Death and Rebirth: End of the Black Tie Syndicate

Miss Blonde

Trying to be straight in a crooked Galaxy
It was time. The Black Tie Syndicate had to go. They were one of the most notorious gangs in the galaxy and even though they had the capacity to continue, all things had to come to an end. People had died, thousands and maybe even millions due to their raids, sacks, and other deadly operations. People wanted them gone, and it was pretty unanimous across the board. Sith, Jedi, Imperials, a lot of them had axes to grind with the Black Ties. So it was time to put all that to bed and move forward with life. It was time to be better, it was time to accept what had been done.

With a holonet broadcast going out to the more shady parts of the galaxy, the image that popped up was a rather presidential one. Miss Blonde in her gas mask and suit sitting behind a large desk as if she were about to address the people of the nation. She took a deep breath and then spoke in her professional and robotic laced tone.

"People of the Underworld. My brothers and sisters, or whatever non gender conforming species you might be. As you know I've been leading the Black Tie Syndicate for the last few years, and while it's been an honor and a privilege to be the face of the criminal underworld, I'm afraid all good things must come to an end." There was a slight pause as she took a deep breath before continuing onwards.

"I say this since my heart can no longer bare the weight of my guilt. I have been responsible for the deaths of many men and women. Everyone from innocent civilians to Jedi masters. Their deaths weigh heavy on my soul." That was a big fat lie if you couldn't tell. She could of cared less.

"So I must announce that the Black Tie Syndicate is no more, we are to disband and fade into the annals of history. The raids and mindless violence will cease, and the death of every innocent will be paid forward. However any bounties including the deck of 52 will still be honored and be considered active to be collected by any hunters, we do not wish to impede your work in any way. But do not be sad my friends, although the sun may set on the Black Tie Syndicate, a new day will rise, and with it a new organization." Blonde then let out a soft chuckle and stared directly into the camera.

"You didn't think it would be that easy, did you?" The transmission would end and everything would change.

What would this mean for the future of crime? The Galaxy was already scarce when it came to criminal organizations, everything always boiled down to Jedi vs Sith. Only time would tell sadly.

Causstik Rahn watched the holo screen from his throne at bone City. Someone was transmitting on all channels of the deep web… Which aggravated Causstik to no end. It was interrupting his daily screening of Desperate House Tuskens. Finally a figure would appear behind the large desk that had preoccupied the screen for sometime with seemingly no reason. It was revealed to be none other than Miss Blonde herself. Causstik had worked with the Miscreant time and again. She announced the death of the Black tie syndicate, but left the screen with a bit of a cliff hanger. Causstik rubbed his chin thoughtfully.

Whatever she was up too Causstik wanted to be apart of it. For wherever the tyrant deemed to go blood usually flowed. And this, this was something Causstik could stand behind. He yanked a chain that was attached to his throne and a well muscled scantily clad man came tumbling forward. Wrong chain. The scantily clad man began to pick himself up off the ground as Causstik yanked yet another chain attached to his throne. This time a voluptuous female equally scantily clad came forward. Causstik had no taste for men or women. It was more of a power thing for him, but still they did have their uses.

“You! Find out where that transmission came from!” He growled at the woman and she raced to do his bidding. Lest her hide adorn the walls like so many slaves before her. The woman was a slicer whom made the mistake of thinking Bone City was open to all. The truth was every bar in the city had trap doors that led to a series of tunnels which all connected to the slave pens beneath. Bone City was strictly locals only and those lucky enough to escape were sure to never return.

Nar Shaddaa, Underground Bunker

It was not often that Abyss heard something that was unexpected enough to leave him entirely speechless, but to call the message he had just witnessed unexpected would be an understatement. After the image of [member="Miss Blonde"] disappeared from the screen in his hideout deep below the surface of the smuggler moon, the sith lord reached for his comm, after a short moment of consideration. It didn't sounded like she was in trouble, more like a restructuring of her empire, but the suddenness still left him a bit worried. With a few quick tips on the comm, he composed a message to her, encrypted and lead through multiple proxies so no one could trace it back.

"Where? When? -A"

Whatever was going on, Abyss was detriment to find out. After all it wasn't just personal, but also had an effect on his operations if a allied faction suddenly dissolved. And more importantly, in the rather likely case that Blonde had something even bigger in mind than the black tie syndicate, he intended to play a part in it.

In his full sith attire, Abyss moved through his bunker. With a nod he signaled one of his officers that he was heading out. By now they had heard the news as well, and so there was no need for them to ask him where he was going, and neither did he had to tell them what to do now. They would stay ready, should any fool in the underworld decide that this was the perfect time to make a move, and make the problem disappear.

Shrouded in shadows, the sith Lord left his bunker, invisible to those that passed by him, constantly keeping a watch on his comm. This could mean great risk or great opportunity, and he was ready for both.

Erin watched the video intently, studying it for every Minot detail. She had to be planning something. You don't just end a galactic crime organization with out sufficient reason. Something was up. Ever since a run in in corusant, Erin had been hunting for any way to end the organization. No. it can't be the end. Something is starting... something that will change the galaxy forever.... Erin sent a message to all Caroleans, warning them to be on high alert sinc e their leader, Charles had disappeared for a few days, drunk no doubt.

Good riddance: the death of the CIS or the brave people of Alexandria haven't been in vain. If the future incarnation makes use of Sith, as the BTS had, you can make sure you will find me or the Commonwealth on your path, she thought, upon viewing the announcement from the Black Tie Syndicate leadership from a holoscreen on Ziost, while nestled in her headquarters' conference room, where an editorial meeting is being held. Surprisingly, in the weeks following the attack on the Sith Inquisitor, the Sith Order has kept mostly quiet. [member="Miss Blonde"]'s words are a little worrisome: if a new day was to rise on another criminal organization, the BTS might be dead but she must watch out for their successors, and not just for the Commonwealth. She experiments with the mind trick, while keeping in mind that the Sith Inquisitor will always be a newspaper to paint the Sith as monsters that live only for butchery and explosions, regardless of who else is along for the ride with them.

"There's some good material for a story on the death of the Black Tie Syndicate: make sure that the connection between Christophsis, Alexandria and the death of the Black Tie Syndicate is clear"

"If I may add: how Christophsis forced the BTS to rely on the Sith to commit their crimes more and more afterward" the head editor commented.

"The Sith only seem to be part of BTS operations when an opportunity to cause destruction is provided" she tells the head editor, under the effect of a mind trick.

"The Sith only seem to be part of BTS operations when an opportunity to cause destruction is provided" the head editor tells, hypnotized.

"The Sith that fight alongside the successors of the BTS are expected to be idiots that live only for butchery and explosions"
