Private Dear Hearts and Gentle People

In the hours and days after a deal had been reached between the Dosuunian Commonwealth and the Sith Order, Ivalyn had been tapped to be the Commonwealth's representative. A seat at the Assembly on behalf of an entire nation, of course it meant that Her Majesty High Queen Kelora Priestly was often but a holo call away. Ivalyn wasn't sure whether she was grateful for the opportunity or not, considering the level of malice the High Queen held for her and her family. It seemed, however; only a Yvarro could bring the likes the Commonwealth and Sith Order together. The statement alone left the woman feeling uneasy at least for awhile, whilst she had gone over what she could about the state of the Sith Order's economy.
It seemed she had her work cut out for her. Fortunately, Ivalyn would not be alone in that endeavor for on that Tausday she was due to meet with Lodd Grimmin Lodd Grimmin while she had hoped to meet with Lord Blepharon but it seemed he was rather indisposed for the moment. Regardless, she arranged to meet with Senator Grimmin at the Commonwealth Central Bank in Prosperia. The Bank arranged its most opulent room for the occassion. There were a few things to discuss of course and that was to figure out how the two economies would be working together, the matter of the Commonwealth's currency and its value, and finally the nuances of state of both economies at present. Ivalyn suspected it wouldn't be a simple one day meeting but at the very least they could get started.
On arrival to the Central Bank, Ivalyn with her cup of 't Koffieboontje caf in hand, and her briefcase in the other rushed toward the lift doors. The proxemics within the lift left everyone there standing off to their own corners. Silence filled the car as it ascended and paused at various floors, and once at the designated floor. Ivalyn disembarked the lift and headed for the meeting room. The top floor of the Central Bank was opulent enough with its polished floors and cherry-stained wooden decor. An attendant opened the door for her and Ivalyn having the meeting room to herself, took the opportunity to prepare. Whilst the Dosuunian sun sprinkled in between the floor length blinds

The Neimoidian had just received the news that the Trade Federation's representative to the Sith Order, Lord Blepharon, was currently detained in an Alliance Prison.

As a result of this, Lodd would have to redirect negotiations and business transactions within the Sith Order to himself, until the New Jedi Order and the Federal Assembly were prepared to accept a bond for release, even though the likelihood of such a scenario was extremely low due to the ongoing hostilities between the Galactic Alliance and the Dark Empire, a group comprised of the New Sith and Ex-Imperials of the New Imperial Order.

The Mirage Class Superyacht known as the "Lodd's Array"; emerged from hyperspace towards the City of Prosperia. On this planet, the Trade Federation and the Sith Order would conclude a trade agreement with the Dosuunian Commonwealth, an emerging yet secluded force in galactic affairs.

The potential partnership has the potential to provide additional resources and foreign currency to the Sith Order in order to alleviate the economic decline that economists had anticipated in that particular space region for quite some time.

The yacht landed within the nearest opening clear, allowing the Senator descend down the ramp on the Mechno-chair, a status symbol amongst the Neimoidian Culture and one of the many benefits of being a high-ranking member of the Trade Federation.

The mechanical chair would move him into the Commonwealth Central Bank, pass the many clerks and staff expecting his arrival.

The elevator transported him to the boardroom, where rigorous discussions were scheduled to occur. He couldn't help but appreciate the architecture as he made his way through, with the ornate doors being opened to allow him through.

"Ah, It is a pleasure to finally meet you. Miss?" He said, not knowing Ivalyn Yvarro Ivalyn Yvarro exactly.

"Yvarro," Ivalyn was quick to fill in the blanks for the Senator, "the pleasure is all mine, please, why don't we get started. Our staff here will be able to fetch any refreshments you may require." The woman gestured toward the table in the boardroom, she took her seat and proceeded to bring up the holographic projector in the center of the table. "I've gone over what I could of the Sith Order's economy." She stopped there and gave him a soft, weak smile they both knew the state it was in. "I'll just bring up the Commonwealth's economy in as far as statistics go right beside it. There is as you can see an uneven trajectory here. While we most certainly want to improve the Sith Order's economic status. The Commonwealth will not do so at its own expense."

