Galactic Senate Hearing for Sectors 22450, 18574, 22781
Tyren sat comfortably beside his Senator as they both listened intently to the speaker who had the floor. Or so it appeared that way. Tyren had long since learned to drown out the booming voices while their points were none of his concern. Most days he found his mind lost on underground politics or back hand dealings he had been hearing about or investigating. Knowledge was the key to being in power. If a man was in the know then he was dangerous. This danger kept you alive and gave you a voice. Some would have you believe different but they didn't play the game. It was the same on the Galactic level as it was on the slums where he had come from.

His hands sat in his lap comfortably and his eyes looked out over the edge of their section that connected to one of the arched walls like all of the rest in the huge open room that gave each speaker a clear line of sight and chance to have their voice heard. Across the way he could see a Senator mumbling to himself. Clearly preparing to make a speech. Did Tyren know what that speech was going to be about? Of course. It was the reason he had taken notice to the chubby man. His stances on demolition and construction within Sector 22781 of the city would have you believe that he was making everyone's life better. Why wouldn't another luxurious housing SpaceScraper be a benefit to all. Wealthy people always deserved new toys. No one cared to see the thousands of slummy homes sitting directly underneath the surface of the city. Was it not enough they had pushed the poor underground? Now they would force them out onto the cold streets again. Or so this Senator thought. Tyren had a different idea of how this day would turn out entirely.

Reela Witko

Nautolan. Princess. Jedi.
Reela Witko, the princess and aspiring ambassador for her people on Glee Anselm, watched a speaker after speak talked with others about the sectors of space. While it seemed boring at times Reela knew she had to stay focused as ever for these proceedings. One way or another they would likely effect her or her planet and people. One thing she learned was politics was like dominoes: eventually everyone would be effects by the first one who fell.

TC-18, her personal droid, was preset as well. He stood silently and only made sure Reela paid enough attention to the proceedings. Ever the dutiful servant he was. But Reela began to notice the boy nearby. He seemed a little young to be a senator or ambassador but then maybe he was like her, someone studying to reach that rank.

Walking over to him, while making sure TC was too busy to notice, she reached him and stood next to him while whispering "Trying to know your away around political procedures too?"

His thoughts were broken when a Nautolan woman in Jedi robes spoke to him. His first lesson in politics had been simple. You keep a poker face. His smile grew wide and a soft whispering laugh came from the back of his throat while responding in a whisper pleasantly, "Yeah. The more you know the better you'll be at all of this is what they keep telling me. What brings a Jedi to a Senate hearing on construction permits?" Tyren said while reaching his hands up into the air at the hundreds of pods for the senators from all around the Galaxy.

"Well, if you must know," she began to say in a friendly tone. "this Jedi needs to learn this sort of stuff. From small construction permits to, eventually, allowing planets into republic space and so forth." She turned to him and smiled while saying "I'm going to be a diplomat on top of being an eventual Jedi master." She turned to the side while saying "Hopefully...."

A'donari smiled at his new Padawans sly comment. "Leave the young Senator be Reela. He has a job to do just like us." He said kindly while wearing a smile. Truth be told he was not enjoying himself at the least. Five more hours guaranteed of kind arguments lay straight ahead in his future and he couldn't voice his opinion which would be an easy one. A world covered in buildings probably didn't need anymore.....

The Padawan entered the political stage, slowly and carefully ducking to stand to the right behind A'Donari. He had been assigned to the Nautolan for training, or atleast he hoped he had. The massive feline stood at a strong but graceful 10'4" and likely dwarfed the other races around him as usual. Not that it bother him or that he took advantage of the situation.

For now he would stand and wait, clad his grey robes and metal gauntlets, giving only a deep rumble to give his presence away other than his Force Signature.

Sochi had been assigned to accompany Jedi Knight A'donari, and his new Padawan Lady Reela; the latter whom she met once before. Also, a Padawan by the name of Kelios would be in company as well. All of this information she received in briefing, she hadn't the pleasure of working with the Nautolan Jedi Knight before; hopefully everything would go well.

She made her way to the senate building; a place of politics. She walked through the luxurious halls, passing maintenance droids, and staff. Even some representatives. Diplomacy was one thing she found rather interesting, if this went well she might even ask for more missions like this.

Seeing A'donari from a distance, she slowly walked up. She was wearing her long flowing Jedi robes; they dropped on the floor behind her. She had her arms crossed behind her back as she approached the two. She walked to stand near them, turning only slightly.

"Greetings, I hope I haven't missed anything important" she said softly, so that she wasn't a big distraction.

Hearing her master Reela turned just as he told her not to bother Tyren. She crossed her arms and said "Yes master..." in a more befuddled tone. She could see as TC had been with her master as well, likely wanting to say something about her sneaking away from both himself and Cinn in the process. Before they could Reela noticed Master Ru arriving and, pushing past the others, curtsied before her and said "Good day, Master Sochi. It's great to see you again. And no you haven't missed much yet."

His young Padawans made his day more enjoyable though keeping track was a full time job on top of his already toppling duties. A friendly face moved gracefully towards their rag tag.... Massive statured group with himself standing at a strong 6'8 and his newest Padawan at a toppling 10'4 who's very breaths rumbled deep within the large chest right behind A'donari's head.

A friendly smile spread across his already cheerfully adorned facial features as he openly welcomed the fellow Jedi to the party. @[member="Reela Witko"], nearly leapt when she saw the woman walking forward in her long ceremonial garb. A'donari felt the same way though he masked his emotions as he had always forced himself to do. "Have you been sanctioned to this hearing as well? How may Jedi do we need looking over the likes of what might cast a shadow on our lovely temple?" he said making himself laugh.

Yusan glanced over the others throughout the confines of the Senate area, his eyes darting from one area to another until they settled upon the Jedi whom had arrived. They were a common and interesting sight now, he had certainly found their presence more welcoming than he had all so many months before. Next his eyes found their way to the man that the Jedi had spoken to, an attendant of a senator's. There was no doubt today would certainly be an entertaining one, as someone had something to bring forth to the others and they would no doubt be something for their benefit. He sighed now as he sat there, his wounds were still healing and he had to sit out the rest of the campaign against the Sith. What more his actions on Ossus had been a hard thing to keep quiet, and his mind was still recovering from such, but it was good now and time to do as he as suppose to.

The commotion coming from the jedi didn't bother him. He was enjoying the distraction while waiting for the tubby speaker but he couldn't show that. The Senator he served looked flustered. Would he show it to the Jedi Gods, as they were treated on Coruscant? Of course not. Each one possible of being the next Jedi Master of their generation. Yet another portion of the game. Tyren saw it. Why didn't everyone else? "I'll be back shortly. It would be polite to escort our new Jedi friends for a short while." he whispered into the ear of the Senator causing a nod and mumbled 'good lad.'

Rising from his seat briskly and making his way to the group made him feel as if his shackles had finally broken and now he was running for his life. The warm pressence of the Jedi was known by all but rarely did one get to experience it for themselves. It seemed as if they were all brothers and sisters in a large family. Tyren shared a common since of happiness every time he returned to his brothers and sisters surviving down in the sewers and under cities. That life he had lived was his and his alone. It gave him a sense of worth which he held to strongly. Some made remarks about his strong will or clever nature but truth be told it was what he had gone through that had made him who he was today. His likable features were turned on full as he approached and spoke through a kind and gentle grin. "Care if I join you? I'd venture to say that I know this building like the back of my hand."
