Data is Beautiful (Raxus)

They were lucky she had a retainer. It was simple, really, don’t mess with a select list of organizations and more money than she could use would flow. And for Jenn, that wasn’t a lot of money. A woman of simple tastes, she liked to have her ship, and y’know, property on Lianna. The number of computer systems on that world? And data was beautiful, data and information made her happy. Was that odd? Perhaps. But it worked for her.

And right now she was aboard her Santhe Challenger, the one she got in a dark purple. It was a nice ship, and it was home. Heading out to the the worlds she was pointed towards. She made the trip from Tion out to Raxus and that was where she was now docking. Once the ship was landed, the dark haired hybrid stepped out of the ship and looked around. Right, now where was she supposed to go?

The world was nice, not too cold, not too warm. Still she had a plaid black and purple shirt and slim fitting black denim pants, boots and a backpack that carried her personal datapad. Finding a map when she was landing, she wanted to find the right place to be. A coffee shop near the capital city’s business district. From there she would hopefully be able to gain access to the systems, or find the right people.

There had to be an underground here, right? And those folk always disliked their government.

What was the government on this world anyway? Stepping into the coffee shop and ordering an iced tea, Jenn took up a seat in the back, and started to get to work. Find the data, find the people who could help her. Of course, there was a… bird in her ship, apparently it was a ‘loan’ from a ‘friend’ of her ‘employer.’

One day she was going to buy her own planet.

But… so much fun data!

Really? The data she was finding on this world was pretty boring. After a little bit more, it seemed there wasn’t much going on with Raxus. They were pretty… bland. And she was working on slicing into the local police records, there had to be SOMEONE worth something on this world. Someone she could get to work as a gun so she could get physically in front of the right computers.

Taking a sip of her stimcaf, she go back to work. The next step, once she was in the police records was to see what crimes were committed, what criminals were here and how they could be exploited. Of course, all this data was being saved to her terminal’s personal hard drive. She’d send the copy of the data to her employer.

And really, low level crimes. Maybe that wasn’t the route to go. The one that was? Finding the suppliers to this world. They could be looking for a foothold, Jenn wasn’t sure. Accessing the next set of files on the local police system, it was their fire arms and airspeeder providers. She was going to need to do some actual walking around soon. That was going to be fun.

If she found what she was looking for, obviously.

Falks

The Mercenary
Falks stepped into the cafee to get a bit of rest before continuing his search for his great score. He walked up the the counter and bought a bottle of tea, his footsteps were heavy and quite loud against the smooth marble floor. He most surtainly wasen't a normal person, as he was wearing armor indoor, so you would presume he worked for himself or some private organisation.

Falks sat down at a table nearby yours browsing his holopad, looking at the galaxy news.

See, what Jenn really needed was to get this information down. She found the crimes, and was working on storing that data while running another program to ping manufacturers. Who made the Silver Jedi their gear? Where did the weak spots exist? This was something she’d been doing around the galaxy, to all factions that she could get into. Really, it was just good business, have all this information and sell it? Sure thing, easy credits.

Watching the new person enter the café, she looked up from her datapad then back down. Wearing armor here? What… maybe he could be useful. Especially if he was up for working for credits. That was the best thing about some people.

“So, where you from?” She spoke, without looking up from her datapad, but clearly loud enough for him, and only him to hear.

"That is quite a difficult and personal qustion you're asking miss, but i can let you know im Human." He looks onto his Holopad reading comics as he cassually takes a sip from his tea. "Was there anything you'd like to ask? besides my heritage." moves his chair to sit at the womans table. "Names Sam Jone but i'm known as Falks."

Was it difficult? She figured where a person was from was a standard question. Brown eyes looking up from her data pad, she surveyed him. "You a native to this world?" Or worse yet, in her mind, an enforcement officer.

If not she could probably talk him into helping her. No need to give him the reason, just that she could use help.

"Am i native to this world? no i never had a place to call home for quite some time. I just arrived because i had a person to find here." Falks looks at [member="Jennifer Blanchard"] and wondered for a minute. "I assume you want something from me, a favor prehaps or a deal. normal people tend to stay away from a buisness oriented looking fella like me." Falks scratched his scalp and placed his bottled tea on the table.

"Me? Shy? No way. You look worldly. But maybe we can help one another. I need some information on supply lines of this world, and checking it out physically would be smart." And clearly Jenn was petite. Not much to scare people. Even her Force powers were on the lame for combat scale.

