DESCRIPTION
Dasu’r Juhr is an old Iron wrought pistol, using heavily outdated slugthrower components. The the basis of the weapon is a revolving six cylinder .380 caliber slugthrower with a double action. The weapon has considerable muzzle velocity given its antiquated style, firing rounds at 300m/s. Its reloaded by pulling the cylinder pin beneath the barrel forward, the hammer to half cock. This unlocks the cylinder and allows it to open to receive rounds into the chambers. The cylinder pin is locked into place by a full turn to the right, and unlocked by a full turn to the left. The barrel is a smooth bore rather than rifled, and the grip is simple well polished veshok wood inscribed with Sith Runeshttp://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Sith_runes, with the barrel similarly inscribed. The barrel is inscribed with the words "And I will fear no Evil", branded into it upon forging.
It is crafted from iron and dust from an energy crystal, and forged within the Valley of the Jedi, almost indestructible by normal means. Lightsabers, and physical damage are almost unnoticeable, the normal wear and tear on a barrel completely unnoticeable. Powerful Force Users may be able to damage it through means of the Force, and using Force Light has been suspected to at the very least discharge the weapons power, and if done by a small group, destroy the weapon completely.
The Cylinder is the most unique part of the weapon, heavily altered and imbued with great Force power. The Cylinder is built around a Qixoni Crystal, a strong Dark Side crystal known to increase the Force Abilities of those using it, as well as being able to enhance the cutting power of a Lightsaber fused together with a Mephite Crystal, normally aligned with the Light Side of the force. By fusing these crystals they are able empower the weapon with the Force. Normally these are used to empower the wielder, however instead this fused crystal has been focused and refined into a focal point for the weapon, having no effect on the wielder’s abilities. Arrayed around this are six chambers, each smooth and crafted for a .380 caliber round. Beneath each of these chambers, touching the crystal, is an Aur Diamond. These ancient celestial diamonds have been used as the vessel for the Colt's true powers.
Using Force Imbuement, the Diamonds are vessels for powerful Force abilities bound within the weapon. The ability the Aur Diamond manifests is based on whether the Crystal was charged with the Dark Side or the Light Side of the Force. Each diamond contains enough power to manifest a single usage before they must be recharged by the wielder. Once the six Aur Diamonds have been depleted they can be recharged, even by someone who does not know the two abilities bound within the diamonds, as they are attuned and imbued with the spell and only need their power recharged, though doing so is extremely tiring and requires the power of a Force Master to do so, as well as their full concentration. Replenishing even a single diamond in combat is impossible as it is time consuming, requires such great focus and concentration, and is physically and mentally tiring, and all six leaves the master drained and unfit for combat for some time, with most only able to recharge the weapon once per day.
When activated through the Force, the Aur Diamond transfers its ability into an alchemically altered bullet, cleansing it of all other effects and abilities, focusing only on the single ability held within the diamond. Once fired the bullet acts as any other piece of lead, and is still affected by the Force, shields, armor, and flesh, though it is resistant to Lightsabers.
When empowered with Dark Side energy, the aur diamond holds the powerful Sith Spell, Odojinya, or the Dark Side Web. When the Dark Side charged bullet comes in contact with something, it unleashes the fearsome Sith Magic trapped within, possibly trapping the target inside the Dark Side Web, leeching their life force and vitality, and trapping them in place, binding their arms and legs for a short time. The bullet itself is ripped apart by the Sith Magic. Initially, the web, once released covers a significant area from the bullet, almost two meters, quickly wrapping around an individual target and the energy lattice spreading over their form in its entirety. While there are ways to escape the web without being grasped by it, it is not easy and the web closes quickly around its victims.
These spells however last much shorter than if it were used by a very powerful Sith Sorcerer, though its draining effects are still quite painful and noticeable, rumored to be enough to exhaust even a Force Master, though this may be very rare circumstance. Through multiple rounds, the spells draining effects become prolific, possibly severing a beings Force connection, sapping them of their ability to manipulate the Force or killing them outright.
When empowered with Light Side energy, the aur diamond holds the powerful pillar of light ability, Force Light. When the bullet contacts something, it emits a bright white light from it, engulfing a nearby target in its purifying rays. There are ways to avoid it, though these are difficult given the small radius of the round though it only affects a single target per bullet. The bullet is destroyed by the torrent of powerful Light Side energy, and the Dark Side is purged from an affected target. This has the ability to damage Dark Side spirits, sithspawn, and alchemical creations, albeit to a lesser extent than an experienced master of the ability. The ability is not as powerful as a group of Force Masters, though its effects are still very powerful, rumored to be enough to temporarily purge a being of the Dark Side, causing those devoted to it immense pain as it leaves their bodies. Through the use of multiple rounds, the abilities effects become prolific, possibly severing a being’s connection to the Dark Side for a prolonged period of time.
The pistol uses specially crafted bullets made of Lignan Ore and lead with a tiny sliver of an Aur Diamond, designed to enhance the power of the spell, and accept the Force energy easier, allowing the transfer from the Aur Diamond within the cylinder. When not empowered by the weapon however, the bullet uses a Devaronian Blood Poison Gem tip, which allows the bullet to cause excruciating pain to its victims. The longer the bullet remains embedded in a living being, the more pain they suffer. Because of the Alchemical alterations, the bullet is slightly lightsaber resistant, normally simply being deflected by a lightsaber instead of disintegrated by the plasma blade. This also makes it excellent for armor penetration and stabbing through thick hides of creatures.
