• STRENGTHS

• And its pointed straight at your head, Tannen! : It could shoot the wings off a fly at five hundred yards

• Enchanted: The Blood Magic of Darth Themis has enchanted the rifle so that any rounds fired from it hone in on Dark Side beings. The enchantment is on the barrel itself, the magic imprinting on the bullets as soon as they leave the barrel, but the enchantment only works at relatively close ranges, and the rifle itself must be in a forty meter vicinity of the target. Also, honing in slightly causes the slug to slow down a bit as it travels, enabling a chance to dodge.

• Moddable: Can be fitted with a variety of scopes and can take incendiary, rubber, acid, or cryonic rounds

• Semi-Auto: Though with a heavy trigger pull, it will fire at the rate of an average blaster pistol

• Durable: Heavy machined Durasteel frame prevents wear and tear, resulting in less frequent repairs

• Quick Reload Speed: Comes with an action loader for the rounds, as for the air needes to fire, that is supplied by a special mechanism in the stock powered by solar energy that quick draws in and hyper compresses air after all rounds have been expended.

• Full Kit: Comes with special emergency pump and back up stock attached to it.

• Recoil: Shockingly low

• Stealthy: Its rapport is naturally silent, and since it uses only air to fire its rounds, it gives off very little thermal signature to detect.

• WEAKNESSES

Voids: Its magical effects shut down in voids

Pump time: The standard stock takes in air at high speed, but the back up requires a twelve minute cycling rate. Better be good at maintainance

Repair: If it breaks in the field it can be difficult to repair

Ammo Scarcity: A common weakness of slug throwers in the field. Which may necessitate carrying multiple heavy bags of spare ammo, slowing down their movement. Unless they plan to rely exclusively on the rifle, this is not an ideal situation

Solar: The Air Pumps are both filled by solar powered air intake mechanisms that fill in air at high rates, using high quality micro solar paneling which must be fully exposed to daylight, so one cannot charge the rifle with this system in darkness, and must resort to using the back up air pumps.

Stopping power: Middling at best.

Weight: Not a type of weapon to shoot on the move.

DESCRIPTION


During the Gulag Plague, Resources, especially those for weapons, were scarce everywhere, leading some to rely increasingly on cheap weaponry or low tech solutions to supply themselves with a means of staying alive. Only the most powerful factions could field military grade weaponry with any regularity.

The De Lifte Family, a large family of Jedi celebrated as heroes during the Gulag Plague, frequently found themselves forced to make due with less, which led to this rifle design. Designed as sturdy as possible with the cheapest, most easily obtainable ammo possible, this militarized air rifle saw frequent use by members of the Family sent behind enemy lines, and was somewhat infamous as an assassination weapon. Themis obtained this example for Alyosha Drutin due to his recent apprenticeship to her, freed from a weapon cache she had set up long ago and had delivered to him personally.

Can you please explain how this would home in onto Dark sided beings? And who determines if the target is dark or not?

Solar: The Air Pumps are both solar powered, so one cannot charge the rifle in darkness.

Um wait. Hold up. How is an air canister, refilled due to sunlight? Is it a solar generator that turns on when it reaches a specific pressure count? Because last I knew, in order to fill up the air on an air rifle, you had to pressurize air with a compressor or exchange the air into the weapon's tank... Air tanks do not refill themselves off of sunlight.
