- Rook is designed to be a front lining droid capable of taking a beating, protecting others, and capable of suppressing enemy forces.
- Rook is compatible with Devlin Dara's force powers of mechu-deru, technometry, and electronic manipulation. As such it is possible for Devlin to control the droid using the force rather than its software and that is often the case. This means when being used in this manner it can only react or process as fast as Devlin can.
- Rook is very resistant to light sabers and other energy types due to its Ultrachrome armor.
- Rook has thick plates of Ultrachrome armor and durasteel reinforces joints. Making him very strong against kinetic attacks
- Rook is slow. He is big and bulky and capable of taking a lot of a damage but is bad at maneuvering. It tries to rely on superior fire power and its durability to keep foes from flanking it. It requires its repulsors to move at a fast pace and only is capable of linear movement when doing so.
- Ultrachrome is very durable against lightsabers but the downside of when in constant contact with such a powerful heat source like it, it is capable of melting an entire plate rather than through a single point.
Rook is a combat battle droid designed by Devlin to be used with his force powers to control and manipulate machines. Devlin himself is fragile so uses his techomancer abilities to create and control droids that will make up for his physical limitations. The Rook is his first full scale droid designed to work with his powers in mind. The droid is slow but powerful a tank like unit designed to take a beating in combat and protect Devlin from threats with its body and shield. It can move at a walking pace as normal but has the option to use its repulsors to gain speed in a linear direction. It is easy to out maneuver so its relies on its fire power to try and restrict enemy movement.