"I wanted to first hear your proposals and then see if they line up with what I had in mind." Ivalyn explained to the Senator, "and then of course there is the matter of currency. The Commonwealth has had its Sovereign for some now, we're currently in the process of redesigning the currency. Removing one Queen's face and putting on another's." It was now more or less a matter of getting the circulation of new cash moving. "I had done some research, and found the Sith Imperial Autarch, any chance of reviving the currency for the Sith Order? I understand they utilize the credit, however would there by any benefit to reviving the old currency?" If any thing it could help the internal state of the Sith's economy, and give more control to certain entities over the economy's direction, perhaps. It was a thought though, nothing more, she wanted to hear what Senator Lodd Grimmin Lodd Grimmin had to say first.

The Neimoidian Senator was pleased that the discussion between them would progress without the customary informal exchanges that often plagued these proceedings. He reached down on the control panel as the Mechno-chair moved forward towards an empty spot near the table, observing the holographic projections displaying the economies of the Sith Order and the Commonwealth.

It was evident that the Commonwealth had achieved greater internal stability, whereas the Sith Order prioritized swift expansion without considering the financial risks involved.

Prior to presenting her own suggestions regarding a trade agreement, she aimed to acquire a deeper understanding of his proposals and determine if they were in alignment.

The Trade Federation had established multiple trade agreements to guarantee optimal benefits from any resources, subtly adjusting the terms until the opposing party was content. So it would not be hard to bring the Commonwealth in line with their economic thinking.

"Miss Yvarro, the primary proposal at hand is that the Sith Order, along with the Sith Banking Clan, is open to considering the Commonwealth as a tributary region with an enclosed market. This economic terminology essentially implies that the Commonwealth would ensure its financial stability while also offering the Sith Order a reliable region for investment. The Sith's investments, as part of this agreement, would enable the Commonwealth to acquire foreign currency and reinvest it into the economy of the Sith Order." The Senator explained to Ivalyn Yvarro Ivalyn Yvarro , wanting to assure any potential ally with the Sith Order that they could maintain an autonomous region within the framework of the Sith Empire, while also providing the necessary tribute to contribute to the war effort on their own terms.

"Reviving an ancient currency like the Sith-Imperial Autarch, poses several challenges within the Sith Order's economy as far as I am concerned. The primary concern lies in the fact that the issuing authority, the Sith-Imperial Banking Clan, ceased to offically exist when the Sith Empire fell. The current entity known as the Sith Banking Clan, led by Darth Xyrah under the authority of Darth Carnifex, lacks the credibility needed to guarantee the old currency's value among the merchants and traders operating in the region which are vital for any economic growth beyond industrial expansionary efforts." The Neimoidian clarified that the Sith-Imperial Autarch was a currency created by the Sith-Imperial Banking Clan, an organization that, for all intents and purposes, no longer exists. As a result, the value that the currency once held in the financial markets is no longer present to back any efforts to revive it.

All that meant to Ivalyn was that it needed to be rebranded, and reworked, it could be used to later control different populations by limiting the type of currencies they had access to. Same could be said for the Talon, the Senator gave her a rather long winded answer but the answer was something to keep in mind. Not that she harbored any more ambitious gains than the present. "Thank you Senator, the question regarding the Autarch was of a personal inquiry." She gave him a tight smile, "now then, onto the more pressing issue of aligning the Commonwealth and Sith Order economies."

Ivalyn wasn't completely immune to the subtleties that the Neimoidian presented to her about the aforementioned pressing issue. "While secluded, the Commonwealth does engage in active trading." Albeit not as much, given the Commonwealth's ability to sustain itself, but that was before agreeing to become part of the Sith Order as a protectorate. "Currently the Commonwealth is seeking active trading partners with Danger Arceneau Danger Arceneau 's trade company, and they're already key partners with Taeli Raaf Taeli Raaf 's Aurora Industries and are home to my family's company Primo Victorian Enterprises." Closed markets scarcely did business beyond their borders, "could you elaborate on acquiring foreign currency? We currently trade in currency, of course, but have no need of currency beyond our Sovereigns, and what sort of investments the Sith Order is to make?"

The Neimoidian Senator was engrossed in deep contemplation, while the representative before him absorbed the lengthy but detailed speech he had just delivered regarding the reintroduction of the Sith-Imperial Autarch into the market, and how that would face several problems if actually implemented. Ivalyn Yvarro later stated that her inquiry about the Autarch was purely personal and unrelated to the trade agreement between the Sith Order and the Commonwealth. She expressed her desire to quickly transition to integrating the two economic systems into a cohesive foundation.

