-Combat Shakes: In the midst of combat, Dash will sometimes experience sudden breakdowns of anxiety. His breathe becomes shallow, his heart rate speeds up, and his mind becomes clouded, disrupting his focus and compromising his abilities.
APPEARANCE:
Dash is a handsome young man just entering the prime of his life. Being a pilot, his body possesses little to no scars from combat, though it is well trained and maintained. His roots within a farming settlement have led him to branch out style wise, as he prefers finely made shirts and tailored jackets to anything else. In or near the cockpit he wears a general purpose flight suit, not caring to stand out much in that regard.
BIOGRAPHY:
Dash Typho was born on a basket world within the Unknown Regions, to a family of farmers and herders. While his father managed the family's primary source of wealth and income, his mother was a member of the planet's starfighter corps, protecting the world from the likes of pirates and other malicious groups. Though his father would've preferred it otherwise, Dash grew enamored by flying, taking after his mother. As he grew up, though he would mainly work the land, in his spare time he would read whatever material he could get his hands on that related to starfighters and starships, from maintenance guides to advertisements.
After enough pestering of his mother as a child, she eventually promised to give him a shot within the corps once he was at the age to join, sixteen. He couldn't wait to grow up. Once the day came, his first stop after breakfast was to the main settlement of the world to enlist as a pilot. The test wasn't too difficult, consisting of answering some in general questions about flying, along with a live-flying exercise. Once he passed, he was assigned to light duties such as freighter flying and escorts, or patrol sweeps. Not as exciting as he'd hoped, but he was on the path that he wanted.
His first taste of real combat came when the Eternal Empire finally expanded to his sector. His planet was one of the first to make contact, the first to fight, and the first to fall. Though their government knew their fight was already lost, they still chose to serve as a distraction and stop gap to give their allied worlds and own citizens time to evacuate and flee. Dash was apart of the second wave of fighter pilots in his corps to join the fight, led in a squadron headed by his own mother. It went about as well as any other offensive against the Empire; a quick, silent, death blow. What remained of the his planet's star corps after the initial battle were assigned to escort civilian ships out of the system to more friendly space, and Dash was one of them.
Several years later, Dash has found a place among the growing Eclipse Rebellion, whose embers of hope have been spreading across the coldness of the Empire's space and territories. His skills as a pilot have sharpened and grown, enough that he's been relegated his own squadron and the rank of Wing Commander, where he runs strike missions and escorts to further the cause.
