Daughters of the Night

The large hall remained dimly light, the various candles flickering against the darkness as the woman stood silently at the foot of a large plinth, her golden hues gazing upon the throne that remained resting at the top. A soft smirk upon her lips as she took a step forward, her boots pressing against the marble floor as she rose higher though stopped just a few steps short. Her ears perked up and she slowly looked over her shoulder, her heavy cloak cascading down over the steps.

Slowly pivoting upon her hind foot, she took one step down, though remained where she stood. Her golden hues moved over the collection of young women before her, each her daughters in one way or another. Stepping forward again, she descend from the plinth, stopping at the base as she brought her hands forward and clasped them together slightly. Motioning towards four of her daughters - the ones that were clearly clones of her - she nodded to the other three before her.

"I am glad that you've decided to come to me tonight for we welcome two new daughters into the fold."

Her golden hues fell upon Vallory, the eager and most wanting that she had recently met - then her eyes shifted to another clad in armor - and though she knew little of Taresa, she was still worthy in her own right to carry the name. Then her attention focused upon an old face, one she had not seen in a while though was glad to known she still yet lived and had not squandered the gift of new life bestowed upon her.

"Please, sit."

The woman motioned towards the long table before her, placed already set out for the three young women as she stepped forward once more. Her hand lightly grasping a glass that rest on the table in front of her, slowly bringing it up and taking a sip of the sanguine liquid.

"We have much to talk about..."

Perhaps it had not been her own choice to become a part of the family of which Asha now carried the name, but if it had not been for Amelia she would not have been alive today. The gift that had been bestowed on her saved her life after suffering what should have been a fatal blaster wound and although it had taken some time to adjust to the sudden changes in her life it had all been for the better in the end. Although at first Asha was like a shadow to her adoptive mother, she would slowly become more of an individual like she had been effectively starting her new life. The absence that followed had been a bit too long, but with personal business handled there was no reason to decline the invitation to welcome two newcomers into the family.

"It is good to be here once again. I must apologize for my prolonged absence, personal business kept me quite occupied," the woman responded to Amelia's opening words before turning her attention to the two who were to be welcomed. "Pleasure to meet you, by the way. I am Asha." When the collective of people were invited to take a seat she took her place at the table, weaving her fingers together and resting her hands on the wooding surface in front of her. "Then I would suggest we get started."

Vallory had been quite curious upon being called upon by her 'childhood hero', [member="Amelia Sorenn-Syrush"]. So once she arrived, she found she was in fact not alone. Two others had come, plus four who seemed quite...similar. As soon as Amelia set her golden eyes upon Vallory she felt herself tense up, as if she was being visually examined. She took her seat as soon as asked, and glanced at the others quickly with her bright eyes. "Vallory" she said to the that had greeted, [member="Asha Mataya-Syrush"].

Then Vallory glanced to the other, [member="Taresa Kae"]. Then, back to Amelia she looked to. Yet still she remained silent as the others spoke.

Judgement. The Sith assassin stood with her posture tight. She had wondered if this had been a trap. Never knowing of her true family, she considered it a ruse to draw the one Sith back out of hiding and deal a blow to their leadership. So she had come, to call their bluff and deflect their attention. Her features were that of a red-head today, fiery and orange, freckles on her face and well-disguised green eyes.

“Rin.” Judgement said committing no expression or action to emphasis herself or her intent. “Hello.” She corrected herself. So used to speaking in code, in filtered into her daily life. Having no identity but that which she assumed.

Never the same face twice. She was armed, and had refused to part with her various concealed weapons below her black armor. Recovering from her wounds at [member="Kei Raxis"]’s hand, the armor was well reinforced. Her hood was not up, because with her level of sophistication in her disguises only her blood would have any hope of sensing her. As she did with them. It was just the way you looked after living as long as they had. Everything was at half pace for her, slowed down to fit her keener senses.

Sliding herself into her seat, she rested, not relaxed but watchful. She would hear them and decide the truth of it. How to best to proceed. For she had her own designs on her future, and her Master’s own plans to see born to fruition. It would be decided if her family, if that was truly who they claimed to be, aligned with her own mandate. A simple one. To see every Kae, in every corner of the galaxy, extinguished.
