Deckplans and other Maps

Hello Chaos!

I have been scouring the web on making more detailed deckplans for my ship but I the only thing I have seen is Cosmographer 3. I was wondering if you artists out there have a preference? I have Dungeon Painter Studio but there are alot of pieces they do not have.

Eventually I want to not only make detailed deckplans for my ship(s) but I want to be able to make maps for buildings/structures. To me, this gives a better feeling of picturing the setting.

Any help will be appreciated!

Hello, doppelganger!

Cosmographer is a very complicated program, but with practice it can do what you want. It comes with a very significant pricetag though.

Hello doppelganger!

I have been watching videos on it and it kinda reminds me of the GECK (Content creator for Fallout). I may wait until I get a few paychecks and check up on it. I have seen some done brilliantly online but I can never find the source of their work. Anyways, thanks for the suggestion friend!

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

Very random suggestion, not suitable for ships: use Skyrim's content creator and leave the roofs off, then screencap or even videorecord as needed. You can make a TON of stuff that way.