"Ah I believe there was some sort of misunderstanding, The term "enclosed-market" is used to describe a region that primarily focuses on internal trading between the systems of the Commonwealth, with occasional external trading to keep itself integrated within the wider economic network of the galaxy." Lodd wanted to swiftly clarify to Ivalyn Yvarro Ivalyn Yvarro that the Sith Order and the Sith Banking Clan did not percieve the Commonwealth as operating within a closed-market, merely that they were engaged in internal trading between themselves.

"The Commonwealth, as per the agreement, would act solely as an intermediary buyer for the Sith Order. Essentially, their role would involve obtaining high-value currency, like the Alliance Credit from nations or powers not involved in economic dealings with the Sith Order. Subsequently, this currency would be transferred to the Sith Banking Clan through the Commonwealth to prevent a total financial breakdown. Of course some of this currency would be invested into the Commonwealth Economy, such as public works projects, expansion of housing and industrial facilities." The Neimoidian explained with limited details, as to not bog down the dicussion entirely.

"I see," Ivalyn acknowledged, "I am grateful for the clarification."

The representative then listened as the Senator explained the Commonwealth's role. With intent she made notes to herself, scribbled them down on a pad with a pen, and then in her eyes the ideas and realizations began to settle in. Ivalyn concealed the smile she had, it meant perhaps in the future she could exploit this to the Commonwealth's benefit later on. She motioned for the waitstaff to bring in a fresh pot of caf for herself and gestured that they bring in anything that the Neimoidian wished for in as far as refreshments went. "An intermediary buyer," she repeated the words that the Senator had just spoken. "Currency aside, does the Sith Order need anything else that perhaps the Commonwealth can obtain on its behalf?" It would be no secret that the Dosuunian Commonwealth had bent the knee to the Sith. However, with its more democratically aligned governments and venture capitalists within its ranks.

The nation could do more economically than say an autocratic empire run by a corpse. "I ask only as the Commonwealth intends to expand its own borders, to nations who share a consitutional link with itself." Therefore any world who had once been part of the First Order were eligible to join its ranks. "We have access to hyperspace lanes not on any tradtiional astrogation chart, you understand. Should there be items that the Sith need to acquire but perhaps discretely. I'm sure we can come to an arrangement." The Commonwealth while having presented itself as the beacon of freedom and the champion of individual rights. Had harbored many of their old habits, although buried deep under layers of buearcracy, the old First Order still ticked and tocked. They had simply turned to consumerism and propaganda to turn their citizens into the obident children of Her Majesty's will.

"As the agreement stands, we are more than happy to act on behalf of the Sith Order and by proxy the Sith Banking Clan." She knew he hadn't told her everything, which was fine by all accounts.

Lodd attentively absorbed Ivalyn Yvarro Ivalyn Yvarro reply to the proposals, experiencing a disconcerting sensation as they appeared overly eager to assume this responsibility. The Senator couldn't shake off the lingering concern that this agreement might favor the Commonwealth more than the Sith Order.

The Neimoidian was acutely aware that a single misstep in the political arena could have disastrous consequences for the Sith Order's economy, as it relied on the goodwill of the Commonwealth to obtain the necessary currency to mitigate the ongoing economic decline despite the rapid expansion of the war fronts.

"I am but a servant to the ever-shifting desires of the Sith Emperor. Should the Sith Empire require anything further from the Commonwealth, the Emperor will duly notify you through the proper chain of personnel. Although; we are pleased that you have accepted our fundamental proposition." He would never dare to assume he knew the intentions of the Corpse Emperor regarding the Commonwealth. His only goal was to finalize the basic agreement between them before passing it on to someone more knowledgeable about the Emperor's principles for the future. This individual would then communicate any additional needs to the Commonwealth.

"Of course," Ivalyn acknowledged, "we all have our part to play."

She offered him a warm smile it matched the tone in her voice, "the fundamental agreement certainly looks well enough, if you don't mind. I'd like to dispatch a copy of this to our Secretary-General of Economic Affairs. They'll discuss this with Her Majesty, you understand she would like to get a look at this before it all goes through." Like the Senator, Ivalyn was merely a cog in a greater machine, for he was to the Sith Empire like she was to the Commonwealth. Ivalyn did take the moment to look at the Senator, truly look at him, the way her father Djorn Bline Djorn Bline had taught her.

