Description
The average person normally doesn't have much of a defense against the force in this galaxy, especially if they aren't force sensitive. Attacks like lightning, fire, and just pure dark side tendrils themselves have destroyed the average man who didn't have access to a Ysalamir, or worse the rarest material in the Galaxy, void stone. And while the Defender Bracelet isn't as full proof as either of those it certainly provides a lot more mobility for the person than having to carry around a huge pack on their back or void steel armor.
Strengths. How does it work exactly if you're a non force user? Well, very easily and effectively. If you are a non force user looking for the protection of TK then simply make sure the bracelet is fastened on correctly, touch your hand to the center charm and it will activate the bubble to turn it off simply tap it again and it will shut off. As an NFU the bubble can stay activated for about five continuous minutes before it needs thirty minutes to charge or if the bubble is destroyed by overwhelming damage, if you are a force user and using this item just keep feeding energy into the bracelet and the bubble will remain active for as long as you can hold it. The bubble protects against various attacks ranging from blasters, bullets, swords, lightning, force choke, TK, pyrokinesis, really anything on the more physical aspect of the force and weapons. As for its durability while you're not going to be holding up against turbo laser fire but it's tough enough to hold up against sustained attacks for a short period of time. Just be realistic about defense.
Weaknesses. Obviously areas where the force energy is negated this won't work. Void stone and Ysalamir bubbles will do the trick of keeping this from activating and sustain its defensive energies. Further more force dead Yuuzhan Vong weapons will pass right through the defensive bubble and potentially strike the user. Also be aware that this bubble does not protect against mental force attacks or anything involving the sort. Force insanity, mind shard, all of these powers go right through the bubble and can afflict the user. But lastly this bracelet is still a bracelet and while it's made of tough leather and copper it can still be destroyed by conventional means such as explosions and other forms of physical damage.
Summary. If you're looking for some protection against force energy and attacks this is for you. It's great for NFUs and even better for padawans still struggling to learn defensive TK. It'll protect you and make sure you can live to see another day.