"And I might be able to help you find your person?"

Falks exsended his arm over the table reaching for a handshake, he attempts to make eyecontact to make sure she is listening. "Deal, but you'd have to add alittle bonus at the end." Falks palm is rough and full of calasis, by his figure and the way he acts, you can tell he is one persistant mothe.. - person. "But you'd have to tell me where to start and what to do." lets out a slight relaxed smile, as he made a new "friend".

Jenn was pretty charismatic. Should she have a dice rolling character sheet it would be one of her skills. That kind of rogue. Smart and able to get through a few people. She nodded to [member="Falks"]. "Well... pretty simple. Any chance you want to help me snoop around at the docks?"

Looking at him as she prepared to shut down her datapad, sending the maps she needed to her personal equipment, she nodded. "If you mean credits, sure."

"Sure thing, should i bring my multi tools just incase?" Falks took his bottle of tea in hand and raise from his chair, moving towards the door, where his car was parked majesticly ouside. Falks seemed to be hyped for the new job. Not because of his job, but because he was thinking about the new weaponry, should i use? 2 handcannons and a vibro knife, or one of my new lmgs, or should i use the bow i got, boy its nice that i can finally put my new weapons to a test.

"Multi tools? I mean anything electronic I can probably hack. But if a door needs taking down. .." She trailed off. Or a guard taken down, was the part she was not going to say. Getting to her feet and picking up her data pad she smiled. Looking over [member="Falks"] she was hoping this was the right call.

"So first time here? Who are you looking for? "

Falks

The Mercenary
"A guy called Titan." Falks opens up the trunk of a car that looks like a mustang. Falks straps on a west tacical west with magazine pouches and a dump pouch. He fills the pouches with magazines for his assult rifle and holsters his handcannons. He then asks. "want to borrow anything?" as he gets ready to leave by covering himself with a long black cloak.

Looking at the car, Jenn shook her head. Lots of weapons. Sure. She had her pistol, and might make a shoto some day, but for now? She was going to stick to her data. "I... I'm all set."

She herself had her flannel on under her black coat. No cloaks for her. Hell, her pistol wasn't even on her. But a simple thought to [member="Jared Ovmar"] s familiar. The gift to help her out. And with [member="Falks"] being an unknown, who knew.

"having second thought?" Falks chuckled softly. "you're studdering." Falks handed her a pistol, with a similar design to an m1911. "If all comes to it use it." He then pulled out an bottle of expensive scotch taking a swig. "For good messure" he said under his breath, getting mentally siked for the job.

Second thoughts? Not for the credits she was earning. Smirking she shook her head. "No nerves. Just wasn't expecting this preparedness." Watching him, she took the pistol from him.

Checking the safety, she looked at him. "Only in case of emergency."

"well or if you just feel like shooting, really i dont care credits are credits to me.." Falks closes the trunk with a slam. "Lets go? i hate sitting around scratching my butt all day, so please lead me to the ships."

Coming out of hyperspace, Oka found a planet he'd never seen before. It was called Raxus apparently. He flew in his FT-18 Pillar as he came into the atmosphere. Coming closer to the ground, he did see buildings... and a ship. He was a little concerned until he saw no one was in it. When he landed, he landed beside the ship. Oka recognized it, but forgot what it was called. His droid could help but you know droids. After landing, he jumped out with his astromech as his black cloak flapped. Oka wore black robes, a cloak, with lightsabers, and a pistol. Well prepared. Walking up to the ship, he analyzed it with the force and the eye just in case this was a trap for a hunter. It seemed okay so he came close but didn't go in. "B7, we got to get one of these." the astromech made its happy noises as it came rolling by his side.

Jenn shook her head. She could do more damage with her holonet terminal than she could with a gun. Still, it was good to have, in case something went wrong. Y’know, like she was getting pursued by the wrong crowd. That had happened a few times. She looked at [member="Falks"] and nodded.

“This way.” She nodded. In the Force, the student of the Baran Do lead the way, remembering the map. There was a port near by, not the one her ship was at, but somewhere else. She could feel the familiar following them. “I can’t promise you’re going to need to hurt anyone, but I need to get some information from the port.” Was really the whole thing.

Hopefully no one was messing with her home.

"Well im mostly interested in my payment, and if i can get payed without hurting someone i'd be more than happy about it." Falks followed her. "so who are these people that might be guarding the port?" Falks tried to gather some information about his possible enemies, just to make sure he brought enough firepower.
