BIOGRAPHY
Daska was born and raised in Nar Shadaa, and she hated the criminal life there even before she fully grasped its existence. Her parents were both drug dealers, unbeknown to her for a long time, and when she discovered she made a vow that she would be better than them, that she would rise above the smuggling and deathsticks and become a powerful figure recognised across the galaxy. She moved to Coruscant, the big city planet, so she could get work and begin her rise to power. It was then that she realised her Force sensitivity, but she didn't have anywhere to learn how to use it, meaning that her only way to train was with the people she encountered. She began with working as a waitress, and after three years of low pay and long hours managed to purchase ownership of the bar. Under her control, the bar began to generate more income than it had ever seen before, and she turned it from a sketchy corner of the city into a respected drinking venue. Unfortunately, just as she was toying with the idea of expanding into a whole chain of bars and other hospitality venues, a suspected sabotage in form of a fire closed the place down permanently and she was back at the beginning, but the idea was still there and one day Daska intended to use it. She got a job as a journalist and went around meeting important people who could help her once her dream became a reality. The friends she made help her make a solid business plan and even offered loans, but she rejected them all. Once Voss had been planned out in meticulous detail and Daska had reached her target fund, she launched the company.
PERSONALITY
Daska Voss is a cutthroat businesswoman on her own but desperate to get to the top. Determined and driven, with a quiet confidence that intimidates many. She doesn't like to break rules, but she's happy to work her way around loopholes if it's necessary and even use Jedi mind tricks as a last resort. She never takes anything for granted and will shut down anybody who thinks that she does.
