::Galactic Neophyte: Spending ones life in Jedi training causes one to not be as clued into the galactic happenings as most.
::BIOGRAPHY: Deacon Zelev was raised in an Asteroid Temple within the Atrisia System. The Temple was originally affiliated with the Galactic Republic, spent time as fairly independent, and then became nominally affiliated with the Silver Jedi. Deacon was raised between the first two periods there, and was a padawan to his Master prior to the entry to it's current affiliation. His Master was a Sentinel in the Jedi Order, a Jedi at home in the rougher parts of the galaxy, able to fit in among locals here and there and attune to technology in ways that Guardians and Consulars rarely did. Deke learned from this, and likewise had an affinity with the technology that ran the galaxy.
