Daughters of Midoria

Emberlene's Daughter, The Jedi Generalist
Yamatai was massive, designed as a training hub by the jedi master herself. It served many purposes from giving artisan's a workshop the likes of which they could only dream to use in a life time. She had studied and held a holocron vault within it. Her memories of the holocrons and using them, of studying them... what she could recall and the information was there. She had much more as she sat in the center of the station. The room wasn't massive but it was designed to give her a complete view of everythign using the holograms and simulate environments as the jedi master sat there. Cool air dancing along her skin, the tiny hairs standing up with gooseflesh and her eyes were closed. She reached out with the force allowing it to guide her thoughts along the length of the agena within the walls. Force connections laid throughout the station, the holocron vault, the hanger bay with different experimental ships that were being designed or worked on. The trade hub itself where different jedi artisan's shared and showed their crafts off to each other. Bartering for supplies to make something they might have wanted with their imagination. She had the open area for younglings and children to come and see the tools of the jedi.

Feeling inexplicably drawn towards Jedi Master Ike's location I walk from the dark ally's I was treading looking for a quick steal and easy credits I look at the master and see the tools. I am drawn towards the many different lightsabers, particularly looking at the curved handled, straight handled, and double bladed variants.

THe jedi master stood there and was looking at everyone who moved past them. Artisan's showing off other equipment and then there was someone approaching one of the tables of specialized hilts... Different materials that the different artisan's have crafted to graduate and show their understanding of the materials. It was tradition afterall to see what they could make for someone or in this case for someone who could be drawn to it. "Welcome." A smile on her face while she sat there and stretched out her hands. They had many different types for people and exotic styles was important in some cases. Or they were looking to attact some of the other jedi to try different styles.

"Yes they are." THe jedi master was looking at the boy and held a hand to the side. Fingers moving for a moment so she could bring one of the seats for herself and sat down letting the display illuminate the saber hilts. "Most of the pieces here in the area are for lightsabers. An artisan's workshop allows any number of designs to be made and given out." There was the smirk on her face though and she was glad to see someone taking an interest in the different works. Few went for the really high tiered materials these days and not many she had seen had the knack for making saber hilts into an artform as it should be.

SHe bowed her head to his question. "yes I am and yes a jedi can sense the force within a person if they are strong enough." She said it while watching him and letting her own mind go around the area then focus on him. Her eyes remained on him and small black pools of thought and interest. The jedi master might not know him but she didn't need to know everyone... they were important and giving them her undivided attention was something that kept her around. Circling back though as she produced a small cup of tea for herself and extending her punkie out took a small sip with a smile on her face. Convection to heat the water and make it steam a little.

I look at the single saber first and sit down infront of the selection as I examine the piece. "I rather like this one" I point to the curved one with the finger grooves for comfort. "That looks rather unique and could add some individuality to the jedi."

The jedi master looked with interest and raised an eyebrow as she spoke with amusement in her eyes. "Wonderful, a curved hilted saber is special for the ones who can effectively use them. Harder to place the crystals true and it functions better for a style like makashi." She was talking about it but sasori master work hilts were something designed with care. "The hilt itself is inth metal, a composite material my artisan's worked on that infuses saber resistant, blaster resistant and very lightweight materials with crystal veins of pontite adegan and solari. It makes the hilt have a calming effect for lightsiders that wil increase their connection to the force by making it easier to feel and connect with."
