STRENGTHS
- Disruptor: As a disruptor, the Smiter is created with the intent of disintegration. When a target whom is inadequately protected is shot, they are completely disintegrated.
- Sniper: The Smiter is long ranged and equipped with a sniper scope, as well as HUD linking. This brutal weapon is more than capable of firing from a distance.
- Not So Bulky: Unlike many other rifles out there, the Smiter is light enough not to be cumbersome, heavy, or bulky. It is not unusually light and nimble, but it is not a brute either.
WEAKNESSES
- Slow: The rate of fire for the Smiter is incredibly low, making it a poor choice in close combat and even leaving the sniper vulnerable in their tucked away spot to sneak attacks.
- Single Target: Unlike other disruptor models like the T-7 Ion Disruptors, this phase pulse rifle is only meant for single targets.
- Illegal: Due to the devastating and disgusting nature of how this weapon kills, the Smiter is banned and outlawed in some areas throughout the galaxy. Even in areas that it is not banned, disruptors still have a foul reputation that could make things harder on an individual carrying it around.
- Morality: Disruptors are not for the feint of heart, and many can find this rifle immoral and too much. This can make users of the weapons targets of disdain and sour reputations.
DESCRIPTION
A small selection of weapons created for the Enclave, Gwyneira Krayt crafted the devastating and ruthless rifles for Mandalorian use. Phase-Pulsar Disruptor Sniper Rifles, titled the DC-404 Smiters. Smiters are long ranged, stable, steady sniper rifles with disruptor technology, allowing for merciless killing from a perch far, far away. Despite the brutal power, powerful, these rifles are slow firing and can be a pain for the impatient person. The slow rate of fire also is a weakness that enemies can exploit. Furthermore, this blaster is made for one target at a time. Disruptor rifles have a bad reputation as brutal and immoral weapons and are even outlawed in places. This makes the Smiter an unlikely candidate for someone to just carry along - unless, of course, they just don't give a kark. It takes a special level of twisted to enjoy disintegrating targets like that...
