicus’s holocron in hand.

After discovering the holocron's secret of battle meditation, Dasead returned to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. Despite his objections and pleas for forgiveness, Dasead was exiled by the Jedi Order. With no other home to return to, Dasead roamed the under-levels of the planet. Using his force powers, he would trick and swindle others to earn credits and stay alive. A few months into his exile, Dasead was approached by a recruiter for the Zweihander Union. They wanted anyone they could get for their newly formed faction. Dasead took the man up on his offer. Upon revealing his training as a Jedi Knight, he was immediately granted the rank of Captain and awarded command of his own ship.