The Snake hadn't become the New Imperial Order's boogeyman overnight, it had been an earned reputation. Such a reputation relied on skills, some of which he passed onto Ivalyn. Who for the longest time wanted no part in the political arena and yet with each passing hour she became embroiled in Commonwealth-Sith politicking, wheeling and dealing that it was starting to become... Comfortable, and that part disturbed her. Ivalyn rose from the table, she requested her tablet, and once it was poffered by a member of staff. She began to type up the fundamental agreement to be dispatched to the appropriate parties. Ivalyn gave the Senator a reassuring smile while making a mental note to look at the corporate entities currently under the Sith Empire's yoke.

"Did you as a servant of His Imperial Majesty, have any other requests of the Commonwealth, while we await the results of Her Majesty's review?"

"Of course, we will eagerly wait the results from her Majesty." The Neimoidian expressed no objections in sending the preliminary agreement to the Secretary-General of Economic Affairs, which would then be sent to Her Majesty for approval.

Although it is crucial to follow the appropriate procedures, the Sith Order may consider bypassing intermediaries when engaging with the Commonwealth moving forward. Desiring agreements and goods to be delievered directly to Her Majesty, rather than involving a third-party bureaucrat.

"His Imperial Majesty merely wishes to test the waters, when it comes to dealings with the Commonwealth. Therefore, we will not proceed with any further discussions or arrangements until we are confident that everything progresses seamlessly without any issues."

Lodd explained to Ivalyn Yvarro Ivalyn Yvarro , as the Sith Order's goal was to focus on making a basic agreement between them and the Commonwealth as a sort of testing arena for future negotiations.

The moments passed, "of course, and here we are." Ivalyn downloaded information to the tablet and read over it, "it seems Her Majesty and the Secretary General approve of everything so far." She turned it over to Senator Lodd Grimmin Lodd Grimmin so that he could examine the signatures for himself. Ivalyn made a mental note to send her father Djorn Bline Djorn Bline a letter later, for once, she was going to lean on the old snake for a bit of advice. Plus, she was sure he still had a few contacts who perhaps didn't see him as the zealous-foaming-at-the-mouth-radical that he was. After while Ivalyn thought about what she might say to the Assembly. While the deal with Lady Taeli Raaf Taeli Raaf and Darth Malum of House Marr Darth Malum of House Marr had certainly been productive she still needed to seal the annexation deal.

"Did you have any further questions or concerns that I could address for you at this time?" Ivalyn inquired of the Senator, "if not then I shall be most privileged to see you back to your ship. Or, if you wish it, you are welcomed to stay in our fine cities." As it happened she was sure the Commonwealth would seek further deals with the Trade Federation outside of their annexation. "You and the Trade Federation are most welcome in the Commonwealth." Ivalyn remarked politely, waiting for the Senator to move before rising from the table.

"Most excellent" The Neimoidian, with utmost satisfaction to Ivalyn Yvarro Ivalyn Yvarro , observing the endorsement signatures of Her Majesty and the Secretary-General of Economic Affairs. Although he did not hold the official title of ambassador for the Sith Order, he had achieved a remarkable feat with the Commonwealth.

This achievement was bound to create a considerable impact, potentially concluding the annexation endeavors and ensuring the robustness of the Sith Economy for its forthcoming expansion.

He needed to spend some time reflecting on whether there were any further queries or inquiries to pose to the representative of the Commonwealth.

The thoughts that arose did not pertain to the Sith Order, but rather focused on the Trade Federation, which constantly sought out new avenues for wealth and influence.

However, such transactions would need to be postponed for a later date since the Senator preferred not to be absent from Fondor for an extended period, in order to prevent arousing any doubts within the Federal Assembly.

"Thank you, Ambassador, for your offer, but I regretfully decline due to the Senate's vigilant monitoring of its members. The Trade Federation remains open to engaging in additional agreements, free from any association with the Sith Order or his Imperial Majesty."

He said, moving the Mechno-chair away from the table, offering a soft smile in her direction before pressing the control panel to see himself off.
