SPECIAL FEATURES
- Only works for two people: The creator of the item and the Ivory Stroud. In order to work the device it needs a voice imprinted password and an iris scan.
- Secure: The device is only linked to devices that use Dedata's software. If other devices try to brute force access the device will send a notification of tampering then shut off for a manual reset.
- Data feeds: The visor section of the headset can display information to what it can detect, Information can also be sent to the headset.
- Two way com: The com allows Ivory to hear Dedata and even speak to her from great distances on a secure and Very complex encryption.
- Extremely resistant to slicing/hacking. The software used on this device is inconceivable to others people and droids, making it nearly impossible to hack or listen into.
- The device is resistant to EMP/ION, meaning it will continue to work after been hit by an EMP pulse or ion.
- The device is waterproof and can withstand being hit by lightning from a force user for a period of time. Though it does not stand well with fire.
- To even attempt to slice the device one would need to be familiar with Dedata's complex programming software which is needed to brake the firewall fortress. Attempts to even connect to the device will cause it to shut off and be manually reset.
- The Visor offers zero protection to the user
- It can be broken, the visor can be broken by something as simple as sitting on it or hit in the wrong way. Though it is durable and not cheap materials, its limited to the kind of punishment it can take.
After seeing her face, hearing her voice and told her true name. There was little hiding from
Ivory Stroud
. After spending some time with the woman and getting to know the woman for who she was that was not just details on a screen, Dedata made a Visor with the main purpose of communication outside her normal way of using text based messages. Though in the end the device became a little more than just a com device that linked to Dedata's devices that ran a particular software.The visor lens would display basic information at what was looked at. Like if she was to look at a person with a bounty it would display the price on their head and crime/reason. It would also detail information of uncommon items and drugs. When in close proximity more detailed information can be sent to the Visor via the connection to the helmet she uses when outside her ship or even from the datapads she uses. To secure the device from slicer attacks it runs from a custom made firewall fortress, written from a program Dedata developed over the years of work as an information broker and slicer. Not even a droid would understand the artform of the code. However it also limits the device to others that run from the same software.
In terms of materials it was made to be as light as possible and sleek enough that it would fit comfortably under a helmet. The frame is made using Plastoid then a layer of EM shielding. The plastoid was coted in three colours, black, light grey and purple. On the bad that rests on the forehead and the back of the head is a strips of polyurethane foam with Synthweave over the top for comfort.
